I'm doing the busts/head shots pretty much for the same reason, plus it's faster, easier and less of a load.

OOOOKKKkkaaaaayyyyy..... Several hours later... =phew= I am finished... of course... that includes me getting distracted for most of that time, and the other half doing as much quick over-hauls of the profiles as I could as well as hunting down pictures. >_> Yeah, seriously outta date and still needing a revamp, but at least what's important is available for now. If you stumble on someone with no profile but it piques your interest, lemme know... but I should have those hidden for now. :ninja: Everyone has at least one picture available except for three characters. They're actually important to me but I just don't seem to have proper pictures of them! Two of them I DID try to sketch/draw/whatnot but can't locate the images anywhere atm. =continues to search=

Otherwise... I SERIOUSLY need to go in and re-do everyone's profiles.... they're sadly lacking. Of course... I need to go back and do fresh pictures of everyone.... =dies=

Well any general fantasy one might accept such a thing. But I imagine nagas might be hard to write. You couldn't really use things like stride, stroll, trot, or run. I guess you could use slide and slither though.

Ahhh, but role playing a naga it would make it so challenging! Arikana, I'd love to see what kind of character you would create around that! ^_^

one could always use colorful descriptions such as "she moved" and "she approached", as well as "she flicked her tail" and so on and so forth.

Mmm.. but even though I love challenges, I'm not much of a roleplayer.. so having a challenge for roleplaying would make me lazy to do it. XP

Whoo hoo vocabulary! Sometimes a thesaurus is handy too for when you can't quite remember the word you want.

Mmm.. thesauruses are awesome. : D

But so is reading lots and lots of books. It's definitely a better way to increase one's vocabulary than by just relying on a thesaurus.

@arikana - I find thesauruses should be used when you forget things, but that the actual learning of words is better left to things like reading. You can tell when people just attack the thesaurus and use words they don't know.

I own more books than I can possibly handle and my stack of "in progress" or "not started" is enormously high. I even managed to pull off writing a book instead of taking an english class this semester. :'D Yay reading.
