Username: _~Link~_

Character: Link

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Looks: (He looks like this: [Link], yet he hides the wounds that killed his body under his shirt. He has hardly any blood left but it occasionally bleeds out his wound causing extreme agony for him. The wound exposes his ribs and right lung.)

Race: Hylian, or half-dead Hylian.

Class: He has separated himself from his home land and faded from memory, no one is sure what to call him now. All he does is save those in trouble from evil with his life long skills and disappears without a trace. All you hear of his existence is the people he save's stories. He no longer considers himself the "Hero of Time" he was once called.

Family: The only thing close to family for him now is his best friend Midna, who has been with him ever since his "death." She helps him only in battle or to stop his wound from bleeding what little blood he has left out with her magic.

Background: Everyone knew the story of his adventure, but no one knows what truly happened to him. In a battle to save his homeland he was stabbed and killed saving his friends and fellow people. Thanks to the Triforce of Courage, he was kept in the world of the living, yet his body began to decay. His organs turned black and shut down but he can live without eating, drinking... or breathing. Hes doomed to wander the earth as a living corpse until the next hero is found, only then will the Triforce leave him. Its both a blessing and a curse.

Username: MORBiDUS
Character name: Seh'ethil Garimilque (Going by 'Seh'ethil' only, and not his full name.)
Race: Dark elf
Age: Nineteen
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Skin tone - He has light purple skin, almost a blue violet.
Hair - Seh'ethil has long, off-white hair. It's a bit above shoulder length, quite layered and piecey. However, the rest is tied into two long extentions that lead down just above the starting of his stomach. The back is similar to that of a short mullet.
Eyes - His eyes are completely blacked out, save the iris, which is instead a near glowing white. (similar to this)
Face - Slightly narrow face, square jaw. Otherwise 'delicate' features. Thin eyebrows.
- Long, pointed ears. They have a slight, very light purple fur trimming on them.
Body type - Very slim, slender.
Outfit - He's wearing something like this. He also carries around a beat up leather sack, slung around his shoulder/back, mostly for his arrows.
Weapondry: His weapon of choice is a bow, with very decorative feathers adorning it, and custom made arrows.
Bio: Seh'ethil has long since left his place of birth, as it has been much war plagued in the past - and after threat of it happening again, not many of his fellow villagers stuck around either. His main goal is simply to wander and survive, however, more exciting adventure has always been something of interest to him. He doesn't have much care for left behind or possible relatives.

(( I hope this works ))

A small twig snapped underneath the step of a young elf, who was swiftly concealing himself behind the trunk of a heavy tree. He'd been running hard, heavy pants left his mouth as air fled to and from his lungs, stinging his chest. A bow was dangling haphazardly from his finger tips. It wasn't long before the dirt beneath him vibrated with the roaring presence of his pursuer, and he was off again.

This elf's name was Seh'ethil, and even the screech of the fleeing birds in the tree tops above him couldn't block out the horrifying rumble that stalked him. The young elf had upset a rather gruesome minotaur, and one more unusual than those he'd previously heard of. It's peculiarity was, well, that it appeared to be dead.

Nearly running into a mossy wall as he hit a rather unfortunate dead end, Seh'ethil was forced to turn sharply on his heels and face his rage filled opponent. There were those few seconds of absolute terror before the beast was to round a sharp corner and charge into sight. In those few seconds, Seh'ethil readied his bow. He was a good aim, yet, sometimes aim didn't make the difference - this creature appeared as though as it could take many blows before being fallen.

The minotaur finally came into the elf's view, it's rotten stench painfully filling his nostrils. The beast was over twice Seh'ethil's size - that was, however, not the most threatening thing about it. Blood matted it's almost green fur, specifically around its backside, where, around it's waist area, had been cut off, leaving only skeleton and left over gut to drag behind it. This was perhaps the only thing making it slow enough to have earlier given the elf a heads start in running, and thats all that had kept it from previously trampling him. Blood oozed from a wound in one of its still remaining limbs, where one of Seh'ethil's arrows had earlier landed a blow. Parts of broken tree laid stuck in the monster's spine, from the forest it had rampaged after the elf through.

Surprisingly, instead of charging and smashing into the young elf, as he would have predicted the minotaur to have done, it stopped shortly before him. Hot breath escaped its large nostrils, its hooves scraping against the forest floor as it lowered its head. Seth'ethil took the opportunity to pull back on the string of his bow, and let the already charged arrow fly towards the animal. The elf had certainly hit his target, but hadn't received the results he'd hoped for. The arrow stuck up out of the minotaurs snout, now only enraging it more.

