I'm new to menewsha and noticed there was a forum to post your art. Figured I do so since Tetris is making me mad at the moment :P

Posting two of my favorites at the moment. I may add more as time goes by.

I just joined the site about a week ago and haven't had much chance to explore other than playing tetris, haha. So not sure about the whole avatar shops.

Sometimes the line arts look better than the final versions XD Reference came from Nikxstock @ DA.

I will color this in the next week or so.

Ever since I saw your art, I've been a fan! your style is really... sassy! Its pretty and it looks like its got an attitude! I don't know how to explain it but its just art with attitude!

You should work for Cartoon Network or something because you have a lot of talent! :)

Aw thank you pa-pancake! I am glad my art has sass. I never wanted my art to just be "pretty" - I've always tried to somehow portray some attitude like you described so that's awesome to hear.

I love Cartoon Network's style they put into all their shows. Each one is so unique. I am honored that you think my style would fit in with theirs. :heart: :D I probably could never work for any sorta of television place though as I have no skill in animation whatsoever.

Your artwork is definitely pretty. There's no doubt about that! But it has that something extra about it. The colours you use are very basic and it seems like in every piece, you don't use that many colours, but it still turns out really good. Nothing too eye-blaring but it catches my attention. Like your purple Valentine's Day drawing. Its simple with only a few colour tones but it turned out lovely, the shading is on the hair is really great and the detail on the rose too.

I can't wait to see you colour your 'applying makeup' drawings! They look like they would turn out really sassy too! And I was wondering if I could use on of your drawings for my desktop wallpaper? I won't be spreading it around, just for personal use.

And you could work for cartoon network. My boyfriend works in 3D animation and well, animators aren't exactly all great at drawing so they usually need reference art to create characters and your art would be great for reference. I can practically imagine your pictures moving and talking ^^"

I have all three of the makeup drawings finished I just need to get them colored. I'm trying to decide the color schemes I want since I really want them to go together as a finished piece. I'll figure it out soon I'm sure.

I never thought about the animators not being able to draw. That does make sense though. I've meet a lot of designers that are not able to draw so they rely on other people (like myself) to do any of the illustrations that they would need for a piece. It would be really awesome to see a character I drew turn into a cartoon. It would give it a second life, so to say :D

Angelic Cat: I'm glad you like the piece! I should have some more up shortly. Right now I've just been drawing a ton of line arts that I need to color. So I'll probably do a big art spam here in a week or so.

Finished coloring "Raspberry Lipstick" which I posted earlier as a line art. I have the other two drawn of the series and should have them all colored in the next day or two.

I have a terrible artist's block and its not going away...
