That's another nice thing about them being open on the top, you can move your legs around. Even let them dangle off the sides into the water if you want. It's not easy to paddle that way, but it's fun to do if you're resting for a bit.

Not exactly. You're still inside a canoe, but there's no top. With an open-top kayak... it's more like you're sitting on top of it.

oh, I see. that looks nice, but a disaster to me. I managed to flip a sail boat and that takes effort!!! granted my team of girls wasn't really working and we hit someone with the sail and she fell overboard and then we tipped trying to get her.

granny: my scarf is different colors, the yarn I'm using has many different colors. it consists of dark purple, blue and green
