So, Valentine's Day..
Alright Mene. What's gonna be on your playlist for Valentine's Day?
Me? I'm going with My Bloody Valentine, (not to be confused with Bullet for My Valentine, ew) and their album, Loveless. Hur hur hur. I'm not much for sappy love songs. |
Kiss from a Rose by Seal, you know Heidi Klum's hubby. I like sappy songs, but when they get overly sappy I laugh.
|
Oh man, good song! I totally remember it from Batman. o_o
|
Valentines day tends to be a normal day for me, so I'm not trying to listen to anything special. Although I do seem to be listening to The Decemberists a lot today.
|
Yeah my play list never really changes but I'm definitely in the mood for romantic songs so I won't skip my sappy songs like I usually do today ^^"
|
I mostly listened to period music on Valentines Day. I was working at the Ren Faire.

I made a playlist for my Mom and Da because I made them dinner and all taht (with a nice little table that my sis set up and the lights turned way down low.)
On it, I had: Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye and Business Time by Flight of the Conchords It was really supposed to be a funny playlist, rather than romantic. |

I'm not much of a romantic and, like you, sappy love songs do nothing for me.
But this past Valentine's, to commemorate the day, I did listen to two unsappy love songs. ;P Twilight Garden by The Cure and Flames by VAST. |
Captain Howdy, you win major points for VAST. Now that I think of it, I should have listened to Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi. I adore Bon Jovi.

Yay! I'm not the only one who didn't crack open the soft rock for Valentines. >w< |
Wow, never thought I'd see a VAST mention around here...particularly on V-Day. :)
