Your art has always and will always be amazing not just the drawing with the anatomy but how you color also simply wonderful<33 |
Aw, thank you Ese :heart: :hug:
Platinum // The second image is really small, but those links are not it either. >>;;
Well, it's okay. ^^ |
Was it a little girl in a blue dress? XD *still fails*
I'm just here to comment. Truly amazing I love the technique and detail, especially in the face :D
Thank you very much~ The face is fun to do >w<
Platinum // Blue? Maybe.... Argh, no I fail for not remembering it. :gonk:
Nope not it either. I'm just gonna take a look at your DA gallery now.... :rofl:
LOL Okay. I might or might not have deleted what you're looking for. I like cleaning out my gallery >_>
Hmm, I give up. Maybe it was the art in your current sig all along. @[email protected];; The girl on the front page.. :3 I just don't remember the color red with the picture and the motion from her pose...
OH TUTORIALS! I have to take a look. -^o^- |
Haha, I only have two >w<;
The tutorials in my favorites section are better XD |
I think I know how to seperate lineart already, but I skimmed that tutorial anyway.
I really like your eye tutorial! It looks like something I can handle and your eyestyle is pretty. :heart: I'll look at your favorites too. XDD EDIT: I don't really use DA because it was really slow on my computer before... I just read your post about your style. I'm with you there, still uncertain about my drawing style and looking for a distinct, consistent look. |
Haha, thanks~ My eye style's changed quite a bit, though. If you look at the tutorial and compare it to the close-up, it's pretty different. I don't even touch the dodge tool anymore XD
Heh I see the girl on in your signature has a different eye style from the one in the tutorial.
You have a lot of tutorials in your favorites. o w o;;; -adds to bookmarks- I'll have to save them for another time. |
I do~ It helps me improve when I have a lot of reference >w<
Yeah, I bet DA is very resourceful. It gets a bit overwhelming looking at all those tutorials though. I want to jump on everything and learn it asap. XP
Me too! It doesn't help when I find more DX
:lol: Yup. XD I might start drawing again; I neglected it during the holidays. >w<
Okay, I'm gonna wander away to my lunch/tetris. X'D See you! |
It's gorgeous, especially the skin. :o i plan on looking for a tutorial to learn how to paint skin similarly to that. thing about the technique is, outside of dodge and burn (first method), i've been trying to master the classic photoshop hard-edge technique, and i think i've been doing pretty well. I tend to look at other people's work to see if i could find a cool look though, when good tutorials are hard to find. now i've been trying to get my hands on painter (money :gonk:, well, not like photoshop, but i have a connection from my dad's office), and learnng to use that technique for a smoother creamier, more realistic, sometimes painterly effect. needless to say, it's very hard. i love how you did yours though, especially the way the nose turned out, and nice lips. the saturated colors are really great, and i also like how it's pretty much in proportion.
Thank you very much, miss Coquette!
I tend to skim over tutorials but not follow them word for word, reason being, they hinder creativity to some extent. However, I try to follow closely the first time, just to see if there are tools that I can use in my own way. I will actually be uploading something today that I doodled. It is a great experimentation of saturated colors that could not really count as anything more than an experiment. I quite like it though. In the experimental piece, I used only one layer, and found it interesting. I wish you luck in your endeavors. |
