Hmmm, Memorable...Well, I bought a Wii, a DS, and a Wii Fit and wrote them off on my taxes this year (legally too!)...How about that?

FakeSunShine 05-09-2009 04:13 AM

Dream: congrats on the good finds<3

man: i feel weird calling you man what should i call you and dont worry i like random people coming around<3

daria: things are going well in the world of menewsha as for the real world not everything is alright but its manageable thank you for asking and what of yourself? and the writing off a i can understand the wii and wii fit sorta butthe ds how did you do write that one off legally?

Zero welcome back my llove and no im not going to bed just yet so there =P

lavndrdream 05-09-2009 04:15 AM

My Dad did that with their pool. They actually got a prescription from the Dr for the pool for my step grandma, something about physical therapy. That was kinda cool, though he had to get an above ground instead of an inground because of the spetic tank, or something like that.

It was no biggie. They would have gotten the pool regardless since both my Dad and StepMa are like freaking Hippos when it comes to water. (I'm not being insulting)

FakeSunShine 05-09-2009 04:18 AM

thats pretty neat. i need to find a way to write things off XP through my taxes i mean what? i would never do soemthing like that

DariaMorgendorfer 05-09-2009 04:22 AM

@ Sunshine, well, in the real world..I am counting down the final 2 weeks of the school year (I work in the schools) and am full of meetings and, paperwork, etc. before the year ends...So kinda stressful but with a shining light at the end of the tunnel.

How I wrote them off, well I work with children with special needs teaching fine and gross motor skills. The DS uses a stylius pen, and a huge part of my job is teaching handwriting and tiny fine motor skills (eye hand coordination etc.). The same thing goes for the Wii and the Fit. I do yoga with a girl with muscular dystrophy so the fit is amazing for that.

shadowdemon-zero 05-09-2009 04:30 AM

im down to just my finals

DariaMorgendorfer 05-09-2009 04:31 AM

lavndrdream 05-09-2009 04:44 AM

DariaMorgendorfer 05-09-2009 04:54 AM

Hey, I know studying way to well....I think it's great that your in school...It's the best way to get a skill that people will actually pay you for.

tirethminet 05-09-2009 05:26 AM

ohmygawd, thirteen pages in under twelve hours. good job, guys. :]
frankly i'm gonna tl;dr most of that since not a lot of it pertains to me and i have no patience. x:
i've been playing with google sites and photoshop all day. and also sleeping. x_x;;
really wish i could use my own website layout on google sites, but nooo~ they don't accept custom html. >:[

granny, i'm employed at barnes and noble, but i haven't gotten any hours since january. people who need the money for living expenses rank a little above me. :/

ooooh, majors~
i still haven't decided on one, which is the main reason i haven't started college yet. D:
not even a general subject. art, science, or language - english or foreign.
i'm so indecisive. ;_;

shadowdemon-zero 05-09-2009 05:55 AM

generally you go to college before deciding a major and sort it out once your had some experience with different things ^^;;;

DariaMorgendorfer 05-09-2009 06:59 AM

@ shadow, that's true, but I am one of those freaks who never really changed my major. I entered college as an art major, and graduated college with a bachelors in fine arts. The only thing I did change, was my "emphasis". I discovered I am a better sculptor than painter, so I switched from 2D design to a combined 3D/2D design emphasis.

FakeSunShine 05-09-2009 11:47 AM

daria its cool that you are a teacher =) i wanna be an art therpist or an art teacher

tire: Yay photography. im taking one in school well the class is almost over now but heh =) and what are you doing with google

Daria: Wait so you arrrreee an art teacher? sweet<3 maybe i can learn something from you heh.
also ive wanted to do art as my life work since the 4th grade. im going to college for it in fall

anyway sorry for the not saying good bye my laptop and i fell asleep together last hight. well im off wo work now so ill catch up again later =)

fairywaif 05-09-2009 02:13 PM

I'm going to New College or the local college next year, to study Psychology, or Marine Biology. I'm already in AP psych, so I know I really like that, and I've always enjoyed marine life. If I go to the local college I'm probably get a lot freshman classes out of the way. I don't know if I got in so far, they haven't contacted me. Apparently they're pretty disorganized...

I actually already knew (generally) what I wanted to do when I was eleven. And even after having a stressful year of major memorizations (though now I forget most of the species names now :sweat:) I still want to go back for more. Though I'll have to do some major restudying before I finally go back.

Hello everyone, I don't know who's on right now, but Hi anyway.

I'm just poppin on for a short time to see what I missed and to make less for me to read later. So if I dissapear without warning, don't be surprised.

Yay!!! two of my dragons became adults

YuenGuon 05-09-2009 03:49 PM

hi everyone :)
i guess i found out what i wanted/should do when i was 13ish? maybe a littler older than that. but around there.

Dream_and_Die 05-09-2009 03:56 PM

I made up as I went along. XD
I wanted to be a soccer player since I was like 4, then I wanted to be a writer when I was 10 then at 15 I changed it to movie editor, then at 17 I decided I liked directing better, and now a year into college I decided I'm going to be a English as a second/elective language teacher. Hopefully in other countries. I find it funny because as a teacher, in all my spare time I will probably write. XD