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 02:16 AM

Link was nearby when he heard all the commotion, his ears shook to the sound of the beast's every breath. He decided to delay his journey for a little bit to help, grabbing his two sharp daggers he raced into action with his cloak flowing in the wind. His speed was impressive, and he caught up to them both quickly, He threw one of his daggers and it sliced the beast's face. His weapon ricocheted off a nearby rock back toward him and he caught it by its handle. The beast turned and faced him, snarling and only growing more angry. Link's face was covered with a black handkerchief, all you could see of his face were his pail blue eyes, but he scoffed at the monster. He flung it's blood off the dagger blade, "hope you don't mind if I join in on the fun" he said with a sort of smug attitude behind his words.

The beast lunged toward him with its claws and fangs apparent, he jumped, kicking it in the back of the head. Using the beast's body he pushed himself into the air with his legs and landed on his feet next to Seh'ethil. He put his daggers back on his side belt and hooked them in place so they wouldn't fall, he grabbed the sword attached to the other side of his belt and got ready to fight. "Well, get an arrow ready!" He said to Seh'ethil, "I can't do this alone."

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 02:33 AM

Seh'ethil stood dazed, stuck in parshal awe. Despite that he hadn't yet fully processed what all had just taken place, he readied his bow as requested, nodding his head strongly. Before the boar like animal had finished its heavy turn to once again face both Seh'ethil and its new advisory, Link, the elf had let lose the pulled back string, allowing the projectile to fly deep into the back of the minotaur's neck. Still, the beast shook it off, snarling at the two, driven by its seething anger.

"How is it still alive?" He asked, already having pulled another two arrows into place and fired them, one landing a shot at one of the beast's glinting eyes, the other missing narrowly. Now probably wasn't the best time for questions, but Seh'ethil couldn't help his curiosity of it, even in such immediate danger. He was already pulling from his back another arrow, to make up for his slow reactions on the other man's arrival.

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 02:46 AM

Link darted off like a rocket, almost invisible to the monster and he stood in front of its face, "hey ugly, think fast!" He rose his sword and swung it down fast, the beast's left arm fell to the ground, it let out a roar as blood stained the once green grass. The beast swung its other arm at him and he just missed, but Link grabbed it by the forearm, using his elbow he broke the beast's arm, without so much as a flinch or change of expression in his own face. The beast swaggered back, roaring in pain, yet even armless it was still determined to fight them.

"This guy doesn't know when to quit" said Link, jumping back, letting the blood slide off his sword's blade.

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 03:01 AM

Seh'ethil smiled lightly. Even with the minotaurs determination, it appeared as if the battle was guaranteed to their win. The odds had turned, to say the least. The elf had quickly prepared and shot a handful of arrows, three piercing the minotaurs chest, and then a fourth right in its skull. It seemed as if what had previously been seen by Seh'ethil as a near invincible creature was finally meeting its inevitable end. The minotaur appeared now unable to support itself, especially with Link having disabled its arms. Despite everything, the elf did feel a little bit sorry for it, and would have finished the creature off had he known how; even after being near butchered it was still growling, its nauseating eyes -- or the one it had left, staring at them.

Seh'ethil took a cautious few side steps forward, still aiming his arrow at the minotaur, afraid it might somehow find a way to once again get up and attack. Yet, he was still put at a sort of ease, realizing how easy its demise had been with Link's help. "You should finish it..."

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 03:09 AM

He looked at the monster, then to Seh'ethil, without saying a word he ran toward the monster and stabbed it in the stomach, it went all the way out the back of his body right through the spine. It died quickly and he kicked it's body off his blade, it landed with a loud thud to the ground. He flung the blood off his blade and it hit the rock that his dagger flew off of, he threw the sword in the air and it landed back in its sheath perfectly.

"A bittersweet victory... I'll say," he began to walk back to where he was at before the fight.

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 03:25 AM

Seh'ethil was, to say the very least, impressed. It wasn't often one came across someone with such skills, and his gratitude to Link for basically saving him only added to his admiration. One might have thought it appropriate to offer thanks at this point, but such wasn't something the young elf was accustom to. Disarming his bow and putting the arrow back in its bag, as well as the bow around his back and chest, Seh'ethil stepped up to Link. But the elf was puzzled as he started to walk away, and couldn't help but run after him.

