Alex soon got bored with the water and got out. He went back to running but this time he was going to run on all fours.

"Yeah, but I can't take any chances." he sighed. "I wish he would go with that Sarah person and leave." Celest gasped. "How could you?" she demanded.

Alex was so focused on running that he didn't relize that he ran right into a trap and fell into a hole.

A hunter on the outside smerked when he saw something fall into his hole

"Well, I-" "Well you nothing! He is our friend and if you are willing to push him out of the way for that, frankly I won't let you!" Celest yelled. she dove out in search of Alex.

Alex had been knocked unconsouse when he fell into the hole.

The hunter was surprised to find a boy in his trap but then saw how wild he looked and smiled as he thought about putting him on desplay to get some money. He stuck Alex into a bag and started to head back to the town.

Celest saw a man stick Alex in a bag. I can't attack the man... I was never as violent as my siblings..... she looked at the bag. why isn't he struggling? Is he.... She shook her head. "No." she muttered. Umay and Tyson popped up behind her. "What is it..." Umay trailed off as she saw the bag. "We have to go after him!" Celest said. "Yeah, but what about.." The two girls looked at Tyson. He was nearly full-grown, he could help fight. "Alright, I'm coming." he muttered and they leaped after the man.

The man hear something but continued to walk. soon Alex had woken up and was kicking inside th back trying to get out.

They were stalking the man. Celest in the trees, Tyson in the undergrowth, and Umay was darting between trees. Soon they were five feet away from him, Tyson was perfectly able to jump on the man. "Should I?" he signaled to Celest. "Wait for it...."

After a little bit Alex managed to rip a hole in the back. When he hit the gorund he twerled around and bit into the mans leg without thinking. The man screamed in pain

"Now!" Tyson lept at the man, landing on his shoulders. Umay bit at his feet while Celest head-butted him in the ribs.

The man fell to the ground surprised by the others. Alex let go of his leg soon and the man hurryed off screaming that there was a wild man on the lose.

"Whee! We beat him!" Umay chased her tail in excitement. "Wow!" Celest leaped up happily. Tyson just smiled but didn't say anything.

Alex smiled and whiped the blood from his mouth. "thanks for your help" he said happly

"Come on, let's go back and tell Mama!" Umay said. Tyson led the way back as they marveled at their skill.

Alex nodded and on the way back he didn't walk with them. He was in the tree tops working on jumping from tree to tree

They burst into the clearing. "Guess what we did?!" They told Hazel the entire story.

Alex smiled and listend to them as they told her. He was chewing on grass trying to get the tast of blood out of his mouth

Finally, Celest and Umay were so tired, they fell asleep. Tyson pretended to fall asleep, but he was really thinking.

Alex made himself at home under a tree and continued to chew on grass since he had not been able to get the tast of blood out of his mouth yet

what am I going to do? I can't let Alex be Alpha! Maybe I can talk to mom... later... soon he was asleep too.

Alex soon found himself leaning agenst the tree fallsing asleep

Hazel padded over to Shadow. "How about I take out the cubs while you teach Alex some things." she suggested. "They need some battle training."

Shadow nodded "good Idea, I think Alex and Tyson need some time away form each other."

"Hmm. Male rivalry." she confirmed.

"yeah they are but I think Alex don't really care for being Alpha, he just want to be better then Tyson" shadow said as he looked at Alex
