"It does. I think I'll definitely get that." He chuckled, closing his menu and setting it down. He smiled at Andrew again and he breathed out slowly. "Are you having the same thing?" He'd never felt at a loss for things to say as he was now.
Finally, he couldn't hold back some of what he wanted to say, looking across the table to Andrew with those two toned eyes. "Andrew? Is it... horrible that I like both you and Jacob? I'll be with him--and I'll think of you, and I just... I'm torn. I asked him to quit his work and he moved in with me." He hadn't really meant to blurt that out, blushing as he covered his mouth briefly. "I just.. I can tell that he's happy but.. I can tell that he might not like trying a different job--you know?" "I believe I shall," Andrew said nodding, setting his menu down as well. It had served as a good distraction for a short while but nothing could make either of them forget any of the things going on for too long. Licking his lips he looked around the restaurant which seemed to have a good business even for lunch.
His eyes returned to Ashley though as he spoke, wanting to say it wasn't a bad thing but he allowed the man to keep talking. His eyes widened startled at the news Jacob had moved in with Ashley and had quit his job for the man across from him. His hands that had been sitting in his lap were clenched in a fist but he continued to stay silent until Ashley stopped. "It's not entirely horrible," Andrew said carefully as his dark eyes met Ash's. He liked the man across from him a lot and though he had nothing against Jacob he had hoped the man's job would lead the relationship to failure. "About the job thing for Jacob though.. I can say that if I had to move from a job I know I'm good at to something I don't know about I'd be uneasy about it myself. I .. don't know how much you know about him, but though he's been working the job only a few years now he'd taken it up because he enjoyed it as a teenager." Andrew had been a regular with the other man for a while now, even if it were for sex they did get to talking about themselves and the things they did. Ashley listened in return. Andrew had been patient enough to hear him out, now he would return the favour. He was nervous, what would the man say? His words made him blush, knowing that Andrew really did know more about Jacob than he did--in a way.
When Andrew finished, Ashley chewed on his lower lip. "I.. You're right. He's very good a massages. It wouldn't hurt to bring up the idea to Jacob to get into classes so he could be certified for the job. Maybe it would be something else he could enjoy doing for money--something that didn't involve sex. He pressed his lips tight together for a moment as he thought, watching Andrew as the man admitted his feelings for both him and Jacob--it caught him a little off guard. Andrew watched Ashley in silence, fidgeting in his place. When he spotted the easily read thoughts moving across Ashley's face a tinge had followed Ashley's blush, it had crossed his mind after he'd admitted to both of them that he held an interest in Jacob. By this time though he thought it too late, by now Jacob hates him for sure. Still though if he could talk to him.. maybe..
His cheeks turned another shade of pink as Ash listed out his wants mimicking many of his own by now and it hurt not to be able to give him what he wanted. He reached out instead gently taking his hand within his own hoping that it would ease both of them a bit without stepping over the line. Licking his lips he sighed a bit. "I.." Andrew began and shook his head clearing it up a bit. Looking up at Ashley he wished he could do something to ease the stress. "Can.. we go talk to Jacob? I.. know he wouldn't want to see me.. especially with you but.. I think it's got to be the best that can be done.." Andrew was nervous but he was trying not to be, he knew they should return to work after lunch.. but he didn't think he'd be able to work with everything still on his mind. |

Ashley had fallen asleep watching television near noon and Jacob had woke shortly after. By the time Ash walked into the studio apartment Jacob had walked out of the bathroom from a shower a towel wrapped loosely around the waist. Ashley's cheeks flushed as he realized Jacob was awake and approaching him in just a towel. "Probably not." He replied with a small smile, looking up at Jacob as he got close to him, leaning up to give him a brief kiss.
