uh-huh....I don't think I've ever had a home-made omelet. Well, maybe at a bed and breakfast in like Scotland.

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 12:17 AM

Oh wow. My mom makes them all the time. :] Broccoli, cheese, egg....yum.

Kat Dakuu 11-18-2009 12:18 AM

broccoli? Really? hm.....

GrannyJ 11-18-2009 12:18 AM

My husband makes excellent omlettes.
I don't get them very often, however. Only on special occasions.

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 12:19 AM

My mom use to NEVER make them...then she got this little omelet making thing & she is like "OKAY I'LL MAKE AN OMELET!" all the time. Haha

Jezriel 11-18-2009 02:08 AM

My attempts at 'real' omelets usually fail. So I make scrambled eggs with omelet fillings in them. Tastes the same, I think.

I did make a successful omu-rice once, which is a Japanese twist on things.

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 02:10 AM

Jezriel; haha sounds like me. It does taste the same to me.
& i've never heard or tried that. :o

Kat Dakuu 11-18-2009 02:49 AM

I've had scrambled eggs with cheese and eggs.

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 02:51 AM

Mmm. I'm hungry again.
Haha Thanks. <3

Saiyana2 11-18-2009 02:54 AM

omlets are easy to make the trick is in making sure the pan is hot and well greased. Always at a little milk to the eggs. It helps to usee precooked fillings then add the cheese just before you fold it.

Kat Dakuu 11-18-2009 02:54 AM

no prob!! I feel like relaxing for the rest of my day.

Cicadetta 11-18-2009 03:01 AM

I've never been much good at making omelets, not that I've had much practice. They always seem to break instead of fold for me. But they do taste like omelets, even if they don't look all that great. And that's the main thing.

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 03:02 AM

I want another omelet! Haha

Saiyana2 11-18-2009 03:13 AM

I made pork and broccolli for supper.

Kat Dakuu 11-18-2009 03:16 AM

grr, I'm hungry!!

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 03:16 AM

I just ate nachos!

[What kinda cheese is not your cheese? NACHO CHEESE!!]

fairywaif 11-18-2009 03:17 AM

Every cheese is my cheese. Yes, even yours.

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 03:20 AM

;D I love cheese. Specially blue cheese dressing. YUM

Saiyana2 11-18-2009 03:20 AM

I love alot of different cheeses. I've been trying to find a place that sells limburger cheese. I like it on rye bread

Kat Dakuu 11-18-2009 03:23 AM

lolz, awesome Fairy!!! but I like my cheese!

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 03:23 AM

Saiya; I've never tried that type of cheese. :o I want to though.

Saiyana2 11-18-2009 03:37 AM

It has a bad rep because of the smell which is quite strong but I really like it, it's very creamy. I wish I could find some.

Miss Mad Hatter 11-18-2009 03:41 AM

Mmm. Sounds super yummy.
Gouda cheese smells way yucky but I love it in cheese bread that my momma makes. YUM

Saiyana2 11-18-2009 03:41 AM

I love Brie when it's all melty

fairywaif 11-18-2009 03:41 AM
