I don't think I've been sick either. :/ I've just had hand problems and allergy problems.

ElysiumFate 04-22-2011 01:49 AM

I'm lucky not to have any allergies other than one to penicillin. I've "felt" sick from getting no sleep, but wasn't actually sick, though.

I feel a little out of it now, but that's probably because I'm tired.

TerrenaAnimula 04-22-2011 01:54 AM

Pollen...cutting grass...bleh...allergies...OH! And doggies! T_T I like dogs but I am allergic to them. :/

There are a couple of medicines I used to be allergic a long time ago...don't know if i still am...I might be allergic to codine (at least I think that's what it was) because it made me sick.

ElysiumFate 04-22-2011 02:13 AM

My mom won't let me go near sulfur because she's allergic to it. I don't know that I am and I actually highly doubt it. I really want to go to a natural hot spring! T_T

TerrenaAnimula 04-22-2011 04:04 AM

Aww. I've never been to a natural hot spring...I don't even think there is any around here. :/

ElysiumFate 04-22-2011 04:07 AM

There's one around where I live, I'm sure...I've actually never looked for one, though, because (again) my mom is afraid I'm allergic. So *sigh*

TerrenaAnimula 04-22-2011 04:10 AM

Go buy a rock of sulfur and test it out on a patch of your skin. That's the easiest way to find out. At least that way, if you're allergic you'll find out and hopefully it won't be some huge, mega bad reaction.

I think I have a piece in my box of rocks. XD

ElysiumFate 04-22-2011 04:36 AM

You can do that? Lol. Where does one come by a hunk of sulfur? I'm a rock nerd, and I don't even know. Lol.

TerrenaAnimula 04-23-2011 03:03 AM

lol

It came in a bag of rocks from the Discovery Channel Store YEARS ago. I've had it since I was in elementary school. XD So I don't know if you can actually get it now or what...

TaiyoTsuki 04-23-2011 03:05 AM

I don't know either. Then again, I don't really collect rocks to begin with.

I'm halfway afraid to try taking Advil for anything because of how it makes my mom act all goofy and loopy if she takes it.

TerrenaAnimula 04-23-2011 03:15 AM

Oh wow...I don't take Advil (the brand name). I take ibuprofen. They're supposed to be the same thing but they do act differently.

YuenGuon 04-23-2011 03:26 AM

I normally dont get sick but I work with sick children all the time so I catch it from them if it's contagious. :[[

TerrenaAnimula 04-23-2011 03:38 AM

That's not fun. I've had people complain to me that that I should be sick more because I am "fat therefore unhealthy." :/

But I'm not. I don't really get sick. Normally I just have sinus problems due to allergies and I'll get sinus infections and headaches (although the headaches/migraines I was having went away once I got new glasses). And i've only had the flu once in my whole life. Although the other times it was the 24/48 hour bug or the stomach flu. And the only time I was ever constantly sick was in elementary school.

ElysiumFate 04-23-2011 04:22 AM

@Terr: Omg. *bitchslaps them for you* So rude. Pffft. Actually, the sickest people I ever see are the twigs with horrific nutrition. *shakes head*

I always got sick in elementary school...but only in the summertime. That was always when I got the stomach bugs and flues and all that good shit. Lol. It was because my family and I used to travel a lot in the summer, though (because we could actually afford it then) and we'd go to places with a bunch of unfamiliar germs, thus the sickness.

The sickest I've ever been was after I got back from Vegas. Suffice it to say...never going there again. It was a slut-hole, cheezed-up, scum bag place anyway. I'm sure there's something good about it...I, however, did not find it.

YuenGuon 04-23-2011 02:58 PM

Terrena!!! that's so mean!!! D: I'm not skinny and that doesn't mean i'll get colds all the time. wth? Ehh, I'm still a little sick but I'm not sneezing as much, it's more of coughing.

I actually just joined a gym. I see a nutritionist and she wants me to lose some weight, which I agree with. So hopefully being more active will help my health.

TaiyoTsuki 04-23-2011 08:59 PM

Okay, I'm gonna be having nightmares tonight.

@ Terr: That's what I do too. I have no idea what it is in Advil that makes my mom go loopy.

ElysiumFate 04-24-2011 01:29 AM

@Taiyo: Why?

Also. *makes mental note never to try Advil*

TaiyoTsuki 04-24-2011 06:12 AM

I don't know if it would do the same thing to everyone else. My dad can take it with no problems, but there's just something in it that makes my mom go loopy.

As for why I'm gonna be having nightmares....Black Butler and Le Chavalier D'Eon in the same day, plus I'm in a Yu-Gi-Oh RP.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 12:54 AM

Yeah. People are rude. Even doctors! They are always telling me I should weight a lot less than what I am and they only go on your height and age. They never take into consideration your genetic make-up. :/ Which annoys the crap out of me!

And I know I've lost weight since high school. Or at least in some places. My fingers are smaller and from looking at my old high school photos compared to them now, my face is smaller as well. Also a can't wear a bunch of my jeans that I bought over a year ago that took a year to just get hemmed...they are huge on me now so I can't wear them out because they are baggy. :/ But finding jeans is hard! My waist fits about 50% of size 14 but a 14 is too small for my hips, thighs, and calves. :/ Some 16s are still too tight on my thighs but big on my waist. *wears a belt because she has to, not because of a fashion statement* So I mainly wear size 16 for my jeans.

TaiyoTsuki 04-25-2011 01:16 AM

I'm the same way, Terr, I know. My doctor at least knows that body type has a big role to play in weight, not just height, age, and gender. However, not a lot of services (like the MyFoodPyramid.gov) do. I had to make an account there and do a diet breakdown for my personal nutrition class (most boring class ever, mostly because the teacher was like a femal version of Professor Binns), and the stupid site said that I weighed too much for my height and age! AGH!!!!!! It ain't my fault that I'm a friggin' solid build!

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 01:19 AM

Yeah. My doctor I had NEVER took genetics into consideration. :/ He's one of the reasons I haven't been to the doctor in years! I only go when I am really sick such as when I had the flu two years ago but I went to the emergency room in the middle of the night. They don't take your weight there.

ElysiumFate 04-25-2011 01:49 AM

I hate general practitioners. They tend to be horrible doctors.

I can't really find jeans that fit me either. They tend to be tight in the thigh but not on the waist, thus they always fall down or make my butt look baggy...I always have to wear belts because of it, too. >.> Even then, sometimes the belt doesn't always work, lol.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 01:53 AM

lol. Yeah...that's when I get my dad to punch more holes in the belt. XD Provided it is a belt that you can do that with.

ElysiumFate 04-25-2011 02:06 AM

Mhmm. I don't really have any belts I can do that with, and I can't afford any new belts either. I've been known to do that before, though.

My weight tends to fluctuate a lot. Bloating, etc. So sometimes stuff fits perfectly and sometimes it's just a little off.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 02:10 AM

Yeah...that will happen to me as well sometimes.

The last belt I belt was on clearance for $5 at Target. I haven't worn it yet though. XD I just bought it as a back up belt for when the one I am using now breaks.