"But--uhm.. I think you should get dressed." He said softly, though he quite enjoyed seeing the man's mostly nude body. "So why don't you get dressed.. and I'll be right back..." His heart was racing so fast, he felt like he might faint if it kept it up like that. He gave Jacob another kiss, letting it linger for a moment this time before he'd pull away to retreat into the hall again if Jacob let him. |
Jacob smiled and kissed those sweet lips. His brows rose though as Ashley suggested he get dressed. Touching Ashley's arms lightly as he looked down the short distance between their heights into Ashley's eyes. "Mm.. is my body not as great as it once was?" He teased smiling down at the smaller man. Kissing him back once more with that sweet kiss curious about what Ashley was up to. "All right.. but are you alright?" He stepped away back to his bags to find them rather organized between styles of clothing. Shedding the towel he picked out pants and a t-shirt.

"You're body is as fine as ever." Ashley retorted, watching as Jacob wandered to the bags and stripped of his towel to get dressed, making Ashley blush a bit more. "Mmm, I'm fine. I'll be back in in a few minutes." He stated, slipping back out of the apartment and shutting the door behind him, his cheeks still flushed as he looked at Andrew.
"He's.. getting dressed right now. I think he'll appreciate us waiting a moment." He smiled a bit, obviously nervous, it made him feel a little unsettled after lunch, but he settled himself down as best as he could. After he felt Jacob would definitely be dressed, he slowly opened the door again, peeked in to make sure and then opened the door to slip in, leaving it open this time for Andrew to follow him. He wasn't sure what to say, pressing a hand gently over his chest s he felt his heart thrust against that ribcage, it was a bit surreal feeling to him, he'd never been so nervous in his life--not even when Andrew had forced himself on him back then. |
Andrew looked at the opening and closing door once more nerves keeping what would normally lead to a retort a silent sigh. He nodded some though allowing Jacob to have his dignity even if he'd seen him nude probably more than Ash had yet. He set a hand on Ashley's shoulder gently for a moment before the man turned to open the door and a moment after Ash stepped in Andrew took a breath and followed, closing the door behind him.
Jacob was combing through his hair with his fingers the strands that had settled out of place after pulling on his t-shirt. He looked at Ashley curiously when he'd returned from the hall once more, when he spotted the guest Ash had brought along made his face visibly fall into a frown with jaw muscles clenching as his eyes narrowed at Andrew. His gaze shifted to Ashley once more not quite looking much warmer than the look that Andrew had received, but not purposely so. "What's he doing here?" Jacob asked clenching his hands in fists. "You told me he was leaving you alone." "And I have been," Andrew said stepping forward, carefully locking his hands in his pockets to remain looking nonthreatening to Jacob or looking as if he might do anything to Ash. Suddenly anything he'd thought to say was lost to him, he was startled at the look Jacob had given him and he realized just how successful he'd been able to get Jacob to hate him, realizing now just why Ash had been so fearful. "We'd hoped to remain friends though.. but it's been brought to attention it might be harder than it sounds and wished to talk with you. Reasonably." Jacob glared at Andrew as he spoke but refrained speaking with him, rather to hear it from Ashley why his rapist had still wanted to be friends. |
Ashley let the silence settle momentarily after their brief exchange of words, swallowing the lump in his throat as he made himself look up at Jacob. "He's been leaving me alone... I'm the one who keeps bothering him." He licked his lips nervously, breathing out to try and keep himself from panicking. He was having trouble thinking f what to say t get his point across-this was sounding like he wanted ot call it off with Jacob and that wasn't what he wanted! Jacob stared at Ashley, the wrong resolve flashing through his mind as he stared at the two in the doorway. What was the kisses earlier then? Merely the last ones before Ash explained he changed his mind, that he hadn't wanted to remain with him any longer? His chin thrust stubbornly forward even as he looked away. "So.. you decided on Andrew instead of me.."
