It sounds like you're having a wonderful time!
I haven't been to Zilker gardens for quite awhile. It must be beautiful now, with all the spring growth. I imagine the roses are blooming. I know the redbud trees and the Texas Mountain Laurel are blooming!

I don't think the bluebonnets have come out yet, so you'll probably miss those. That's unfortunate. Nothing is quite so beautiful as a field of bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes!

My friends step-grandmother says that because of the lack of rain over the winter the blue bonnet seeds are to hard for the plants to grow. Though there were quite a few at the gardens, apparently they "forced" them by nicking the seeds (or watering them).

The roses were really beautiful though, it smelled so wonderful there.
Sadly, in one of the ponds in the parking lot, all the fish had died.

It's true there was little rain this winter. I'm afraid she's right, and we will probably have a bad bluebonnet season.

Another wonderful place to visit is the Lady Bird Wildflower center down here in South Austin.

Oh, leenie hasn't been there yet but if we get another sunny day we might be going.

I was trying to save up then go on a spree but the bells, they called to me (chimed to me?).

I keep checking those bells out and have yet to buy them. I'm trying to find a seller for some of the St. Patrick's Day 08 items, so I've been hoarding gold :ninja: otherwise, I'd be either doling out gold or buying ridiculous amounts of stuff.

Yeah I decided after I purchased the bells that I wasn't going to buy anything until after the St. Patty's day event (if there's one).

Were you here last year? I have no clue how they did it, but, from what I understand, it wasn't a full-blown event like Valentine's Day.

No, I wasn't here yet. So I don't know what they are going to do. Mini events are fun too though. xD At least the event shop is nice. ^_^ Half price new items.

I asked for more specifics for this year, but was sort of given the raised eyebrow... like, we all just need to wait and see.

Hey guys. It's actually kinda late. Busy day.

kinda bad news:
i found out i might be failing a class i'm taking the second time around.
But my teacher is really nice, so I emailed her asking what extra credit I can do to make up for it. I do well on papers, so maybe I can make up my test grades in papers/homeworks.
The class is psychology; it's an interesting class...but i have a "learning disability" that makes it harder for me.
