I am doing well Tiggy.. just relaxing for the most part and working on the event stuff planning and all..lol

I'm not entirely sure. i'll check gimps website for you.

I'm halfway through her hair x.x just started shading it out.

EDIT looks like no, it's not possible to vector in GIMP. i'll try to find a program that can for you though :) I'll make a tutorial too if its a good one.

Ahh that is neat.. Hair is always the last thing I do..lol >.<

@ Tiggy... lol yeah Esme has voted I be put in charge while BBR is away >.< So now I am waiting to see what the others think of it. >.< If I do then I am going to end the auction and have the vote cast for the mascot contest and then I will get stuff to Nivvy and the other artists about the banners and try to work out some payment for banenrs. >.< lol Ahh all the planning I hope to have things all caught up by the end of the week if at all possible.

I work at the part of the doll thats on the 'top' so to speak and work my way into the depth...jacket before undershirt sort of mentality.

Sounds like a lot of work, but I bet it will be loads of fun too. :)

Thanks :) Its nice to hear that, i work hard on my pixels...i have a bad habit of pillow shading though, since so many bases are front-lit nowadays. This one is, so it's so hard not to! XDD

I may have found you a vector program called inkscape. i'm going to check it out and see if it'd be good to learn with.

Ahh pillow shading I don't know how to do that I do it all pixle by pixle. >.< lol I guess that shows my biggenerism...lol

And aww that is neat thank you for looking for me >.< I fear if I looked myself not knowing a lot about it I would get the wrong thing..lol

pillow shading means you shade it with shadows on the outside edges and the highlight right in the center middle--ignoring the dolls shading and light source location. Sucks when you realize you've been doing it.

No problem, i love messing around with new programs. it has tutourials built in!:D

Ahh then I may have done pillow shading on one of the dolls I did for BBR... it was outside shadows and inner highlights.. at least on the skirt. >.< lol

And ahh really that is neat. :) I am kind of excited to expand my digital art skills. :)

So far it's as frustrating as any vector program but i'm figuring it out.

Make sure you set aside an afternoon to read the tutourials some time,the basic one is very helpful so far.

@ Fizi.. lol yeah my hubbys besti came by and Heath was sleeping and didn't want to get up so we sat outside talking for a while..lol We ended up chatting about spirituality and hoodoo... >.< I know odd but it was a facinating conversation as I did not know a lot about it and he did... I just changed the oil on my motor scooter for the first time. It was much easier then changing a car's oil. :) Ooo neato Ivvy, learn anything especially interesting?
