If you'd rather just keep them in one spot, Thoth, then that's what you do. You don't HAVE to move them. It's just there for if you do.
Me, I moved mine according to where their natural habitat would be, with the exception of the nobles and exalteds. They go in the special castle plot.

I decided that I shouldn't be keeping stages of pets if I've filled in the accomplishment. So I'm evolving them and sending them to herds to finish my herd accomplishments. :)

That's cool lol. If they're old pets I don't want to send them to herds for sentimental reasons XD. But if I've already filled the accomplishment I don't know what to do with them. I mean the herd accomplishment haha. Granted I've only filled the Lazuli accomplishment so far. But still... haha. I'm submitting the lowest evolutions so it takes longer XD.

I finally was able to upgrade my castle to level 2. I'm working on upgrading my campsite to level 3 now. I just need a whole bunch more wood. ^.^
