Menewsha: The Game
 

Hi, I have just gotten my hands on the RPG Maker and is making a game called Menewsha and guess what it is about Menewsha.

I would like others input; what could I do, who should I put in it, what areas could there be.

I would love to hear others' opinions and ideas on this.

Meanwhile I should read the instructions on how to work the scripts.

I was personally thinking along the lines of doing quests/jobs/favours for the NPCs as oppose to fighting monsters because as you said Mel, it is so five months ago.

I kind of like the idea you have with the NPCs though. ^^ That would be kind of cool.

Hmmm if you try to sell it that's copyright 0_o but that's assuming you will try to do more than have fun and that Menewsha even has enough registered symbols that they could sue you after you change the name of the RPG xD

Hem, on topic, it would be hard to do much since Menewsha doesn't seem to be very developed. An obvious place to start would be with the shops area. Best starter would be to have some big trouble, some problem that needs to be solved. I think you would pretty much have to pull a lot of crap out of your butt on the spot to make the world..

Actually when you buy the licence you are fully entitled to sell any game you make, but since this is my first project I wanted something that others would be interested in trying who I could advertise this too and get feedback. So I chose to make it about Menewsha, and I consider this like fanfiction.

As for starter character, I'm thinking washed up on shore with amnesia.

I wanted to test the program, to see if it was as easy as advertised. And this game is like fanfiction, not created for profit but the sheer joy of creating.

That game was hard for me. ;-; My mouse is too slow, or perhaps it was my computer? anyway I would click, adn then miss and possible hit a neopet. blast the little buggers.

whack a yumeh on the other hand would be pretty fantastic. that cat is always scratching people and peeing or vomiting on their shoes!

But it could like, go along with our storyline and events that have happened and CI release delays and crap, but get all fanfiction since we do not know what happens next. xD

I have an idea that Winter might like.

In the town square (where all the shops are) in the middle would be a gazebo or something like that when activated will take you to the Arcade where traditional gamers can fight monsters.

xD That would be cool.

I would like to know the names of the Menewshan Shop owners.

I know about Li Mei, Aimee, Nalin Sun, Tesel Valentine and Magnus. But who are the others, do they have names?

The only place I knew of that listed the shop NPCs hasn't been update since before the store revamp.

Which is why there's the now the new and improved NPC guide. ^^

Oh! This is such a neat idea! It would be neat if there were something concerning the recently passed Invisi-Mayor Clone plague. Maybe turn it into some sort of side quest? Find a cure or a reason for it! :XD Staff certainly isn't telling us why. :P

I have got rough drafts of several NPCs; Cecilia, Jaryck, Tesel, Vicky, Yumeh, Evangline Gray, Lapis Kem and The Toymaker. I have also got a rough draft of the starter map, and the BGM chosen.
