butterfly effect...two endings

The butterfly effect

so Im wondering whos seen the butterfly effect and I also want to see which endings you like best either the first one where even goes back in time and dismisses the whole idea of making friends with that girl or the other one where he goes back and kills himself in his mothers womb??

Eh.. I think I like the first one better. The other one seemed so ridiculous to me..

I like the one where he kills himself. The happy ending is a little too cliche for me

How is the first ending a happy ending at all?
He loses the girl and everything!

To go back into the womb is way too far fetched.

I like the first one, because i like the scene at the end in which he sees her again walking on the sidewalk but she doesn't recognize him but he still has the memories of her and all of that.

Theater Ending, the one anti-mainstreamist (i hate happii endiings) hate xD

I watched the "Directors intended ending" on Youtube, and laughed my head off!!
A baby choking itself with an umbilical cord! On purpose!
It had no style...it was so dang cheesy, that if I saw it in the theater I would have screamed and fell on the dirty sticky floor in a fit of giggles.

That ending could have worked, if Evan had maneuvered himself around the umbilical cord, and been born breached. Not literally picking up the cord and choking himself.
Even if Evan was adult minded, he was not at an adults strength, putting SOME logic into movie, a baby has no physical strength to that degree.

Geez, if it is death everyone wanted. He could have even blasted his brains out when he was a young child.
