Clary smiled and took a few sticks and stuck some apples on them. Then stuck them around the fire. "they should be done in a few minutes" she said as she sat down next to the fire and Reppamon sat down next to her. She smiled at him and petted his head gently |
"Yay," Scotty said very joyous and energetically.
"Yeaahhh," Grunnymon said. |
Rezzo and Sunmon also sat by the fire and watched the meat apples cooked with drool trickling down their mouths. "They smell awesome!!" Rezzo exclaimed, "Too bad we don't have barbeque sauce." "What's that?" Sunmon asked. "It's an amazing sauce that makes everything taste better."

Momoko shook her head in dissagreement, sitting beside Rezzo and his digimon. She had a habit of sitting a bit closer to the fire, as if ready to block someone from accidentally touching it or something.
"Honey Barbeque sauce is waaay better!" she chirped out happily, swaying side to side in glee while her digimon looked at her like she was insane. |
Sunmon widened his eyes and shifted away from the crazy girl. But Rezzo just grinned. "Nuh-uh, regular barbeque sauce is better!!" He replied, "No... spicy barbeque sauce is the best!!"

"NU-UH!," Grunnymon said objectively,"Sweat and Sour barbecue is WAAAAAAAAY BETTEEER!"
"YOU SAID IT GRUNNYMON!," Scotty agreed. |
Luna just laughed at the two of them. "Well, It appears we are an an impasse." she said, shrugging. "I wonder how these things are going to taste by themselves?" She poked one of the apples that they were storing for later when a thought occurred to her.
"Clary, how are you going to know when they're done?" |
Calumon blinked and looked up at Yukito, as though asking "What's wrong with them?" He then spoke his thoughts aloud.
"Don't they know buns are the yummiest?" Yukito giggled. "They're talking about sauces, though." He then looked up, thoughtfully. "But I think chocolate syrup sauce is the best." He whispered, neglecting the point he had just made to Calumon about it being irrelevant. |
Clary smiled at momoko "if they are anything like I have cooked you have to wait till the outside of it is brown." she said as she took one off the fire. She looked at it and smiled"and I would have to say they are about done now" Clary said as she handed the cooked meat apple to Momoko and smiled

Momoko took it with a smile. "Thank you!" She went to pass it to Rezzo so everyone would get one and her last. She was a bit unnerved at trying the new food, but it didn't look that bad, and it actually smelled pretty yummy as well!
Her stomach growled and she blushed. That had to be as loud as Scotty's before. She looked over at Yuki, worried about his diet of cream buns. He needed protein too! "Yuki, come try this with us, alright?" |
"O-M-G, this is so good," Grunnymon said stuffing his face with two meat apples.
"Stop stuffing your face Grunnymon. Save some for the others," Scott said while stuffing his face with three meat apples. ((I love my characters. They are such dorks. xD)) |
Calumon blinked. "But there are apples in Yukito's bag too." He explained, popping back into the little one's rucksack. Bobbing back up to the surface, Calumon revealed a bag of apples, as well as alongside it some other things like a small sack of potatoes and some meat wrapped up. It seemed that Yukito was one prepared little camper.
However, while Calumon was pointing out the solution to Momoko's problem, Yukito still decided to go over, sitting down next to Momoko, thinking she perhaps was in a cuddly mood again. |
Momoko was shocked. "Oh! You have normal food!" She ruffled his hair. "That was a good idea, Yuki! Make sure you don't just eat the cream buns, okay? And do you mind if we use some of your stuff to make meals?" she held the meat apple in her hands and stared at it for a second. There was going to be a day when all of Yuki's stuff would be gone, so...
"Would you like to try it anyway?" |
"So full now," Grunnymon said.
"We got normal food?!?!?! But I'm so full now," Scotty said. |

Yukito looked up into Momoko's eyes, unsure about sharing his food with the others. He knew it was the right thing to do, but... The other people looked like they could be just as easily mean, like those ones from before. However... For Momoko...

Clary smiled at Yuki and Momoko. Then sighed a little, She was happy here, it was less stressfull here and it was a lot better then home. When she thougth of home some tears built up in her eyes but she wiped them away quickly. she did miss her room at home and her parents but only a little. She smiled at Reppamon and petted his head slightly.

"So Grunnymon can you explain to me how digimon work? I'm still a bit confused. And why was this thing glowing when you digivolved," Scott asked
"That is a digivice. It helps me digivolve. Digimon are hatched from eggs into their In-Training form. Then evolve to Rookies when they get stronger. After that is Champions, then it is Ultimate. And the last one is Mega. There is also two more versions but, I will just tell you later," Grunnymon said. "Okay then," Scott said. |
Momoko smiled gratefully and hugged the boy close. "You're such a good person, Yuki-chan!" She owed him. Once they got back to camp she'd buy him a dozen cream buns! Surveying the other children she noticed Clary wipe her eyes and sighed.
"You alright Clary?" Demileomon, meanwhile, had pounced on his prey (apple) and was gnawing at it cutely. In his head he was a big lion savagely attacking a deer. |
Clary nodded "yay I am fine just thinking about home" she said softly. Then smiled at Momoko and looked down. Reppamon looked at her worryed and licked her cheek. Clary smiled and hugged Reppamon tightly. More tears rolled down her cheek as she pressed her face into Reppamons fur.

Yukito giggled, and blushing a little, hugged Momoko. He liked her hugs the most. She was pretty much the only one to give him hugs, but the point did not lose any significance for it.
Calumon meanwhile had to look on, watching DemiLeomon savage the apple. "Ohhhh~" |
"When you guys are all done we will leave to save the rest of the digimon with dark orbs!" Scott said.

Momoko looked at Scotty with concern and worry on her face.
"Are you sure? Do we have to...?" She didn't mean to sound like a coward, but she was more worried for the people around her then her own safety...how could she protect them? One arm still wrapped around Yuki in a hug she pat Clary's back gently. "It's alright. We'll be home soon." Demileomon let out a growl and a burp when he was done with the apple. "The lion has eaten it's prey." He said with a nod. |
