Anyone else here a fan of Warhammer, Warhammer 40k or Lord of the Rings tabletop? If so, what army/armies do you collect?
I, myself, collect Space Marines. They're a self made chapter called Varclan. |

My brother's been heavily into W40k ever since i can remember. As such, i was sucked into it a little too.
He has, if i remember rightly, Blood Angels, Tau, Orks, Tyrannids, Catachan and a small Battlefleet Gothic army, amognst other bits and bobs that never really expanded into a full blown army. I myself have a small squad of Delaque, but seeing as i don't know the rules well, they rarely see action. I borrow one of my brothers armies if i want to play...Usually Tyrannids. |
my hubby likes warhammer, but he doesnt really do anything with it. He was active in it before i met him so i dont know much ^_^;;; He still talks about it occasionally

My boyfriend used to play 40K. He's in love with the space marines and their ideals and thinking. It gets him through most of life lol

My younger brother is into Warhammer 40k. He collects Space Marines. He's got about half a bookshelf full of the space marines and their various vehicles. For his birthdays and Christmas I usually have to help my mom pick out the stuff that he wants.:sweat:
I've thought about picking up some of the Lord of the Rings stuff, but it's so expensive and I wouldn't even know where to begin. My bro and his friends use to stage battles in our basement, but I don't think any of them (other then my bro) are into it anymore. |
Let me see, I really love this brand, and it is a brand. A big, stinking, addictable brand.
This was another one of the stores where the salesperson was like "is this a gift for someone?" ._. I like Warmaster a bit better, I have the Khemri Undead and Kislev armies. I like them both but at the moment like the Undead better again. I need to get excited about Warhammer again. And my Mordheim stuff just sits there. I still haven't done 40k stuff. But I should, really. Not really interested in Lord of the Rings stuff. Now what I really liked was Clan Wars. Now THERE was a battle army tabletop game. My love for that line will never die. D= Much like Soul Calibur. |
I play Beastmen in Warhammer. I was never big on WH40k, though, unlike most other players I know.
