Haha! Well, something like that. I'm a bit more official than unofficial, but there are more greeters than just me. There are quite a few moderators here on the site that keep the forums clean and I am one of them. We usually take care of more than one forum at a time. I have four forums I try to look at as often as I can. I don't look at them by myself however, I just happened to be the first mod to greet you. I'm one of those attached to the Fresh meat forums X'D

Oh then you get the fun job of cleaning up people's messes. xD I had that job once for a while at a website called bzpower.com. It was a Bionicle site, and prone to spam, given the series' was geared towards kids. I left due to personal issues with the admins, but I still smile when I look back on it. :)

The feathers are for the Event Items that you can get on the event page. They are little heart boxes that you can trade teh feathers for prizes.

I'd hate to have a disagreement with the AA's here. They're all cool, and so is Insomniac (the administrator). Fun guy to talk to >w< He's quite busy, though. I like writing too, I just don't like time limits. The feathers are for the event going on right now. From the looks of things you've joined a team already. So basically hit anyone that isn't on your team. You get feathers, and with the feathers, you get event items. To get to the event items page, go to general discussion, and then to the valentine's 09 subforum. On the right-hand side, there should be heart-shaped boxes. The colored ones are the ones that are available. Just scroll down and you should be able to see them ^^ |

Even if you aren't really good at making topics about yourself, it seems like your replies have already told me enough about you for to have an attribute to remember you by ^^ And yeah, the admins and staff here are really friendly people. they sometimes come across as just normal users because I never see them abuse their power. And the other users here are friendly too and easy to get along with since there are just so many places you can post and make friends when you start a random conversation with someone. ^^ Anyways, I'm just popping by your introduction thread to wish you a warm welcome to the community. Yeah, I've noticed people are quite friendly here, exactly what I was kind of looking for. Sadly I've noticed the bigger the site gets, the harder it is to get on a more personal level with people. Doesn't stop me from trying though. xD I hope I will see you all in the other forums sometime. *goes to try Tetris* ^.^ |
