I think I'm most excited about the Towns 2.0 update. I love Towns (although, it's difficult for me to chat with people, I often get flooded by them xD ) but I do enjoy bug/trash/flower collecting.

I don't like collecting those things much, but that's because they don't actually do much anymore...you have to collect a whole TON of bugs if you want ink for tattoos, and the items you get for exchanging trash/flowers aren't all that great.
But it would be fun if I felt like I wasn't doing it for no reason. :)
Do you think they'll add more to Towns instead of just updating it? 8D

I hope so! New areas to explore would be great. With actual hills and stuff to climb, different buildings. They said it's be sort of like zOMG, without the animated.

I used Towns when it was first released for a little while, but I got bored of that reaaaallyy quickly. It just seems kinda pointless to me. The forums are meant for socialization, not Towns. I dunno. It just wasn't for me. Last time I tried using it, there were too many kids wanting to cyber. No thanks! :talk2hand:

And actually, I don't go into the forums on Gaia cause it seems it's not much better there... :\

The only forums I post in on Gaia are Breedable & Changing Pets, Site Feedback and Gaia Community DIscussion. :yes: And really, I just read SF and GCD for the most part... I pretty much just change my avatar, check out new items and that's about it... :sweat: I dunno. Gaia got boring for me.

The cyberers tend to flee when I enter Towns xD It's kind of funny. There was once though, where I was sitting there talking to people and there were two n00bs cybering a bit away from us and my friends are like: "Really? Really. You're going to cyber when there's an FA right here? Stupid!" XD I just reported/ignored them.

I frequent friend's quest threads, CB on occasion since I'm friends with many of the regulars. And I help out on the DMv2 Guild so that keeps me busy almost all the time. I don't like posting out of my comfort zone, nono XD

Dolphin Mania v2. It was a text based booty grab site, which Gaia had allowed for almost eight months. Then Lanzer and the creator of the site called each other, and decided it was best to close it down to help the inflation. I helped update the site, and now, I update the guild. ^^

Why's the guild still up if it's not allowed anymore?
I guess I found out about Dolphin Mania a little too late, eh? xD But I heard someone say on Gaia(I was looking through the proposals for spring cleaning) that the way they made gold was by buying low and selling high. No booty grab or zomg or anything. o: So I've got a plan now, lol.

Well the guild would be fine, it's the site they no longer allow. They are called "aggregation" sites, and there were a couple of them. We turned the guild into a booty grabbing guild, and that's of course allowed.

Ohhh I see. A lot of people say they can make tons of gold quick with booty grab...but I can barely get any even if I'm looking through those threads that have tanks made up of water meats or mermaids. So I gave up. : D Plus it's not good for inflation either, right? o.o

Dolphins are probably the best tank to play. I can make, on average, 2k per game from them. Thankfully, they took dolphins out of Phin Phang. So eventually they'll die off, and won't drop as much gold. I like the idea of Booty Grab, but I don't think it should have ever gone on this far. Green gold would be all right I guess, but they should keep the blue gold drops on more expensive fish, like Watermeats. They're $8 a piece, and Dolphins dropped 5 (red) gold and were $5 a piece. Too much gold is baaaaad ; 3;

Oh, I had given up on Booty Grab before the dolphins came. No wonder I didn't get the name of Dolphin Mania... xD
I kinda like the idea of Booty Grab too, but I wonder if Gaia's inflation would go down if they got rid of it? And how many people would riot outside Gaia's HQ if they did? xD

Since people paid real money to fill their tanks, I don't think they could really just "take it away". And since it's a feature almost everyone uses, there would be lots of riots xD

Booty Gra Bug Fixes to Help Reduce Inflation

I'm secretly hoping they'll put a gold earning cap on booty grab, like the max here. Earning 100k an hour is too much (and easy with BG, I've done it). Make it 100k a day max. I'd be happy with that.

That's a great idea! That way you could make a decent amount of gold, but it wouldn't get too crazy.
(100k an HOUR? Really? If a lot of people can do that easily, think of how much gold is pouring into the system every day. O_O)

Absolutely. I made 300k in 5 hours of booty grabbing, which included breaks and such. It wasn't five hours straight. XD I know people who have made 1 million gold in three days grabbing ._.