"That was quite a display," He said, commenting on how Link fought as he jogged to catch up. "Who might I owe it to?" The elf said, asking Link's name. He wasn't about to wait for him to stop walking before continuing on, and proceeded by introducing himself, "I'm Seh'ethil..."

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 03:31 AM

He stopped, silent for a little bit, he lowered the handkerchief covering his face, "the name is Link..." he continued walking. He was puzzled by Seh'ethil, usually everyone hes come across runs from him, though he seemed strange Link began to grow respect for his newfound friend.

"By the way... why are you following me?" He asked Seh'ethil.

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 03:40 AM

The elf was quite intrigued, but also slightly thrown off. He gave a quiet nod of the head as Link responded to him, but didn't leave it at that. As Link continued to walk on, so did Seh'ethil continue with him, and he went on following like that in silence for a fair while. The elf didn't have an answer to Link's question, and so he failed to respond to it. Even he wasn't so sure why he was following.

Seh'ethil wasn't aware of what else to say, and so simple questions came to mind. He pondered for a bit on whether he should ask about where Link was from, or where he was headed, but seeing as the first may have been too personal, the elf decided to start off with the latter. "If you don't mind my asking, where is it that you're going?"

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 03:54 AM

"I have no set destination, you could say that I'm... eternally traveling. Its been 2 years since I began roaming the planet, without so much as a minute of sleep or thing to eat. Something no ordinary living being can do."

He looked at Seh'ethil with a curious look, "what about you? Where are you going by chance?"

(Lol, sorry, I just had to work in the title, I think its a kinda silly idea but I did it anyway.)

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 04:15 AM

(( Haha, don't be sorry. It's quite a neat choice of words. ))

Seh'ethil raised an eyebrow at him, wondering if he had heard Link correctly. To have wandered the Earth without so much as a minute of sleep or thing to eat, as Link had said, was certainly a miraculous feat. Which only brought further question to the elf's mind as he wondered what Link had meant of himself being an unordinary being, having to bite his tongue to refrain from asking about it, just yet.

"You could say I'm a wanderer myself..." Seh'ethil explained, turning his head away as he continued, "But I think I'm going where ever you are."

Before the young elf could be rejected this priviladge, he quickly changed subject. "What do you mean when you say 'something no ordinary being could do'? What does that make you, Link?"
Seth'ethil realized the general remark to this might have simply been, 'an unordinary being,' but he hoped such a response wouldn't be the answer, and he might recieve a more detailed one.

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 04:43 AM

He stopped for a second again and sighed, "if you really wish to know... then I'll tell you" He sat down on a nearby rock to rest his feet and tell his tale.

"2 Years ago, I was in a great battle to save my home land and even the whole planet from certain doom, from my enemy, Ganon. We were both blessed with a might power..." He held up his left hand and removed his glove, the Triforce was imprinted in his pale skin, it began to glow and then it faded out. He put back on his glove. "In the battle I managed to kill Ganon, but not without a mighty cost, before his death his stabbed me in the chest. Right in my heart.
Ganon's power was taken from him by the ones who created the Triforce, and that power has helped me live this long today.

I awoke a day later after the battle, my blood was all over the ground leaving me pale like this, but I still have a little. You don't want to hear anything else after that, trust me. I've separated myself from my friends and my own land because of the way I am now. Sometimes I wonder if my name has ever been mentioned there at all over the years. It hurt me to leave but I just had to... I can never show my face there again."

A tear fell down his cheek, "Zelda... my best friend, I couldn't bear to see her reaction to me so I left without a good bye." He began to grow angry, his hands turned into fists. "I'm doomed to wander forever... all because of that fight!" He growled and let out his anger on a nearby tree, a single punch sent it flying backwards. It hit and knocked down other trees in its path. He calmed down a little bit, "I'm sorry you had to see that Seh'ethil, I just hate talking about the past."

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 05:05 AM

Listening intently as Link began his story, Seh'ethil took a crosslegged seat on the soft forest floor that rest underneath them. It was all quite a lot to take in at once, and even slightly hard to believe, but with the amount of emotion Link showed to be trying to hold back, the elf knew the tale to be sincere. Seh'ethil held his tongue as he listened, refraining from voicing his opinion, even when he wanted to reassure Link that it wasn't too late to go back. It was hard not to ask more about it, there seemed to be so many details to know.

The young elf jumped slightly as Link's fist plowed through the tree, but otherwise dismissed it. He couldn't relate or fully understand what Link had been through, but Seh'ethil did sympathize to this new aquintance's sad story. Even with this, though, he couldn't help but admire Link, especially if he truely was the great hero he told himself to be.

