Haha. Yeah. I don't want to live with my parents for more than a few years, but I don't want somebody to die so that I can have money. XD I'm going to get some money when my grandmother passes on, but I'd rather have her company than her money.

TaiyoTsuki 03-27-2011 04:05 AM

Me needs food...*raids her fridge*

ElysiumFate 03-27-2011 04:35 AM

Food...I think I need another PB & honey sandwich. I got the best bread, and it makes it really good food. :)

TaiyoTsuki 03-27-2011 07:11 AM

*starts munching on veggie chips*

TerrenaAnimula 03-27-2011 03:17 PM

I have a cat mewing at me and pawing my leg. XD

FeyonaSaibre 03-27-2011 03:21 PM

That happened to me this morning. We just adopted this black and white fuzzball. We took him to the vet. He's 1.4 pounds and about 6 weeks old... he's so TINY!

TerrenaAnimula 03-27-2011 04:41 PM

AWWWW!!!!

We got out kitty when she was six weeks old from the SPCA. She will be turning twelve (I think it is twelve) in October.

FeyonaSaibre 03-27-2011 05:05 PM

One of our friends found ours on the side of the road about to be hit by a car. She didn't have the money to take care of him, so we took him off her hands.

ElysiumFate 03-27-2011 07:25 PM

Ah, man. Kittens get treated like dispensable garbage far too often.

FeyonaSaibre 03-27-2011 07:38 PM

Agreed... I'm just happy he's safe and well fed and happy. He's got lots of energy too.

ElysiumFate 03-27-2011 07:44 PM

Mmm. I haven't had a kitten in six years. My baby is 10 years old now, and my mother's spawn cat is six years (doesn't feel like we've had that one so long, because she's such a bad cat that I've ignored her for most of it). I love kittens, but I shall have to see if I ever have another one. I think I want to adopt from a shelter, and get a cat that's a couple years old with a developed personality. I don't want another bad cat.

Now...fewd...

TerrenaAnimula 03-27-2011 08:48 PM

Ours was found alone by a church. The people who brought her in think that the mother cat abandoned her or lost her because she was the only one there. :/

But she is so rotten! She thinks she can get away with just about anything...and if you ignore her or don't give her what she wants...watch out...she will attack. XD

ElysiumFate 03-27-2011 09:11 PM

Awh. You have to be a cat lover to think that's cute, so I guess you know what I am. XD

FeyonaSaibre 03-27-2011 09:46 PM

Same here... I LOVE the furry ones. <3

YuenGuon 03-27-2011 11:33 PM

i wish i could have a cat!!! but i'm highly allergic :( it makes me really sad :/
There might be some hint that a puppy might join my family in the future, but no guarantees yet.

ElysiumFate 03-27-2011 11:35 PM

Puppies. Such crazy little buggers. :XD You have to really love them to put up with them.

YuenGuon 03-28-2011 12:11 AM

i knoww! i think i have to wait until i finish school. That way I have time at home with them. I wish I could have a kitty though ;_;

TerrenaAnimula 03-28-2011 12:29 AM

Puppies and doggies are cute! I loves them! But I'm allergic to them! Although...I may be starting to get over that allergy because I didn't become sick the last time I was at my friend's house because they have four dogs.

ElysiumFate 03-28-2011 02:12 AM

I think that allergies to animals are mainly caused to being raised in a household where a certain animal has never been present. Everyone I know who is allergic to cats was raised without ever coming into contact with one, and the same with dogs. So I've always felt that certain people with allergies to animals can at least slightly overcome the allergy if they are exposed to them enough times.

TerrenaAnimula 03-28-2011 02:42 AM

I was around dogs when I was a child. My mom's parent's had two until they died. My uncle had one. Then a bunch of friends had them as well...but I still managed to develop an allergy to them later in life. :/ The only "dog" that I have never had a problem with that I had been around was a full blooded wolf (white) and a wolf-husky-coyote mix.

ElysiumFate 03-28-2011 03:02 AM

Mmm. Yeah. That's why I only said "some people."

I would actually like it if I were allergic to dogs, because I've hated them for years. To each their own, but there's not a thing about dogs that I like. Were I allergic to them I'd be able to have a real excuse against ever having to live with somebody who has them.

Meh. I shouldn't ask for allergies. I've always just mused over how much easier that would make it for me. >.> I come off as such a snob sometimes when I say I hate dogs. I just...do. >.>

TerrenaAnimula 03-28-2011 03:32 AM

There's this one chick in my ceramics class...she is a snob...and I have talked about her before on here but I don't remember if it was this thread or not. She always has to dress nicely and was always taking over or trying to take over my spot where I always sit. Nancy, the instructor, would sometimes bring her dog in. The girl told her she was allergic to dogs when she came in that day. While Nancy was putting her dog away, she tells the rest of us that she isn't allergic to dogs and just hates them and is scared of them. She could have just told Nancy she was scared of dogs because Nancy asked everyone if anyone was allergic to dogs or scared of them. But she lied. So, that's another reason I don't like her. I'm scared of dogs too, but Nancy's dog was such a friendly one and just wanted everyone to play with her and her ball. XD It was so cute! And since she doesn't normally bring the dog to campus and in the ceramics room, and she actually grooms her, she wasn't much of a problem to my allergies of dogs. I just didn't want to pet her because if I did that and touched my eyes without thinking, then we would be having problems. But I still played with her, all you had to do was kick her ball towards her and she was happy. :D

ElysiumFate 03-28-2011 03:49 AM

Blech. I hate chicks like that. I CAN deal with other people's dogs, and I won't say anything, but I really still hate them. Every now and then there's a gorgeous dog who is well groomed, well trained, and doesn't stink, and I actually kind of like them. But those are few and far between in my experience. I do think I have a little bit of a fear of dogs, but it's more my dislike for them that makes me standoffish around them.

TerrenaAnimula 03-28-2011 11:42 AM

But at least you can admit to that. So, I have no problem with you disliking dogs.

And yea...some people do not keep their dogs well groomed or trained. :/

My cousins have a new dog that I met for the first time...he is not trained at all! Their past two dogs (one of which they still have) were trained and extremely well behaved. The dog is supposed to be a puppy...but that thing is HUGE! I don't know what it is because I don't remember...I don't remember what the other one is...maybe something similar to an Australian Shepard (which are probably my favorite kind of dog)...then the old one was a golden retriever which they had to put to sleep earlier this year due to her age and health problems (she was probably between 18 and 20 years old).

And that was the reason for the new puppy...to attempt to fill the gap...but they had him a bit before that though...I just don't know how long.

But I am definitely more a cat person! :D My nickname is even Cat...but it is also short for my name and is my initials. XD Which is why I am "cool and awesome" (yea...one of my friends have dubbed me those things for those reasons. LOL)

YamiSora 03-28-2011 08:08 PM

ooooooooo dog vs cat topic! 8DD
Sora honestly loves both, so it'll be hard for Sora to decide what he'll want in the future........
Sora'll probably get a cat for an apartment and then when he gets a family and a house, he'll get a dog! ^^
