Accidently Disappear
Have you ever gone on a website for a while, then just... forget about it? That's what I did with Menewsha, and after a year and a few attempts at trying to remember my password, I'm back. Probably not for long, I'm sure I'll forget again, lol. Have you ever done that? |
Yes. There is this one little website I loved going on but I forgot the name of it after I got my new computer.

I've done that before. I'll make an account on a site, go on for awhile, but then just completely forget about it. XD

I have that alot with other websites like these, but not Menewsha.
Menewsha is to me a daily visit. I have sometimes that when I find out something new, I dissapear for a week from the stuff I daily visit. |
Yeah sorta.
Then again, I may just stop going for no reason. Sometimes I stop going because of a mean person harassing me. Sometimes I simply have nothing to use it for and sometimes I 've lost interest. I no longer viist the rodent forums much because I quit for instance. Only to work on selling my rodent stuff now. |
Yeah, quite a lot actually.
Currently I'm ignoring about three avatar sites I should be posting on because they're really fun. But others like Menewsha are just more interesting at the moment. :3 Though currently there are two that I go on like clock work. Here and another one I love so much. |
As of now I'm only on Menewsha while I'm registered on probably four or five other avatar sites. It's pretty sad considering that I always go back to see that the site has had a bunch of awesome events/items since I left. ;_;

I skipped out on Menewsha for quite a while, actually.
When my computer died, I lost all my saved passwords, and this one I didn't have memorized. I only recovered my account yesterday. xD |
im terrible for that, but then i also and good for being like "oh i haven't been there for 4 years"
and going back to it. but that is mainly with comics and then it is fun to read like 50 pages in one sitting. doing it daily is kinda harsh sometimes. and when its monthly i do have a tendency to forget about checking in or it. this month i have been pretty bad for neglecting the other sites i visit, but they are all mostly on hiatus until mid January for the holidays. |
Yes, Id o that a lot and it annoys me when I want to go back to the site and can't remember what it was called.

I did that for this site as well. I'm also on neopets (hey, I have a 10yo and she digs the site - we get to chat there) and gaia. Glad you made it back!

I do that way too often, but that's due to forgetting the url or being preoccupied with other sites.

Ummm...yeah I do that a lot. I did it to this site sort of.
But I'm actually really prone to leaving here, not like permanently. I will post in someone's thread, and just find something else to do irl and get caught up with that, then not post in their thread again. |
Eventually I do that with all websites. One managed to hold my attention daily for a few years though and I still giggle about all the funny stuff I read there.
The really good ones I always come back to eventually, though. |
Oh boy, losing bookmarks is horrible thing. My laptop died a few months back, I still haven't recovered. Next time I'm storing bookmarks somewhere.

I've just started on these type of sites. The interesting thing that I've noticed with this one is that there don't appear to be a lot of people on it on any given day.
Is there someplace that it says how many folks are online? |
To Jeannesha Yep! Just below all the forum buttons and do dads on the forum index, there's a list of everyone online. XDD It's underneath 'forum statistics' There is now 184 members online! Nowai! :'D |

Seems like such a small number. I was just on Gaia, and there were over 73,000 people online. Menewsha must be a newer online community? So far, the people here seem to be very, very nice. I've enjoyed being on the forums. |
Because it is a small number! :'D I dunno, mene is like... 2 years old I think. XD I dunno if you'd consider that newer. That's always a good thing! :'D |
Had a couple of times I didn't have internet for a while, and of course I simply forgot a lot of communities I was a member of at that time (Mene being one of them :roll:). And sometimes it happens when I'm under too much stress and simply don't have time.
(Barely ever leave because of people misbehaving, and only once because of owners becoming arseopenings :stare:) |
