Did anyone else find the sponsor themes a little silly/annoying? I understand the principles of "you fund this and we'll put your name/items all over the place" that sponsorship usually comes with, but the Ubisoft items and the Skittles things they came up just...did not mesh.

Yea. Gaia doesn't belong to Gaia anymore, it belongs to Skittles. I figured the whole Skittles thing would be over after the chocolate Skittles thing, but I guess they must have a pretty long contract.

Well, I'm glad Gaia went old-school with the Easter event.
Although the higher-level items are going to be hard. 100 eggs for the third prize. 500 eggs for the final prize. It'd better be badass. |
It's been confirmed that the last item needs 500 eggs?? I thought that was a rumor. I agree though, it better be really awesome for me to put that much effort into getting it!

I collected 5 eggs, bored with that now xD I like playing zOMG, but nothing else on Gaia holds my interest, and there's no eggs in zOMG til tomorrow...

I've almost got the second item, but I haven't checked for eggs in a little a while.
I know what you mean Jelly, but then, even zOMG doesn't keep me there for very long either. Or at least, I'll play it for a few hours one day and then completely ignore it for weeks. |
Yeah, that's how I am, I get frustrated when I can't complete a level, or can't do a quest because I missed something beforehand. I don't like having to join a crew to stand any chance of getting past certain areas; like Kat's doll =_= given up on that! You can only beat the bosses if you have chargers and ring polishers coming out of the kazoo.

I just went on Gaia a bit ago. My daily chances didn't work, and my Overseer wouldn't open. Then I got 1 egg, and everything stopped.

Yeah, "zOMG" is the official title. I actually just now finally finished the tutorial. MMO games don't appeal to me, but I figure it will be better to gather a zOMG event item set myself rather than trying to buy the ones I want in the market.

I take it inflation is as wonderful as ever. For as long as they've been working on it, though, I wonder if it would be worth it to go back and give it a spin. One of the reasons I haven't been back is a combination of sucky event items and marketplace inflation that I can't keep up with.
