'ello. it's such a good day isn't it! soooo warm and sunny outside. :)
Uhh...I had to work today...and it was all rainy here today.
Warm for me too! but EVIL HOMEWORK!!!! I had to track down al my sources for my english paper AGAIN!
It was warm today here. I loved it. :) I get soooo much happier in the spring.
Same here...except for the fact that I live in freaking Tornado Alley.
Oooh. Wyoming? Lol.
I live half in and half out of Tornado Alley. We don'g get anything bad where I live, but if you go north of us a little you'll find a couple towns that have been leveled. |
Uh...different Tornado Alley.
There's...more than one tornado alley? o.o
Lol. Wyoming is more adjacent to it, I guess. That's just where we've been getting the complaints from around here, and I know people from there, so that's why I mentioned it. |
The Tornado Alley I'm talking about is the Midwest.
Oh, I know. I live next to it. We just get ya'll's leftover hail.
Hope you like it! :sarcasm: |
Mhmm. I can't count the number of times I've had to run outside and cover my car in blankets because of your hail. :P Lol.
Today was warm and nice and sunny...I went out shopping and stayed in working on an art project! Which I finished...it just needs to dry. XD
Haha. I have no idea what today was like here. I didn't go outside or upstairs once. :ninja:
XD
Nice! I only know because I went out...even if I didn't go out I would be able to see through the windows when I went out to the kitchen or in the dining room to work on my art projects...or even out to go to the bathroom since I can see out the window through the blinds in there. |
Yeah. I was just exhausted today. I don't think I slept more than six hours a night all week. Major sleep debt build up, you know? I relaxed.
Now I'm doing astronomy homework, though. Looking up star coordinates and writing an essay. |
I know what you mean! But I woke up at ten this morning so I could finish my art project that is due in the morning. So i am tired...and I may go to bed early so I can get up and not be late for class (like I have been but hey...never more than five minutes late and she has never really begun class yet when I do get there late). Right now I'm trying to finish up writing the representations for what I chose to put on my Pandora's Box.
Pandora's Box? That sounds like an interesting project.

On the subject of Tornado Alley, just about everyone in my dorm was flipping out (and preventing those of us who actually sleep from doing so) over a tornado warning. Yes, tornados are dangerous. Yes, they can kill people. And yes, the university is in freaking Tornado Alley! So's the rest of Illinois people, and that includes Chicago. Hell, the ENTIRE MIDWEST is in Tornado Alley. And the majority of people who are in my dorm ar from the Chicagoland area. They've lived in Tornado Alley their entire lives; tornados shouldn't be anything new. Neither should shitty weather. But apparently it is news to them.
But then again, that's coming from a girl who's had a couple of tornados go over her hometown, while I was living there, around the age of six or seven. |
We had a tornado here once that dumped golfball sized hail outside while we were in school. Everyone freaked out and the principal made us do a tornado drill. We all went and sat under the school's stairwell and everyone was crying. I was just sitting there thinking..."people...how many times has this happened? Tornadoes just don't come down here...they blow over and level a town up north." XD Still. Everyone was freaking out.
All the while I was there thinking that I'd love to do a psychological study on all of them. Haha. |
Yeah, iit was a pretty nifty art project. :D
Yeah...then a tornado warning shouldn't be new to them. :/ People here don't really freak out when we go into tornado warnings and those are really rare here because we live in a valley surrounded my mountains. However, we can occasionally get them but it is definitely rare. The last time one happened was when I was in middle school and we had to do the tornado drill...although...in a real bad situation I don't know how that would work since we were near doors and the doors are made of glass and they lead to the outside. :/ But we will get really bad gusts of when when the hurricanes actually make it this far into Virginia. Those are more likely to happen than us getting a tornado (yeah...I realize they are the same thing and that just one happens on land the other on water...but I still categorize them as different things though). |
Well, I've officially seen the first episode of the new Yu-Gi-Oh series. I know it's a bit childish, but I freaking love Yu-Gi-Oh! And even though I had no freaking clue what anyone was saying, I'm hooked.
There's a new series? I stopped watching it a long time ago because I got bored with it. XD
Yeah. I got sick of Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Bleach, InuYasha, and Full Metal Alchemist years ago. Too friggin' repetitive.
Isn't everything just about repetitive anymore? :/ Regardless of what it is?
