Link gladly accepted the key from Sard, he nodded his head and smiled, "its been an honor to have played here tonight, I look forward to tomorrow morning" he gave Sard a short bow. When Euphoria leaned against him, he blushed slightly, "there are rooms here, my dear, perhaps Sard can get you a key as well, I shall pay for it." He smiled politely and held his wallet up, but he put it on the counter to help keep Euphoria upright, she must've been very drunk from all that wine. He put her arm over his shoulders to support her, in the midst of this, he sensed something from her, a sort of fear, it made him worry, "Euphoria, is there something that is bothering you? A certain danger...?" He asked her curiously, a hint of suspicion behind his voice.

Midna looked over at Kane and Adelynn, a bit upset and jealous possibly, you could see it in her face, she sighed sadly. "Link, I'm going to sleep, I'll see you tomorrow, alright?" She snapped her fingers and her helmet appeared in the air, she put it on, returning to her imp form. Link looked a bit sad, but he nodded his head and smiled lightly, "good night Midna" Midna smiled back and hovered over to Kane. "Well, good night again Kane, sleep well" she blushed a little and kissed him on the cheek, she floated back and giggled, then she disappeared, returning Link's shadow.

"just take what you need from my wallet Sard, I'm afraid to let Euphoria go... she might fall onto the floor." He looked at her in worry, he took her wine glass away quickly and placed it on the counter, he then continued to support her up.

Sard shook his head and slid the wallet back to Link, "No need to pay, Miss Euphoria there gave me plenty." He smiled kindly and did a sweeping motion with his arms, "Up to bed, you three."

Kane smiled at Midna's kiss as waved as she floated away. He turned to Adelynn and shook his head, placing one hand on her shoulder, "No, you just seem nervous."

Euphoria laughed softly, her voice like chimes as she allowed Link to take her glass. "Oh, I'm not that drunk.." Her arm around him, the woman rested her head on Link's chest and tucked the key from Sardonis into a tight fold in the waist of her elegant dress. Her eyelids were drooping slightly as she noticed that she was fairly tired.

Looking up at Link from her spot against him, Euphoria responded to his question. "People that don't like me are out to get me.. I think I'm safe here though. If I need help, you're very strong and I bet you'd kick their asses anyways." She smiled softly, " You seem to be quite powerful.." Her free hand began to twirl a few strands of her long, curly black hair around her fingertip.

Kane lowered his gaze, bent, and looked up at her through the few locks of hair that fell around his face. His tan skin looked almost like coffee in the bright firelight of the lit torches around the inn and his eyes took on a very cat-like gleam from a lower angle. Bright speckals of orange and a soft red highlight stood out on his hair like fireflies and a far away forest fire. It was true the man could be described as beautiful, but in a very different way from the more feminine Sardonis. He blinked and locked his eyes on her from his position and his pirates voice escaped through his shapely lips, "Aye, ye say yer always nervous and yet ye seemed perfectly fine 'til ye took a gander my way." He grinned wolfishly and sat back up, looked over his shoulder at the stage, pretending he had said nothing and didn't know he had a girl quivering over him in the stool beside him. Although there was no sound, anyone could feel the chuckle beneath him as he suppressed it.

He looked concerned, but he nodded his head and gave her a courageous smile, "I'll do my best to protect everyone, its what I do, come on, I'll help you upstairs." He picked up Euphoria, carrying her in his arms, he then headed upstairs to her room with her, "I'll come back for my wallet in a sec" said Link as he left. When they reached her door, he blushed slightly and put her down for a second, helping to get her key, he then unlocked the door, letting her inside first. He helped her sit on the bed, he then stood back, still blushing a little, he scratched the back of his head, "well, I should get going now. If you need anything, just say my name and I'll come running, good night Euphoria."

He gave her a short bow and left the room, slowly closing the door behind him, he then descended the stairs and sat at the bar, he grabbed his wallet and put it back in his item bag. He was wide awake now, not tired at all, knowing that danger was lurking around outside made him uneasy, "hey Sard, could I get another water please? Parched, again... and nervous." He looked behind him, over at the inn's front door, but then he looked back at Sard, trying to not worry so much.

Oh, how she adored chivalry in men.. Euphoria wrapped her arms around Link as he picked her up and carried her, snuggling into hios chest with a warm, sweet smile on her deep red lips. She chuckled softly as they moved up the stairs, slightly giggly in her vaguely intoxicated state. I wonder if he'll stay with me tonight.. She thought, a soft smirk stretching her plush lips.

As Link set her on the bed, Euphoria tossed back her hair and unzipped her boots, setting them at the end of her bed. She really hoped Link would come back soon, since he'd left so quickly. She hardly managed to say "Oh, well.. Goodnight, I guess.." In a quiet voice before he slipped out the door. Laying back into the pillows, Euphoria thought about the evening and the terrors that she'd hoped wouldn't come to haunt her in this splendid place.

