Reporting a Post
Alrighty, I reported a post for rudeness and such.
How will I know if the report went through, etc..? Another thing, will the user be punished? Just wondering. Because if people are reporting my posts for any reason, I'm not getting punished. O: |
Your report will get handled like every other report does. You have to be patient. We are not machines. We are humans with lives and a hell of a work load right now.
Also, the user-staff confidentially is a big thing we pride ourselves on. There is no reason you should be asking about another users warnings, infractions or bannings. |

I was asking about it as a whole.. Like, in general, if a post is reported and filed, blah blah, is punishment handed out to the user who made the post? Example: If someone were to report my post for inappropriate language, would I recieve an infraction? |
you would recieve an infraction, if the mods decide that you deserve one.
it isn't up to members to decide whether someone gets an infraction or not. it is handled case by case :3 |
Bartuc is simply stating that once a user has made a report is it out of their hands :)
Whether someone is punished or not depends entirely on whether the staff feel it is necessary. Often users have an entirely different perception of what breaks the rules, as opposed to what actually does. |