Andrew looked at Ashley realizing the younger man would have a problem with explaining what was needed, realizing already Jacob had misunderstood him because the beginning was cut off by lack of words. "It's not like that at all Jacob.." Andrew said without pausing after the glare he received from the man once more. He could tell Jacob truly cared for Ash and a sigh escaped him before he continued. "I mean.. he likes me yes, but as much as he likes you." Andrew took a breath his eloquent self rather lost, but he was still managing to speak calmly even if he didn't sound very intelligent at the moment. "I.. we came to talk to you because it's stressful for him and I do like him.. even you if you'd believe it." Ignoring the snort directed his way he pushed on. "We just can't ignore what we feel for each other, it'll turn out painful and well there is a solution if you're willing.." "Like what?" Jacob spat angered and hurt at the same time. Couldn't Ashley and him have a proper relationship without Andrew stepping in every few days. Ashley was somewhat thankful Andrew took over talking, he just couldn't do it, but he did pipe up when Jacob misunderstood. "N-no, I don't want to--" He blinked as Andrew spoke up for him, watching the men as they exchanged words.
He was so afraid they'd start fighting, even though Andrew said he'd try not to, but he'd understand if the man fought in self defense. After all, he ddn't want him to just step back and let Jacob beat the shit out of him if he lost his temper. Ashley was nervous, shoving his hands into his pockets so he wouldn't pick at his soft hands around the nails, standing relatively still as he listened to them, watched them. He could hear and see the pain Jacob felt, how he'd hurt him already and it made him want to back up and run away, leaning a little mre heavily on that crutch. He was glad that Jacob was jealous, and didn't want to give him up at all, bit it was hard when he wanted the man to share him in a way. He wanted to have both of them and for it to just all work out in a mutual, caring three way relationship, but maybe that was asking for way too much. Andrew had been his rapist, after all. When Andrew went after Jacob, Ashley was expecting the worst, for a big fight to break out, and he closed his eyes tight for a moment, expecting it, but nothing happened. I don't want you to... if it would make you unhappy--I uhm..' He flustered up--he couldn't make Jacob want this and he wouldn't pressure him into it, but... he wasn't sure what he'd do. Jacob visibly sagged as he stared at Andrew and then Ashley, wishing at some point they would admit it all being some cruel joke. Looking at Ashley though he knew it was no joke. He was upset knowing Ashley couldn't be happy with just him, and a part of him couldn't blame him.. He was surprised Ash hadn't given up on him at all either, not many would look at him for a steady relationship.
A hand reached out to touch Ashley's cheek but paused and dropped back down pulling away from Andrew as the man let him and stumbled to the futon to sit down. Running his fingers through still damp hair making it stick out at odd angles in parts. He should have figured he'd never have a normal relationship.. looking at Ash he knew the man would never be happy otherwise. "I.." Jacob began and looked back down. His life before Ashley had been so simple.. who knew it could turn into such a complicated thing? Andrew watched Jacob move to sit down, a hand moved to brush Ashley's shoulder silently beckoning the man to follow as he moved to sit down as well leaving a space for Ashley between him and Jacob. He could guess fairly accurately what might be crossing Jacob's mind and he couldn't not feel sorry for him. Licking his lips his eyes spotted the objects of sexual activity that had occurred between Ash and Jacob and looked away from them. "Like Ash says, you won't be forced to agree.. I know it's hard." Ashley watched Jacob stumble away to the futon and sit down, chewing on his lower lip nervously. He felt his stomach sink a bit as Jacob pushed hands through those wet strands, was he going to say no?
When Andrew beckoned him to go sit down, he did just that, sliding onto the futon and letting the metal crutch gently drop to the floor as he got the weight off of his casted leg. He felt like he was in the crossfire as Jacob glared angrily at Andrew when the man told him he wouldn't be forced. Jacob wasn't happy with this, he could tell, would this work out? Andrew remained silent this time leaving it to Ashley now that the man seemed to know how to handle it himself. Jacob wouldn't be grateful if he piped up now, it would be Ashley's turn to sooth him. Afterward they'd just have to work things out, either way.
