I always make one for my characters, but it is not something we need to do. I just do it to keep track of the 50+ characters I have. Sometimes I am able to dust off an old one, tweak it a little, and use it in a new rp.

I keep track of mine easily enough, but i tend to make profiles eventually. not usually at the start of the rp. I seriously love making profiles and doing character memes though. best done when I know the character.
I rarely recycle characters.

I have only ever done it once. And that was because I really loved the character and didn't really get to see his full potential as a character. But he was majorly tweaked to fit the second story. He wasn't really the same guy. I mean he looked the same and acted the same, but the rest of him was very different. I still feel like I haven't really found the story that really fits him.....*pauses* Omg....he is a very feminine guy....and everyone who meets him thinks he's gay....I think my brain just had a melt down of awesomeness.

well, kat dakuu has a whole slew of stories to herself, but I count them all as connected because the main characters are always Kat and Nicole. another character was shoved into Kat's story because she was her brain twin and her rp died. but yeah. that's it. Kat just absorbs other stories and characters into her own universe.

I think he just might. I will still have to tweak him a little because currently no matter what people think, he's not gay. And it depends on what else we want in the story such as era, ages, worlds, races, basically how realistic or fantastical it is going to be. Currently he is quite a bit away from the realistic side.

hm, it would be fun to start off realistic and then get way wacky, but I'm not sure how wacky or what sort.

Mine is really feminine so he is seen as being gay. You can make yours however you want of course. Let's see. We need someone to play the boyfriend stealing girl...and maybe one more character male or female who tries to help keep the peace when the world explodes. So which do you want? I think i might prefer the peace keeper.
