I think you have more color variety than I do because it kind of does look like I have more commons. Lots of purple, of course, but not as much as people would think.

So what do you think. It's so hard for me to back away from red and black and silver, so I'm hoping purple and black and gold is enough of a variation... |
Bahahaha. I will NEVER, EVER stop using purple. I stopped once and people literally couldn't recognize me without reading my name first XD
I think the shoes you're using really limit what you can do with your legs. A way to avoid that might be to try some black and purple pin-up pants to bring some purple towards the bottom. That green also stands up quite a bit so instead of a stone floor maybe some grass instead? Also, I'm kind of getting a theme here, and kind of not. I'm assuming you're going for a butterfly-type deal, right? Are you going for any particular color first? 4/10 for now because it feels incomplete, and isn't really where I think you want it to be. |

@Misha: Very few items so far, it's very hard to rate WIP's, but for starters, unless you're incorporating black, I'd chose different socks. You also need to incorporate brown. 3/10 x.x.
@Seer: This is very lovely :o I think maybe some silver shoes would help you balance out the bottom. Would you be okay with trying a silver harp and maybe changing the belt to something smaller so that silver doesn't overwhelm that area? I kind of see your character as an elder, elegant elf-type person with very dextrous fingers for some reason.. XD I'm worried it might be a bit dark, though.. 7/5/10 |

Puuuuurple. <3Too much dark purple near the legs and head so there's not enough contrast. I'd maybe choose some differet lips, as well.That red starts to stand out a biiiit too much. Also, there's no blue anywhere ad that makes the Pudao stand out more than you do. Maybe switch some dark purples for hints of blue instead? Also needs a bit more light purple on the lower and upper area. Lighter hair will help. Also, plan on adding more black, or no?

Pretty neat. I don't read Valentine's into it as much but I guess that's why you said "ish". the balance are pretty neat. If you're going to use silver, you need to use more of it, not just 2 items (3 depending on how you count the fan, but I wouldn't call it silver). The balance is pretty good overall, but it needs more pink at the head. It also needs a few hints of white because of how dominating the white on that fan can get.
6.9/10 for this one. If you want to lean a little more towards theme while you work for balance try some oriental-looking stuff. I'm starting to like those shoes and that fan together. To make color balance a bit easier...well..is there a red/gold version of those shoes? You might be able to replace them and then replace the silver belt, too. |

@aq_aria: Since there's no clear theme, I'm going by colors here. You have almost no items that match each-other, and that might be because I got you in the middle of changing or something. There's two shades of blues, two shades of purples, and you've got silver and white going on. I'd tone down the amount of colors/shades until you've balanced out 2-4 pretty well. 1/10 @Lynne: Another nice one. I have issues with the blacks and browns, though. The black on your shoulders is really distracting, and the brown is barely there. I recommend choosing one of those over the other. Right now leaning towards the brown since it's more interesting. 7/10 @Roachi: Let me know if you want a rate now or later, then :o not sure if you're done or not. I notice colors quickly XD @Stress: All items are from this event in some shape or form (minus the waist bow) so points down on creativity. Setting that aside, too much white, not enough black in the middle, too much pink at the top. 4/10. @Elwing: IT'S NOT BLUE lol. It needs a hint of green at the bottom. Your wrist area is starting to get a little confusing, too. Not sure you need that ribbon there, it's starting to look cluttered when the rest of your avi has a different flow/balance to it. Some back on the top of your head would be nice, since it's such a dominating color down at the bottom. Too much red around your hips in general. 6/10 |