"That's really unfortunate, Link," Seh'ethil said, wanting to apologize for asking about it. He hadn't known better, however, so the elf wouldn't dwell on his mistake of questioning it. A soft smile formed on his lips as he said, "Don't get me wrong on this, but maybe what you need is just to not be so alone..."

Seh'ethil had already invited himself to tag along, and stood up slowly so that they might continue on. Although the young elf did have fair stamina, he did worry about how he could keep up with Link, for unlike him, Seh'ethil did need to eat and sleep, and was by no means on the immortal level he was.

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 05:23 AM

"I'm not alone, I never have been... Midna, reveal yourself!" Link's shadow flew off the ground and it took the form of a small imp creature, she floated in front of Seh'ethil's face.

"Hello there!" She said with a smile, "hey Link," she flew over and whispered into Link's ear "who's your new friend?"

"Ask him and you'll know," he said out loud.

"Well! Aren't we grumpy today?" She giggled and flew back over to Seh'ethil. "My name is Midna, nice to meet you Mr...?"

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 05:36 AM

Seh'ethil was slightly taken aback by the imp's appearance, taking a few staggered steps backwards as she approached him. It wasn't that the elf had never seen an imp before, but never one of Midna's type, and it was a slight surprise to realize Link had this traveling companion all along.

"Seh'ethil Garimilque," He replied, making a very small bowing gesture. It was interesting to see an imp with such an seemingly outgoing nature, especially with someone like Link, who at the moment seemed a bit more antisocial. "Pleasure meeting you?"

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 05:56 AM

"Nice name! You seem nicer than Link, hes never been the same since that dreadful day. But no matter what happens to him I'll always stay by his side."

All of a sudden Link began to hold his chest, he was in great pain, it was so awful that he fell to his knees and began to sweat, "Midna... please, help me."

She flew over to his side and grabbed his hand, she helped him sit down on a rock and she unbuttoned his shirt. The fatal wound on his chest began to bleed, the blood was black and thin. His ribs and his right lung were in plain sight but it didn't seem to disgust her at all. Her hands hovered over the wound and they began to glow a bright orange light. After a minute or too the wound stopped bleeding and the magic faded away.

"Damn it... I'm sorry to put you through this Midna, I just wonder when this will stop and heal up. Its driving me mad." He looked at Seh'ethil and looked away, feeling a bit embarrassed. "To think someone as strong as me can be reduced to such a weak spirit so easily. Eh Seh'ethil?" He chuckled weakly.

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 06:24 AM

Midna's friendliness plastered a kind smile across Seh'ethil's face, her dedication and loyalty to Link was also rather heart warming. All of this was further impacted as Midna did what the elf could best take in as saving Link, however, in a much less warming tone. His smile was quick to dissipate, reform into a worried grimace.

All Seh'ethil felt he could do in the situation was watch, and take in. Although he barely knew either Link or Midna, he felt scared, almost for them both, despite that Link was clearly the one in pain. It didn't take long to clue in what was going on, even if the elven archer was still a bit bewildered by the entire event.

As Midna revealed Link's chest wound - the source of his pain, the elf put two and two together with Link's previous told tale. Seh'ethil felt it would have been politer to look away from the gruesome scene, but he couldn't find it in him to avert his gaze. He was interested in Midna's powers, and how she managed to so swiftly stop the bleeding. This brought up the question of why Link had been weakened to the point of nearly losing the remaining blood he had, but Seh'ethil didn't ask.

Although the elf was all too familiar with gore, he still felt a bit disturbed by the happening - perhaps simply because someone he viewed as so mighty had such a weak spot. Or maybe because of how lightly they treated it, and how it sounded as if it was a common occurance.

Seh'ethil's eyes darted to the ground, then back up at Link as he spoke. "It's hard to believe..." he commented, but it didn't make the elf think any less of him. After waiting a few seconds to let the tension settle, Seh'ethil brushed some leaves and twigs into a small pile with his foot. He assumed Link would need some time to rest, and the elf wouldn't mind the break himself.

"Do you and Midna settle down ever, Link?" Seh'ethil asked. It felt slightly off topic yet relevant at the same time, considering earlier the young elf had wondered if he'd have time to rest ever - something he thought Link, being immortal as he explained, did not do.

