Woot ^^, i haven't had a penpal in ages. The last one i had from gaia lived in the U.S i wrote to her when she went to jail lol. I know that sounds weird ... but shes really a nice chick and what happened was kind of an accident. But yeah :P

My friend from Australia who owns rufflesrpg, i wrote to her and sent her stuff last year. :P

A few years ago there was this penpal exchange here on Menewsha. I had three penpals and couldn't keep up with them. One of them stopped writing me and I decided to just write my other pals and tell them I couldn't write anymore. D: I'm good now though. I really love writing. :D It will give me something to look forward to during the school year.

I had another penpal from ...well, I don't remember. It's been too long and we lost touch. It's been about five or six years. He sent me this awesome candy from his country that isn't here in the US. He also sent me some shampoo. :XD!!!!

I usually just send post cards or something (along with the letters). But there are times I will send people other stuff, too.

Yeah same here, i just send letters, then if they're a good penpal i might send something special on a bday or something like that :). International mail is quite expensive though when it comes to sending stuff other then letters. I'm big on making things though, so lame xD. I handmade my friend a cookbook (the one in Australia) and she made me some stuffed toys. It was cute! Lol

Well, after the first person did that here on Menewsha (via the Mene Nations forum), I tried to make one. She has disappeared, so I figured why not. I finished the thread layout and everything, but never opened it. Realized I didn't have time to update it. It would be nice to have a few penpals. I wouldn't take more than two or three though.

I couldn't. I am going on my hiatus here and will not be able to keep with it. But I could get a few penpals before I leave. That way I have people to write to.

My last pen pal was my younger cousin. :x We stopped many years ago, though, and he's my neighbor now. Haha. But he's at that "too cool" teenage guy stage, so we dont talk much at all. We were close as kids, though.

Sad when that happens. I used to be close to my cousins, but they're all too good to even talk to me now, heh.

By the way, Roachi, I probably won't write to you until next week. I am moving this Friday (fo sho) and am unsure of the mailing address. But I'll get to it as soon as I can.

nuuuuuuuuu since it was via a magazine, they had to write to the magazine with the number of my article and after a while the magazine sends all the letters of the article to the owner! so no I never got to see that freaky dude! I mean wtf he wrote 3 letters, (2 in priority mail)

Mine aren't too bad. Just not that close. I think it also bothered him that his little friends usually started crushing on me. xP;; I remember that I was a counselor at the camp thing that all the sixth graders go to each year around here, and his little friends were always trying to talk to me and one took a picture of me. lol I was tempted to confinscate his camera. It was when we were in the dining area, and I was walking past their table and he called my name, so I turned and and just saw a flash. The little twit!

I would always wonder what to write to penpals that you're friends with online, since its so much easier to just type up stuff, and then i'd wonder what else there would be to talk about. O_o;;
