Hmm, now I'm pissed off. I got a ring from Logan, and it doesn't seem to work : /
I've had this issue with rings before, you click on them and nothing happens, the other time it was a Teflon spray so I just salvaged it, but this is an attack ring so I'm annoyed now!

You have to refresh the game. Sometimes they don't load right, but refreshing usually causes them to show up. (If that's not the issue, then I have no idea. XD)

Nah, it wasn't that. It has a different way of being used to all the other rings :roll: You have to select it then target your victim with the mouse, you can't use Q like you would for pretty much any other ring.

I just hate it when I get to a new area and my CL is already to high for the monsters there :gonk:

Trying to play on my main today has been frustrating, I have rubbish rings on that account =_=

They seem to have nerfed the rings that you get from drops too, I picked up a diagnose and a solar rays today from Bass'ken Lake and they were both level 1, meanies!

I'm a pack rat, so I never use the trash option. XD

I tried to get into playing zOMG, but I just never get the time.

I've had the same problem with rings. I've never been able to get a teflon ring to work. Some of the attack rings don't seem to do anything either...

You have to lock onto things for them to work. :0 What I do is always keep the crew menu open so I can click that to lock onto people quickly and hit "Q" to lock onto monsters and quickly switch between them when there's a hoard. If you hit "Space" it should automatically lock onto yourself, which is useful for boosts like Teflon spray.

I am kinda annoyed with some of their layering for avatars at the moment. I was trying to equip a shirt with a particular cloak and when I put them on the shirt's sleeve got all weird like it lost the bottum half of it. Like if you decided to remove a certain colour from a picture

Gaia is just... different anymore.
I miss the old gaia, a lot.

Ferra, I already said using Q doesn't work for some rings xD It has no effect on the Hornet's Nest, you have to physically select your target by clicking in it, after you've activated the ring, then you get cross-hairs appear in the screen :yes:

*shrugs* I've never had a ring where it never worked, but then again there are still some rings I haven't used yet, the hornet's nest being one of them. I vary between clicking and using Q so I haven't experienced many issues. :3

ahhaha judged old by your choice of music. I must be ancient I have a peice by Beethoven on mine purely for relaxing and calming purposes though I rarely listen to it since I prefer rock/metal music.
Wordstreamer ~ That was the one I was suffering. I had it looking nice and I love that shirt so I use it a lot but when I saw that I was very upset. Though I have it on now without the glitch, maybe it wasn't around last time I changed my avi.

~ is for lefties I'd imagine, it would be awkward for a right-handed person to use that one unless they we solely using keys to play instead of their mousie.

I don't find it difficult to use any particular key on the board, but then I am a touch typist so I dunno and the '~' is a fav cause it looks better than - but I think I have gone off topic.

About the layering: I wish that boots could layer over pants, 'cause I totally have these boots that would work AWESOME with my current avi, but only if they went over pants. Otherwise they look like a bunch of stray pixels. :o

I didn't know about hitting the space bar to target yourself. That could come in handy.

The hardest is clicking on "friendlies"... too bad there isn't a key like Q or ~ for that one!

I was just over on Gaia... I didn't see where I could discard stuff in my inventory.
I went under "organize your inventory", and it showed the house and something called a Storage Locker. Is that it?

Nawww, I'm a rightie, and I prefer using "~" to choose my target too ;D (Of course, I also use wasd in all other MMOs, so I'm already used to using that side)

@ Jeannesha: I'm not sure, but I think you have to click the item itself in your main inventory (not the organizer), and there's an option to trash it =3

I always use ~ because it's right there with my attack/action buttons. :D