"You wouldn't be truly happy otherwise.. you can't say that you would.." Jacob said, he'd read it clearly on Ashley's face just moments before. "If I can't make you happy.. what's the point?" His blue eyes looked at Ashley, the whites of his eyes tinged red in signs of an attempt to keep from tears appearing. Even with those words yet.. he didn't want to let go of Ashley. He'd learn to manage with Andrew.. remembering idly he'd once gotten along with the man rather well a little while ago. Ignoring Andrew though he scooped Ashley up into his lap an arm on either side of the younger man possessively, holding him close as he hid his face against Ashley's shoulder. Ashley looked away briefly as Jacob spoke, he felt horrible doing this to him, but he'd wanted this so badly, part of him hoped they could all work this out nicely. When Jacob scooped him up, Ashley gave a startled gasp, his cheeks flushed a nice pink colour, and he couldn't help but smile so softly.
Nuzzling into Jacob as he was held in his lap, Ashley gave a small sigh of relief, he'd been so nervous about this all, and it was still a little nerve wracking, but for now it was at least settled. Andrew watched them in silence frowning some at Jacob's acceptance only because it'd make Ash happy. The man had already given up a lot for Ash and now a normal relationship as well to add in Andrew as another lover that Ash had also fallen for. Looking at Jacob and how upset he was he gave a small sigh to himself, if things between him and Jacob remained the same he'd leave. He didn't want to lead a stress filled life with butting heads with Jacob along the way. He watched the possessiveness Jacob shown as he held Ash and knew if things worked out it would slowly dissipate or spread to Andrew as well. His eyes looked away at the kiss though, his own jealousies would also have to be worked through.
Jacob stroked his hands over Ashley's shirt clad back lightly, only further proof that he'd do anything for the smaller man. He forced a small smile on his lips as Ashley said thank you and moved to kiss him back, his eyes drifted part way closed as he did so his arms pulling Ashley closer almost in a gloating fashion as he made out with the younger man in front of Andrew. |
Ashley didn't expect things to be perfect right away--he wished Jacob wasn't doing it just for him, but maybe with time, things would change--hopefully for the better. He wanted his lover to be happy too, but he was glad Jacob was letting him be selfish.
The kiss was getting Ash all heated up, though he knew they needed to go back to work, but it was so nice to be held like that. Andrew looked up as he felt his sleeve rustle and then bunch into Ash's hand, he smiled meekly as he slowly slid closer to the two of them. Everything would have to be taken slow, Jacob needed to get used to that he'd be around. Resting a hand gently on Ashley's back he shifted a bit on the futon so he was facing both of them.
Jacob's eyes opened to look at Ashley, panting some himself. He wanted to draw Ashley's hand away from Andrew and move Ashley out of Andrew's reach as he looked at the man who drew closer and he knew was touching Ash's back. Gritting his teeth he ignored the urges to pull Ashley away and kick Andrew out. His eyes focused on the collar and he gave a sigh. "How's it going to work with the Lifestyle?" Ashley let Jacob try to explain Alex to Andrew, stroking his fingers through Jacob's hair again. "Alex is pretty traumatized. He won't go out unless he has to and he's very untrusting, but he's been jumped so many times... I don't think anyone can blame him. But.. he's quite terrified of you--if he woke up while you were here, well... I'm pretty sure it'd be quite a mess. I don't know if I talked to him... if it would help. " He made a face--that wasn't a job he wanted, but Jacob couldn't very well do it, and he'd rather give Alex an explanation, a warning before he woke up and saw Andrew laying there or just leaving, but he didn't want to have to kick Andrew out whenever Jacob got tired either!

Andrew sat there in silence for a moment, when Ash had brought .. Alex to work and he'd viewed him as Jacob he thought the man was kidding or something. Part of him still thought it was a joke but he could tell by how serious each of them was that it was the truth. Jacob listened to Ashley explain Alex to Andrew, his eyes drifted shut as Ashley finger combed his still damp hair a small smile on his lips as he did so. His blue eyes peeked open in time to notice Andrew was growing paler and looked almost guilty once more. He hadn't thought the knowledge that he'd unwittingly raped another would be such shocking news. Biting his lip briefly he sat up properly once more to look at Andrew properly. |