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 06:40 AM

"If you're worried about my wound acting up, don't be, it just does it at random times, I have no idea what causes it. This wound has been like this ever since my death and revival 2 years ago, no matter how much medical attention I get, it never heals." When he regained his strength he buttoned his shirt back up and stood up.

"The last time we rested was about a week ago, there have been a surprising amount of monsters around wherever we go. Theres no time to rest. However... since you're here, we may end up taking a break for the first time in a while, just depends on when you get tired." The sun was starting to set in the distance, birds and animals were starting to get ready to sleep for the night.

"Perhaps we should rest now, my sight may be legendary but I don't have night vision." He looked over at all the fallen trees he knocked down, he than walked over with his sword drawn and began chopping them for some wood. "I'll make the fire while you can gather some bedding material, sound good Seh'ethil?"

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 07:06 AM

Seh'ethil took into mind what Link had said about his wound, yet even with the attempted reassurance the elf still felt a tinge of worry for him. Seh'ethil didn't mean to watch Link, but his eyes seemed to follow him as he moved and spoke, not breaking the unintentional stare until Link mentioned 'night vision.'

"Maybe I'll be of minor help to you then," The elf smiled. Especially since Link seemed to be setting new conditions for Seh'ethil, like this unexpected rest in what he saw as a otherwise busy schedule, the elf felt as though he may be getting in the way. "I see a bit better in the dark than by day," he mentioned, the silver of his eyes glowing less softly as night fall came. It was both a common trait and ability in the elven race he belonged to. Unfortunately, the young elf wasn't gifted with much else in terms of kindly genetics, and unlike many of his brethren, his eyes weren't so well trained. But, it was better than nothing.

Seh'ethil nodded at Link's suggestion, glad to do such a simple task, and leaving a silent thanks towards him for leaving him to the easier of the two. As he got to it, Seh'ethil located some distant pine tree, taking looser and smaller branches as well as main ones, and stray leaves from other tree types. Placing and proportioning the collective material accordingly, the elf began to set together beds. Teamed with the soft dirt of the forest floor, Seh'ethil assumed the bedding would prove itself comfortable enough. "What are you going do, if you don't sleep?"

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 07:32 AM

"I usually keep watch, also the sky out in the wild is too beautiful to miss while sleeping." Once he set up a good area for the fire he took his two daggers and scraped one against the other, sending sparks over the dry grass and wood. It ignited almost instantly, and he laid down on his own bed to get comfortable, "thanks Seh'ethil, this is quite comfy."

Stars slowly appeared and the moon was extremely bright and close, owls could be heard out in the distance, but all of a sudden, it got quite. All you could hear was the wind and the sound of the fire crackling, it began to concern Link. Quietly he stood up and hopped into the tallest tree nearby to take a look at the surroundings, thanks to the light of the moon his vision was clear and he could see anything. Soon he heard the sounds of wolves panting and twigs snapping underneath their paws.

"Ugh... when will there ever be a day of peace?" He hopped out of the tree and hid in some nearby bushes, after a little while a wolf with pale blue fur and the same eyes as Link went running toward the upcoming wolf pack. Midna was riding it on top of its back.

"Come on Seh'ethil! Some serious danger is headed our way! Don't go to sleep yet!" Midna shouted, she grew more silent the faster Link ran. She was focused on just trying to not fall off.

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 06:34 PM

((Sorry about disappearing last night! My computer ended up dying on me... how ironic. D< ))

Seh'ethil, taking Link's response to mind, peered up through the tree tops and out at the sky from his grassy bed. It was indeed beautiful, and growing moreso as time passed. His sack of arrows and bow had been sprawled out beside him, leaving him to relax. The gentle hoots of owls and the comforting warmth of the fire had nearly lulled the elf to sleep; that is, before all the commotion tore him from his dreams.

In his groggily state Seh'ethil had been a lot less wary of the growing silence, but as he heard Midna's warning he realized what had been so wrong about it. His eyes followed Midna's voice and the young elf was able to catch a glimpse of the blue wolf she had been riding - but none of Link. Of course, the warning of danger gave him no chance to really wonder about these things. It took no less than a heartbeat for Seh'ethil to jump from his bedded place on the forest floor, snatching up his things from it as he did.

The night seemed so much cooler as the elven archer strayed from the fire, running after Midna with his bow in hand. If it weren't for the otherwise silent night, they would have been much harder to follow.

