You do get them, but you get much less than before. Like maybe 5 orbs per quest, depending on what it is. Far fewer especially for the quests that are repeatable.

Some are still ok. I mean at one point you got 8 orbs ever time for killing drums in the Zen Garden, that's only 2 now I think. But the ones on Gold Beach are still 4 orbs each. Having tried out ring suppression, I can't say that I like it much either :sweat:

I die horribly at Otami ruins, that damn mask kills me straight away :(

Jeannesha, you can get endless messages in bottles, you just need to refresh your aquarium once you've responded to one.

@Knerd: What CL are you at? The problem with crewing is that you need a good, well coordinated crew in order to be successful with most of the bosses, which isn't easy to find a lot of the time. They probably made the doll quest harder since I last tried since I know they made Duneslam ridiculously hard since when I fought him the first time.

Maybe someone in your group was a lot higher level than the rest of you? If you go in with a crew, I think the boss matches its level to how strong your strongest teammate is.

I've only fought the doll once though, so I can't really say. :sweat: I used to farm the OMGWTF and Shewolf bosses mostly, now I usually just do runs in the Shallow Seas.

I haven't managed to complete one boss level, either on my own or with a crew. As Ferra says, you need to be well co-ordinated, with people with various buffs and healing rings, and to be honest, it's all just too much effort to learn what's best, and I don't want to join a crew and be bossed around by some bratty 12 year old either :sweat:

It would take a load working out in a clan thread first I suspect, again, just too much effort.

If the people you're working with have a reasonable amount of experience playing the game, usually the coordination just comes together. I do chat extensively with the "crew" panel to coordinate who goes in the cave first, etc. when doing boss fights, like Shewolf, that have particular strategies to make things easier, but when actually fighting I don't have time to type usually unless I die. So at that point you just have to hope your teammates realize that healing frequently is a good idea and to buff if they have it.

But I haven't played zOMG in quite a while aside from killing trash cans the other day for the new badge. *preparing for finals*

With my typing "skills" I find chatting during the game to be quite annoying xD

And it's once again DDR based. I am horrible at those games, but i'm not altogether bothered by it because there is only 1 good event item out of 10 so I just purchased it.
Oh gaia, why can't you hold my attention for more than 5 minutes anymore?

I really like the heavenly cloth event item, it looks a lot like the angelic sash! I haven't started the event yet though, I will this weekend.

I don't understand how the new RIG works x__x; I like the items though. I want the Naruto frog thingy! I got three of them: beat two, got a black book thingy which I sold for 26k and a doll which I can't manage to get rid of x__x; the other one I lost and got a beaded dress... xD; d'oh

RIG boxes suck. I bought one and got an ugly dress. :/

But I like a bunch of the items, so I'll just buy them if I can afford them.

And MAN I HATE THAT DDR game! :gonk: I'll have to buy the prom items off the MP too, because I'm just not fast/good enough at that stupid game. T_T

I love DDR but I hate the prom games. >__< I don't like the side scrolling since all regular DDR games go from bottom to top, which makes left to right difficult to process.

That's true, they really don't give any directions anywhere, do they? You are supposed to hit the correct directional arrow key on your keyboard when the arrows reach the far right of the screen in time with the dance beat. I could do it just fine if they went vertically, since for some reason every time I try to play the side-scroll way I can't keep up. XD

I haven't played the prom game yet but the one they had last year I didn't really have a problem with. I didn't like that if you failed you had to redo all the other dances, that was annoying more towards the end.

I'm not even going to try xD Easier that way. I might go look and see what the items are though.

I've watched people playing on the full-size DDR games and never been able to follow what they were doing, so I'm not even going to try playing it on there xD

What's with the Sims stuff? I can't see any obvious reason anywhere for collecting Plumb bobs.

You get 3 plum bobs, then you get a green thingie for over your head.
Then you get 10 plum bobs, and you get 100 gold.

That's all. Nothing more...
If you try to collect more plum bobs, it just says that you need to go to the Sims profile page. I went there and watched the trailer, but didn't get any more gold...

It took me a while with the dance game, but there is NO way I can get near 50%. Looks like I'll be trolling through the MP for items. Got some cool stuff today - the aquarium granted me angel imp potion.

I got the 50% one... the other one says it needs 80%.
Gads... there's NO WAY!

I did really well in the DDR games last year, but that's when I still had my own computer, not so sure about my mobility on this one. D=
