Catching up on stuff today, while watching cycle 6 of ANTM on Youtube.

The games really are fun over there. I still love my little blumaroo, even if he is tail-disabled now. (Read the "all other sites" thread for my elaborations on that idea.)

Today while waiting for the library network to come back up I read Flight 4 & 5 and started reading the novel Rumo, which is great fun.

I have the fan fic argument all the time, I don't really mean it, but I do. Like, one of my writer friends says how he just has a bigger audience with fan fic than his original work. Like from thousands to hundreds. Which is sad, I think. I did fan fic until I was in my late 20's. I was like, omg, I'm not going to do this the rest of my life. I just feel better having drawn the line. I feel it will pay off in the end.

Flight 4 and 5 were continuations of the graphic anthology series Flight, it's just a very strong US comic series. Short stories from many creators, really good and the quality of these two is a lot more consistent than 2 and 3.

Rumo is an epic adventure story, satire, by a German author/illustrator. It stars a doglike creature, in a a saving the world kind of thing. Lots of fun so far. "Rumo" is the name of the dog, and a card game that plays a part throughout the book.