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 06:57 PM

(Thats fine, I was planning to go to sleep right at the moment you got kicked off anyway, lol)

Link could hear the wolves getting closer, and pretty soon, he was in full view of them. They were white wolves, they stopped at the sight of Link in their path. "Hey! Who's the new wolf on the block?!" One growled, "I dunno but that thing on its back looks like it'd be a pretty gross snack." Barked another, only Link could understand their language so Midna was left puzzled. "If you're looking for food, go someplace else, this is MY territory." Link snarled, but the wolves didn't leave, they got ready to attack him.

"Your territory?! This is the land of our leader, Maseinko, this is his forest, hes the boss around here! YOU get out of the way or he'll kill you!" Howled the dominant female, she was out trying to hunt with some of her pups and older children. "Bring him here and we'll see who's the boss, hes nothing but a weakling." She growled and began to howl, soon her offspring joined in, their howls echoed all through the forest and being so close made it ear piercingly loud. A gigantic gray wolf with three tails began running towards them, it had red eyes and blood stained claws, but Link saw something no one else did, an evil aura.

Despite their size difference Link got ready to fight, "you are a danger to this whole forest, therefore, you must perish, evil being!" The white wolves got ready to attack but Link grew dark and in a burst of dark, square shaped shards he turned back to his normal form, shocking the wolves. The gray wolf began to charge at him, but he quickly grabbed a dagger and using his left hand, the Triforce's power entered the dagger blade. Quickly he shoved the sword into the Wolf's skull but it went through his flesh and bone with no damage. The wolf stopped its rampage and stood there, as if dazed, using his free hand he grabbed the dark spirit that left its body.

"Here Seh'ethil, use this arrow and kill the spirit!" He pulled the dagger out of the wolf's skull and it passed out on the ground, his pack gathered around him whimpering. Link tossed a special arrow toward Seh'ethil, a light arrow, which killed anything evil with a burst of light magic.

MORBiDUS 12-22-2008 07:30 PM

Seh'ethil had heard the gruesome howls before seeing the wolves' muzzles in which they sourced from. As he caught up, the puzzle of where Link had gone now made sense to the young elf, having arrived just in time to see the blue wolf's transformation. Link seemed to have many talents, but equal as many mysteries to add to them.

The elven archer hadn't had time to question any of the event before what appeared to be the leader of their pack flew out towards Link. Seh'ethil, not sure if he had anything to be surprised about anymore, watched Link stab the animal right through the skull, only to see no damage done. It was, indeed, a bit odd. Yet, without full comprehension of the situation, he followed Link's orders.

"Right!" He replied, catching the arrow that'd been tossed towards him. Before hand, the elf had already readied and aimed a normal arrow from his quiver, which he quickly let drop in order to set the one Link had given him. Pulling back on the string of his bow, Seh'ethil let the light arrow go, aiming directly at the dark spirit Link was vanquishing.

As the arrow shot, a bright aura of light surrounded its tip, headed straight at the evil spirit. The light from the arrow had momentarily blinded Seh'ethil's night vision, rendering him momentarily unable to watch; but as he heard an hiss followed closely with an unearthly screech, he assumed the light arrow had worked in dispelling the spirit.

_~Link~_ 12-22-2008 08:00 PM

The spirit practically popped because of the light arrow, the now dull and gray arrow fell to the ground and seemed to fade away. "Nice job Seh'ethil, you killed it!" He walked over and gave him a pat on the back, "you alright?" He asked him.

Maseinko soon woke up, the red in his eyes turned to a bright yellow and he tried his best to get up. He couldn't remember a thing that happened and his vision was blurry, when it recovered he noticed Link and Seh'ethil. He growled and pounced at them with his mouth open, ready to eat them both. Link noticed him and he grabbed his sword, he turned it sideways and used it to push Maseinko back, the wolf had tremendous power, even for him and it kept getting harder to hold him back. "Ma...seinko, please stop! Don't make me... do something I'll... regret!"

Maseinko kept coming, only growing more ferocious and hungry, his jaws cracked the sword's blade a little bit. As if finding super human strength Link began to push Maseinko back, he started running, he pushed him a great distance and pulled his sword out of the wolf's mouth, damaging his upper jaw and tounge. The pain made him run away, leaving blood behind him, his pack ran after him, they didn't feel very hungry anymore. Link was exhausted, he fell down on one knee and looked at his blade, it seemed repairable. He'd need to go to a blacksmith to get it fixed.

"Seh'ethil, get some sleep, the danger has passed, in the morning we're gonna go to the small town just over the mountains." He put his sword back in its sheath and started walking back to the campsite.
