Matsuo nodded to Kimu "Yeah, we should go." He looked at the professor "Thank you for your help professor" Matsuo and Kimu begin to walk out the door, leaving the girl.
Kumiko stands up and grabs Kimu's shirt. She looked down at the floor as Kimu turned around "Please" She said in her low voice "Take me with you?" She looked up at him as if she were about to cry. |
at first kimu just sat there, then he thought for a minute, kimu looked over at matsuo as if he were asking for permission. then he finally spoke "what do you think Matsuo, should we bring her with us or should be bring her to the guards for trying to kill us, i mean we don't know how many people she has actually killed, but she might be some help to us, what do you think we should do" kimu looked into matsuo's eyes, wondering what he was thinking

Matsuo shrugged "It's up to you Kimu. She's asking to join you, not me" he turned around "I'm with whatever you decide pal"
Kumiko looked at Kimu eyes filled with tear. In her low voice she says "Please, I don't want to go back THERE." she wipes the tears from here eyes "I wont hurt people anymore. The gems made me do all the things i did" |
kimu looked into her tearing eyes for a long moment and then finally said
"ok you can come with us but don't get in our way, and if you try to betray us neither of us will even hesitate to.......... kill you" "isn't that right matsuo |
Matsuo nods in agreement
Kumiko looks at Kimu and smiles "Thank you!" She says enthusiastically "I will never betray you, either of you! I'll be good, i'll stay out of your way. Plus, i think i can be of some use to you." she steps back from them "I don't need those gems to use magic you see" She then uses her powers to change into her mage forum (See characters post) |
kimu is speechless, not knowing how she did what she just did and then looked at matsuo stunned and just waited for him to finally say something.

Matsuo looks at Kumkio with shock "You, you're a mage?" He looks at Kimu "No wonder she's so attracted to you." He smiles "You two make a good pair. She'll be loyal to you Kimu, i can tell" he laughed

Aya glanced at the people near the altar. She smirked as she walked away from the group of people, heading towards the staircase. "Nothing but a group of priests. The only odd thing is that they're chanting. Priests usually do their chanting in the early morning, not all day long." Ayane slowly walked up the staircase as she whispered a soft spell, as a green glow surrounded both girls for a minute. "Unless they have evil intentions they're now uncapable of seeing us. Let's go up. I want to know what secrets lie there..."

Rin and Aya continue there walk up the cold stone steps. They walk up for some time till they reach the top. in the tower is a beautifull old glass window. "O Aya" Rin sighs, forgetting why the had came now. " look at the way to colors of the glass blend together. it beautifull." The light that passed through the window left reather strange shadow on the floor. passed the shadow was a small wooden door. a small noise was coming from the other side, like the sound of hurryed feet.

kimu looked at matsuo and laughed "ya, i guess, might as well give her a chance, we should be heading back to check on the girls about now don't you think?"

Ayane stared at the shadow of the glass."Mice." The only thing Aya could say about the door as she kept staring at the shadow."Yet THAT..."she said, pointing at the shadow,"that's aura. Don't you think it's rather grey for such a cheerful window?" Suddenly, she signaled Rins to keep quiet. "Someone's coming..." she whispered as she lifted her by her waist, jumping up against the sealing. "Where are Matsuo and Kimu when you need them..."she thought to herself.

Matsuo nods "Yeah, they are probably getting worried about us by now" Matsuo heads out the door with Kimu and Kumiko.

Three men in long black robes stood infront of the closed door, chanting. Also standing in front of the window, all three of them seemed to flicker in the light, as if they were candles. Still chanting, the one who stood in front walked straight through the door. The remaining two men disappeared through the floor as the chanting came to an end.

"Is that posible?" she thinks, watching as the men walk through the solid door. "Are they dead?" Rin didn't know if she should run or keep still, she stays put

As Ayane pushed herself and Rin off of the ceiling, she landed softly on the ground. "Demons. Either that or possessed by them. For them to do those chants, regular visitors who come on a daily base get hypnotized. I think that explains part of the late night's abandonment. It was soo obvious also..." She walked through the door as she put her hand on the handle. "Wanna stalk some creatures?" she asked, laughing softly at Rin.

" sound good to me" Aya and Rin open the door slowly looking in to see the Three men in robes aproch a chair were a yung boy was tyed up. The boy mouth was rapped in a cloth and the boy apeared to be out cold. " Aya what are they doing to him?"

Ayane looked at the scene as she walked up to the boy, not even bothering to take a single glance at the three men. "He's faintly alive. Tsk Tsk. You naughty demons have been feasting on him." She turned around, sheeting her scythe as she did so. Her eyes glowed grey as she tilted her head to the left. "Rin, behind you!" Aya said as she threw a dagger at Rin, hoping she'd catch it.

Rin catching the dagger turns, stabing a Demon right between its red eyes. blood drips from the cut but doesn't stop the demon, who grabs Rin by the thost and throws her across the larg room. Rin hits the wall. a littles shacken she stands up and clears her thought. "how did it do that?" She eyes Aya, making sure shes doing ok. Rin run at the demon who still had the dagger in its head.

Aya smirked as the three men looked at her. "The two of you aren't from around here are you?" one of the men asked. "Well that's alright, we'll get you anyway..." Aya winked as she put her hand over her scythe as a gold circle surrounded her. Her eyes went black, as she laughed. "Demon, do not speak to me." She said, tilting her head to the left as she let out a giggle. Then, three circles caught the three men, and as they fought against it, Aya began to whisper a spell.

Rin jumps into the demon pulling the dagger out of its body. she backfilps and lands by Aya. "wow, i don't think iv ever done that befor." she listens as Aya chants the spell. She moves over to the boy, still alive, and starts to untie him from the chair. " can you hear me?" The boy slightly moves his head. Rin looks over the boy making sure hes not phisicaly hurt.

Aya smirked. With Rin and the boy safely behind her she said the last words to her spell. "Etma Iigo Mort.." With that, the room filled itself with a bright golden light, and within seconds, the demon nor the men were to be found. Ayane threw her scythe up the air as it slowly dissappeared into thin air. Her eyes turned back to normal, as she turned around. "Hey, is he alright? Or is his condition worse than we'd expected?"

" I don't know. i think he'll be ok now that the Demons are gone. we should get him to an Inn for some rest and food. Rin lifts the thin boy up into her arm with great ease. " aww Aya, he's so thin."

"Thin? Poor boy. Those demons weren't feeders... What were they up to..?" Aya scratched the back of her head. "Want me to carry him or should I just watch your back?" she asked, looking at the boy in Rin's arms. It was obvious he was in a bad condition.

" well your a better fighter, and im fine with carrying him." they head back to the Inn they had stayed at the night befor. Rin could feel the boys breathing so they were ok for now. they walked quickly un aware of there suroundings

Ayane walked about a mile behind Rin. That way she could observe what dangers were to approach her and the boy who'se identity was still unknown. So far, nothing out of the ordinary was around, and by the time they approached the inn, there was still nothing that had been weird. "Perhaps it's best if we move straight up to our room." Aya took of her cloak and wrapped the boy in it, hiding his face as she lifted him onto her shoulder. "Rin, open up the window. I'm jumping up the balcony with him. That'd be best for now." Within seconds, Ayane jumped up and ran along the side of the building, her long black hair moving in the wind as she frontflipped onto the balcony leading to their room.
