Uh, lesse... Start out by taking a quick glance all the rules. If there are any stickies in any section of the forum, you should probably take a look at those, too. There are different sections in every thread. Read the descriptions carefully so you know where you thread should go. If you need your thread move, just asked a Mod. They're the ones with Purple names, I believe.

A basic rule for posting is no spamming. On this site, we consider bumping spamming unless you're bringing up a thread for a good reason. (ex: Your art shop has been inactive for over 5 hours or so.) Also, try to avoid posting one-word messages, or messages with only a smilie. (ex: "Hi" or ":D") Seems a little strict at first, but once you get into the flow of things, you should be fine.

This thread would be the best in the Art Shops forum. The Art Request forum is a subsection of the Art Forum. If you go to the Art Shops forum and look down a little bit, there should be a button that says, "New Thread." You click on that button to start a new threads in the Art Shops forum.

If you want to start an Art Shop, you might want to have a organized set-up with information about Slots, Prices, and Examples. That way, people can browse through more easily and see what you want and what you're offering.

To get artwork in your siggy, look at the very top of the page. There should be something that says "My Account". Click on it. On the page that loads, look at the row of links to the left. Under the heading "Settings and Options" there's a link that reads "Edit Signature". Click on it. The rest should be pretty self-explanatory, but if you need more help, just ask.
