When Amber cought up with Umay and Celest she pulled them in the bushes and siad "stay low"

WHen Shadow saw that Tyson was near them he yelled "get out of here before the bear gets you" but the bear started to charge after Tyson and Shadow jumped infront of the bear and growled "you are not goin gto touch my son" the bear roared and glared at Shadow

"I wanna help!" Tyson said, happy that he was called 'son'. He padded over to the bears behind, sniffed it, made a face like he hated it, then bit into it.

The bear turned to Tyson and tryed to scratch it with its hug claws. But Shadow saw it coming and pushed tyson out of the way. THe bears claws scratched Shadow but he just growled at the bear more. "like I said before stay away from my son" then turned and grabed tyson by the scruff of his neck and ran for it.

"Wheeee!" Tyson laughed as he was carried away. "Wow! Did you see that Celest? Tyson bit the bears bottom!" Umay squealed as Shadow ran.

Amber looked at Umay and Celest "come children this way" she said and ran after Shadow

Shadow stoped when he could not smell the bear anymore and droped Tyson. "what were you thinking" he growled at Tyson and blood covered his fur where the bear scratched him "you could have been killed."

"Coming!" Celest and Umya caught up to Shadow and Tyson. "Um.......... I was.......... helping?" he tried that way out. "Did you see him Alpha Person?! He bit the bear's bottom!" Umay announced. "Eww, your covered in blood." Celest said.

Shadow just sighed and licked Tyson "I am just glad that your okay, but please dont try anything like that ever again" he said then turned to Celest and Umay "yes I did see but never try anything like that okay, it was very dangerous"

Amber smiled happy to see that pups okay

Hazel had heard them when they were running, and she went to find out whats wrong. "Are you guys racing?" she asked, then saw Shadow condition. "O my gosh! Your covered im blood!" she rushed over and started licking Tyson. "Did something bad happen?!"

Shadow looked at Hazel "A bear came and tryed ot get the kids. I stoped it from following them but tyson here tryed to help me so we had to run for it"

"Mama! mama! He bit the bear's bottom!!" Umay squealed for the third time. "Really? Wow, you must be very brave." she told Tyson, licking him. "But Shadow is right, Don't go rushing into danger, You'll end up as messy as Shadow and you'll have to take a bath." "Nooooo!"

Shadow looked at Hazel "I am not that messy and at least it wasn't as bad as the mountain lion attack."

"True." she sighed. "Everyone! Into bed, its been a long day." "Awwwwww." "What mountain lion attack?" Tyson asked.

Shadow sighed and looked at Tyson then at Hazel. "I am going to have a word with him" he said and took Tyson by the scruff of his neck and walked away. He needed to talk to him about being responsable.

Umay giggled. "Tyson's in trouble!" Hazel gave her a glare and she stopped.

"hey! Let go!!!" Tyson squirmed, he didn't like being held this way.

Shadow soon stoped and droped tyson. "Okay that was very brave of you back there but also stupid. If you plan on being a Alpha you have to learn to chose your battles and also when it is time to retreat."

Tyson was just going to let him talk. He would be an Alpha, and he knew one thing: Fight, and make your way to the top. He was one of three males, and he was kin of the already-Alpha, so there was no arguement on who would be Alpha next: Him. There wouldn't be any 'proving yourself', its an inheritance thing.

Shadow saw that he wasn't listening to him and growled slightly. "if you dont listen I am not going to tell you about the mountain lion attack."

"Mama will tell me!" he said stubbornly. "We asked her last night, she said she would tell us tonite!" he smiled. "I don't know why Mama didn't notice that thing in your eye, it's freaky." with that he dashed back to camp. "Umay! Celest! guess what?! Mama's going to tell us the Mountain Lion story!!"

Shadow sighed and walked over to Hazel. "we should really tell them the truth soon" he whispered to her

"Hmm. I'll tell them tonight." she promised. She called them around. "Ok now! Who wants to hear the Story Of The Mountain Lion?" she said in a low voice. The cubs always loved story time, She was a good story teller. "Now, I was walking along..."

Shadow smiled and layed down next to Hazel to listen

Amber and ben came over too and to listen

"..... and that's how it all happened." she finished. "Woah!!!!!"Umay bounced over to Shadow."Your strong!!!!!!! And While we were being born!!!!!" The cubs were bouncing around now. "We might have to move storytime to when we wake up." Hazel said amused. "Everyone, out! It's time for the kids bedtime." "Awwwwww."

Ben and Amber left but shadow stayed and looked at Hazel. "it is time to tell them" he siad softly

"I know. Now shoo. Want you out as well. This is a children-Mother thing." she said, getting up. "Shoo!" she pushed him out. "Ok guys, you want one more story?" "Yeah! Make it about Dad and him fighting something!" Tyson begged. "Well, this is about Shadow, But not about fighting." she corrected.

Shadow smiled as he left, layed down in the grass and looked up into the sky
