Vidd:.Well, you only have one item on you, so I can only give you advice to start. Firstly, find an item or color combo that you really like, and begin to work with that. Try to keep the colors distributed evenly throughout your avatar, and try to make sure that the colors match with each-other as much as possible. So if you're using, let's say, a dark red, you want to try to make sure that all your reds are sort of dark. You also want items that at least remotely look like they belong together. For example, you tend not to wear running shoes with fancy dresses. Here on menewsha that can actually sort of work, if you go for a mixed theme and can manage to make the outfit look together anyway. But I'd definitely look out for that. I hope that helps somewhat. Oh purple one! I stopped by the other night and told you "My avi is not much for rateing since I just joined the other day" or something along those lines.. I have come back.. avi still not much for rateing, but I would like to know... how is my avi comeing along?

I think you're off to a good start, particularly with the reds. They're more evened out than the other colors. I suggest putting some yellow, silver, and blue at your feet, yellow at the middle and top of your avi, and blue at the top, as well. Oh, and when I say blue, I mean the dark blue. That other blue is sort of difficult to match and you're better off covering, which you've started to do ^^

Zeapear, you have way too much going on with little organization. There are a lot of colors and only the red is close to being evenly distributed. The first thing I would to is get rid of the background, wings, sword, and tree. Then I'd look at the remaining items and see which ones I'd really like to pick. Right now the colors you have a are really difficult to organize. |

I think the combination of colors is subtle, but very effective. I also love the hints of skin here and there. There are some big chunks of color that can get to be a bit distracting, and perhaps you need some more black on your avatar, but I'd hate to ruin the look of the avatar, as I already like it. You made this look good without using tons of items, which what I usually lean towards, so good job! 8.9/10 |

COLORS! Your avatar looks so fun and bouncy. I think you balanced the blues out pretty well, although it gets to feel a bit topheavy. The colors also contrast nicely with the skin. Some of the items do flow a bit strangely, though. I'm also not sure if the black is necessary, or if you had to add it because of a particular item? I would almost suggest you remove it. And get one of those Starry elven hats. It's yellow and red, so you'd switch to the purple rose instead. I would also choose a different belt. I'm not a fan of those, but the reason I'm saying this is because for this avatar, the drastic angle change makes it look like there's too much going on,and it obscures the other items a bit too much. Hm.. you need something really bright around your neck. Yellow bow tie, maybe?
Right now I'd say 7/10, because of some flow issues, and a bit of balance. |
