Ahh, okay.
I've actually yet to have tried a black tea that I like. And I will put honey in it to tame it and I still don't like it. :/ I normally drink white, red, or green teas. Sometimes herbal sometimes tisane. And I don't add anything to them. |
I keep trying teas in the hope that I'll fall in love with one. So far I can only stand Chai and Jasmine.

XD I like the atmosphere that comes with tea-drinking, but I really have to doctor up a cup of tea to get myself to enjoy it. Chai lattes make my day, in other words. ;)
I can't drink anything with a "tree" scent, if that makes sense. I saw Bear Grylls drink a nasty tea made out of pine-needles, amongst other things, and I've not been able to do it since |
Chocolate Jasmine Tea is good! XD
I don't like Chamomile tea. It is gross. I can't stand any tea with chamomile in it actually. So I gave all those teas to my best friend. XD I've never had Chai. Pine needles? I actually have not heard of that one... |

He literally took pine needles off a branch and boiled them.
Chai has a very spicy taste to it. You'll have to give it a shot some day. :) |
O.o
Wow...that's just...wow... XD Was it his tree or a random tree? Ahh...like spices spicy, or hot spicy? |
Hey guys! We were talking about how you could make that tea in field biology. You can't eat them straight up though.
|
I'm having Turkish coffee soon...can't wait for my fix...
|
@Ter: It's like spices spicy. Some are more spicy than others, depending on what brand/where you get it. What gives it its kick is cloves, I believe. It's a combination of the above mentioned, black tea, and honey. I believe.
And...yeah...it was just a random tree in the middle of a forest somewhere. XP Bear Grylls. I swear. |
XD
Oh...I don't like cloves. I had a tea the other day that was orange and clove...it tasted good except the cloves was way too overpowering and made it not taste good. :/ |
Chai is like any other tea. There are thousands of variations on it. I'm sure there are some without cloves in it. :) If you're out and about and want to try some chai...yeah...don't get it from Panera Bread if you hate cloves. That stuff is crazy clovey. Lol.
I've found it without cloves in Indian restaurants a lot. Delicious stuff. :) ---------- Oh, jeeze. I just saw how many spelling errors were in one of my posts above. Friggin' auto-correcting iTouch. |
I know! The iTouch can be annoying with the auto-correct! I also can't copy and paste on mine...every time I copy it locks up...although I never tried with the new software updates a while back...I haven't even updated mine to the latest release yet. XD
I have never been to Panera Bread. XD I've also never been to an Indian restaurant either. XD |
O.O You must at least try Indian sometime! I love the stuff. I think it's one of the tamer foreign foods out there.
Yeah. I have a 4th gen iTouch that I got last Christmas from my parents. I just updated it on iTunes and it took thirty minutes to do. I think it pretty much rewrote all the programming on the thing. It's lucky that it didn't wipe my music in the process or I would've had a cow out of anger, then delivered it to Steve Job's mansion with a note saying "I hope she kills your lawn." |
XD
The thing that takes so long for mine is backing everything up before it loads in the new software. I think that takes longer than the actual software going in. :/ |
Gawd. I hate that. Half the time I just skip through the friggin' sync process. When all you want to do is put one friggin' Adam Lambert song onto your iPod, half an hour worth of backing up is just too much.
|
I'm getting my older sister's old Sansa Fuze today. She's getting one with more memory for more songs. I'm just excited to have one. :)
|
Ah, yeah. My first mp3 was like...a 2gb something or other. I felt so awesome having one. Could only ever fit like...300 songs on it, though. From 2gb to 16gb, yo! I luffs my new iPod.
|
I think it's 4 GB but it also has a 2GB SD card, I believe. So I think it can hold about a 1000 songs? I'm excited though, because I can pare down the songs on my computer, which means it'll go faster. It is the world's oldest MAC. (well, almost) Ugh.
|
Lol. A 6 gb will probably get you 800 to 1,000 songs, depending on how long the songs are that you put on it. My comp is getting a tiny bit slow because of how much music I have on it.
|
My first mp3 player was a cd player that you could play mp3 discs in...my boom box is the same way. XD
My second was the original iPod Photo which I think became the third generation iPod? It was 60 GB and it was the one they EVERY ONE had issues with. I ended up buying myself a new one a few years later because I got fed up with having to knock it around all the time to get it to start working again. The new one (which I love and adore) is the black 160 GB iPod Classic. Then, a few years later I bought me the second generation iPod (I think it is the second generation at least. XD). But I do want the new one since it has a camera and you can video chat with people with it...but...alas...I cannot afford it. T_T But my classic is my main source for listening to music...my music that I have at least...the iTouch, when I am at home to use wifi, I use the Last.fm app...but I soon won't be able to use it since they made it to where you have to subscribe to use that feature now (at least they gave long time members a free three month subscription! :D) Or I listen to stuff on youtube since I can't afford import cds which are $30 each at least. :/ And they are not on iTunes or the mp3 downloads on amazon. :/ |
*cough* You can try pirating them off of 4shared. *cough* And, wow! That's a lot of iPods! I've only had a second gen nano and now the 4th gen touch.
|
You people and your technology...
I have had CD players that could play MP3 cds... One or two of those, and one MP3 player that is dead. ._. Still thinking of getting an Ipod Classic or buying my friend's Ipod Nano. And I love your avatar, ElysiumFate! |
