I would love pizza or a Frito pie.

With some of my mom's chocolate oatmeal cookie/candy things for dessert.

Guivre 03-11-2009 08:02 PM

Oh wow frito pie. D= I really have to stop littering this thread up with my amazement at the deliciousness, but it's so hard to try ...

My stomach hurts but at the moment I'm in the mood for Chinese. I'm probably going to a Chinese buffet with my sister and mom, mm, Chinese food. xD

Noriko Sutoraifu 03-11-2009 10:26 PM

Ninja ;; I could SO go for a Chinese buffet right now. D:

Aside from that, I want Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Not really a dinner, but I've been wanting them for the past three days. ;w;

And omfg cheesecake. @[email protected]

Damn, I'm more hungry now... D:

.Jazzed 03-11-2009 11:59 PM

Hmm, I'm craving dimsum right now... but what I'm really going to have, and I think will be just as good will be a teriaky veggie stir-fry with a salad (tomato, cucumber, onion, avocado, carrot, lettuce, cheese) and hmm either potatoes, rise, or pasta (I haven't decided yet... what do you think would be best?)

adorably_evil 03-12-2009 12:55 AM

I want whatever my mom is making cause it smells good =) I think it's grilled chicken and some kind of rice.

WTFranki 03-12-2009 01:34 AM

Coffee icee.

pachi 03-12-2009 04:00 AM

my suppers usually consists of leftovers from lunch or things i/my mother toss together. rice, noodles, generic asian food. xD

lunches are my main meals. :D

Jeannesha 03-12-2009 09:58 PM

Mmmm... tonight is home-made chili by chez-hubbie.
We'll have cheese and crackers with it.

Kukon 03-12-2009 10:34 PM

I ate a simple turkey and cheese sandwich.

Michy Lea 03-13-2009 09:46 PM

I'm craving one of those KFC Famous Bowls things with the mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, chicken strips, and cheese all in one bowl.

However, we're having pork roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn. So, almost it, kind of.

SO can I on the Chinese Buffet. I LOVE those places.

Guivre 03-13-2009 10:28 PM

I used to go to the one near me for lunch a couple times a week until it closed. I think they enjoyed seeing the sucker who would have soup, squid, rice, a drink and a couple of coconut sweets for $8.

I had pizza bread for lunch. I would really love some good chicken soup for dinner but I'll settle for something salty.

Sher 03-13-2009 10:50 PM

French fries. D:

kokoso 03-14-2009 01:07 AM

I want a nice big juicy steak with thyme and wine butter melted on top and garlic mashed potatoes but what I wound up making was vegan chili and sweet corn bread with honey butter.
My mom didn't want steak.
D=

In case you didn't guess, I do all the cooking at my house.
I'm a bit of a food nerd.
xD

Guivre 03-14-2009 04:21 PM

Being a foodie is a good thing, kokoso! D=

Vegan chili sounds pretty good, but I want mine with black beans and corn, topped with a cornmeal crust ... Wow, that would be good right now ...

Salina 03-14-2009 09:26 PM

anythign but what i'm eatign tonight :O

Guivre 03-15-2009 05:58 PM

Aw. ; ;

I want what Tigerangel is having for dinner tonight! But I'm having odds and ends. D=

Dorkfish 03-15-2009 06:40 PM

I'm always in the mood for Italian. :)
I wish my dad would cook pizza baked spagghetti. I LOVE it! It's like regular spagghetti, but, well... baked, like a pizza. And the cheese on top gets really crunchy, so that's the best part. :)

Michy Lea 03-15-2009 06:57 PM

I saw something like that "pizza baked spaghetti" on the news about two weeks ago. I kind of want to try it.

I don't know what I want for supper, maybe skinless chicken breasts with some veggies. I'm not feeling well, though, so I'm in no hurry to try to eat anything.

Truth.
It's nice to know that I never have to worry about not having anything to eat when I leave home.
xD

Haha!
There actually were black beans and corn as well as kidney beans in that chili.
It was quite delish.
I was going to put a corn bread crust, but the last time I did it wasn't gluten-free, so I needed to be sure that I had a handle down on the basic recipe for gluten-free corn bread beforehand.
It's still a bit dry, I'm thinking I'll use butter instead of veggie oil and whole milk next time.

Tonight I really want french onion soup and some yam gnocchi with sage butter and broiled tofu.
Yummm.

Jeannesha 03-15-2009 07:33 PM

Tonight is one of the few meals that I prepare, rather than my chez-hubbie.

It's brisket.

It's been marinating since yesterday morning in a mixture of FF Italian Dressing, Worchestershire sauce, and onion and garlic powder.

Then it gets baked in the marinade all day long today. It smells so good, it's driving me crazy.

When it's done, it just falls apart. The marinade becomes the gravy/sauce that we serve it with.

Eat that with a stuffed baked potato and some harticort verts sauteed in butter and garlic, and it is one of the most delicious meals I've had.

I like it even better than a prime filet!

Izumi 03-15-2009 07:42 PM

mmm Jean your dinner is making me drool....

I'm having pizza tonight by PizzaHut, and right now it sounds really really yummy. I can't wait for dinner!!

Guivre 03-15-2009 08:00 PM

Brisket really is mouth-watering. D=

@Kokoso, I just use cornmeal, water, chili powder for the crust. I don't like bread much.

@Atashi -- Pizza Hut is always a good standby. I hate to say it, but I love the crust stuffed pizza cause it tastes like Banitza. I think I mentioned that before, but still delicious ...

Jeannesha 03-20-2009 09:54 PM

Tonight I think we're having junk.

Junk = basically a tomato-based hamburger casserole.

It's pretty good. We also always have garlic toast with it.
