I hope my battle of the books meet goes well tomorrow. For those of you who don't know what it is, you have to read a list of 15 books and later our knowledge of tiny details in them is tested. We use buzzers, like in Jeopardy, but only the Captain can answer. They ask some of the weirdest questions, like 'A character in this book was eating a peanut butter sandwich and mumbling.' (This may not be an actual question, but it could be.)

All this talk about pans. We also have some cast iron pans, but they're the kind that are lined with porcelain. LeCreusart, I believe they're called? They work wonderfully for making stews.

I like the little hat. It perches well on that hairdo. I had tried a green one with a red feather for this outfit, but it looked pretty silly on my hair.

Yes. I got the wings from my niece. I'm trying to get the circlet myself, to fill out the set.

I also have the astral halo and the little harp, but I'm not certain how I'm going to use the harp yet. I love the halo.

ahh! guys! i just had a power outage! at midnight! it was kinda scary. because I don't really like blackouts in my house. because my house can get scary sometimes. but my brother and I played Life the board game so I kept busy.

I don't care for blackouts. It has been ages since we've had to worry about them. We get them so rarely in Texas. Our subdivision has buried power lines, so they rarely go down.