Sard nodded and got another mug of water for his new friend. He set it before him and jerked his head in the direction of the stairs, "Weren't you off to bed?"

Kane smirked and looked down to her, "Ye have no idea. I am the quickest te get te know people." He laughed and looked at the ceiling recalling some very old memories, "They say I have an overbearing personality, so they do." He shook his head and sipped at his water eying her cautiously, trying not to upset or frighten her.

He sighed and grabbed the mug handle, "I'm not sleepy anymore, I'm cautious about what Euphoria said, bad people were after her, I can't sleep now that I know she and everyone here could be in danger." He took a quick drink and looked down at the counter, thinking about Euphoria, he put down the mug and stood up, "I'll be right back, okay Sard? I'm going to check on Euphoria" he then headed up the stairs, rather quickly. He gently knocked on her door, but then he opened it slightly, "Euphoria? Are you still awake?" He asked her, whispering it.

Euphoria perked up, sitting up from where she was lying on the bed. She was a little surprised that he'd come back, and very happy. Her smile was dazzling in the dim light from the candle beside her bed and eyes very bright. She softly stuttered, "O-oh, Link.. Y-you came back!"

"Yes..." He said softly, nodding his head, he looked back a little bit toward the stairs, he thought about Sard, but, he worried more for Euphoria, the one who was in more danger, he stepped inside all the way, closing the door. "I can't stop thinking about what you said, bad people were after you, its worrying me... so I'll stay with you tonight to protect you." He said as he walked over to her bed, sitting down in a chair within the room near it, he looked concerned. "Euphoria... if you don't mind me asking, who are these bad people after you? I need to know..." he folded his arms and looked her in the eyes as he waited for an answer.

Sard nodded and watched as Link ran up the stairs. He dropped his smile and ran a hand through his hair. It remained slicked back as it rested against his horns. He looked over to Jaigo who stood up and saluted to the satyr. Sard took his meaning, resting his fist under his chin, "Goodnight, Jaigo." Kane waved to the boy and then smiled at Sard, "Long day?"
Sard smiled back sarcastically and turned, pouring himself a glass of wine. He sipped at it and eyed Kane over the counter, "You've no idea."

I'm all alone...))

((I'm sorry Shiro, been extremely busy lately and I'm waiting for Clorissa to post, I haven't abandoned anyone on here, but my schoolwork is absorbing most of my time. :())

((It's ok, the same is true for me, but I have been all alone this weekend at my house and aside from sleeping and going out once or twice, I have spent all of it in this chair.))

(I'm so sorry.. The event has totaly blocked my attention from this, and life's been so friggen hectic lately.))

Euphoria sighed and looked away, drawing her knees up to her chest and hugging them to her. "Umm.. It's hard to talk about this. I don't even know where to start.. " She trailed off and her gaze slowly moved back to Link. "The people are Luca Griffin and his nasties. They're vampyre-elves from a small colony far to the north, and they're mad at me.." The woman shivered and picked nervously at her dress.

Link stroked his chin, listening to what Euphoria nervously said, he rested his hands on his thighs, "don't be afraid, you have nothing to fear with me around, but, what could they be mad at you about? I can sense that you're innocent from anything, so why would they be angry with you?" He gave her an encouraging smile, "even if you are not innocent, I will still protect you" he held her hand gently, "tell me please, I'll keep it a secret if I must."

Euphoria shook her head and a large tear rolled down her cheek. It was so hard for her to talk about these men.. After all, they'd been out to kill her for the past ten years. Her voice was a hoarse whisper as her fingers gripped Link's hand. "I.. Um.. Bad blood would be thebest way to put it. Family, or tribal discrepancies... " Euphoria looked down again, embarrassed by her tears.

He looked down slightly as well, "I see..." he looked at her, seeing her crying, but he smiled and put his hand under her chin, lifting her up. He chuckled softly, "don't be embarrassed Euphoria, everything will be fine" he wiped away a tear with his thumb, still smiling, "I promise that those men will never lay a hand on you. Consider me your personal bodyguard from this point on..." he let her hand go and he gave her a hug. It was gentle and reassuring, he let her go after a while, giving her a concerned look, "do you think they're nearby?" He asked her, hoping that they weren't, but if they were, he'd expect to fight.

Euphoria looked up at Link and smiled. He was so kind and sweet.. She couldn't remember the last time someone had expressed such concern for her, and it made her feel so good. When Link hugged her, Euphoria rested against his chest and enjoyed his arms around her. She was reluctant to lean back onto the bed. "I'm not sure.. I think I may have lost them last night.. Butb no ones ever tracked me as well as they have. I'm still worried."
