Dimitrius sighed as he placed a kiss upon Erreminette's cheek, "I'll talk to her tonight and make sure everything is fine. Would you mind taking Ria to Auntie Lina's for us? I'll take Ari home and talk to her before going to discuss furniture in Elimlee."
- "Liah wanted the sun, but it's hot over here. Did Ari know there's no snow in Elimlee? Ever?" Dimeria asked in utter disbelief. She had grown up in a world of snow and ice; it was difficult for her to comprehend that there was a place in Antronesia where there was no snow at all. - Returning his kisses, Emelaide smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck, "That you are, my love, that you are. Although, I still say I can win against you," she teased softly against his lips between kisses. |
"Of course not." Erreminette smiled before leading Dimitrius back to the clearing.
~~~ "I know." Ariala laughed as she kneeled down to Dimeria's height. "THat's why I'm always so bundled up when I visit Winterglade." She laughed softly. "We'll have to get Liah some new clothes." She said. "Green dresses." Liah announced happily, clapping her hands together at the idea of new clothes. ~~~ "And I say." Marreck smiled as he rest Emelaide against the pillows as he hovered over her. "That I'm going to win." He grinned before giving her a long kiss. |
"Thanks Erre," Dimitrius said with a smile before walking over to Ariala and placing a light kiss upon her hair, "Alright loves, you ready to head out? Ria, my dear, Erre is going to take you to Auntie Lina's for a few hours while Ari and I sort some things out with the house, alright?"
Dimeria nodded as she ran to Dimitrius and flung her arms helplessly around his leg, "There's no snow in Elimlee! Ever! Why?" "Because, love, it's not like here in Winterglade. Here, our temperatures are cold all year round. In Elimlee, everything is always so hot and humid." "I don't like it." said Ria simply before running over to Erreminette and wrapping her arms around her leg. Dimitrius chuckled softly as he looked over at his little sister, "Honestly, Ria. Didn't the scholars at the Palace teach you anything about our world?" Ria shook her head and buried her face in Erreminette's thigh. - Eagerly returning his kiss, Emelaide laughed as she softly teased between tender kisses, "And I daresay that you won't win, that I will. |
Erreminette laughed as she ran her fingers through Dimeria's hair. "Do you want to say goodbye to Liah?" Erreminette asked as Ariala set Liah on the ground.
Cautiously making her way to Dimeria, Liah twisted her hands together in front of her. "Bye." She said shyly. ~~~ "I think there's only one way to find out." Marreck teased between kisses before twisting a hand in Emelaide's hair and giving her a long kiss. |
Dimeria grinned as she wrapped her arms around Liah's frame, "Bye! Maybe Ari and Erre will let us play again tomorrow!" said Dimeria happily before wrapping her arms back around Erre's leg.
Dimitrius smiled at the young girls as he placed a tender kiss upon Ariala's tear-stained cheek and held her close. - "Are you sure you won't be too tired after discussing wedding details," Emelaide teased softly against his lips between kisses, "Speaking of which, we had best get to Lina's soon before she skins us alive for being late," she added with a laugh. |
Liah smiled as she hugged Dimeria back before going back to Ariala and holding her arms up to be held. "I'll take Liah back to her mom." Ariala assured Erreminette as she picked up the younger elf and leaned into Dimitrius's frame. "We best be going." She said, giving Dimitrius's cheek a light kiss. "Bye, Dimeria." She smiled before turning to lead Dimitrius back to Elimlee.
~~~ "You and your distractions." Marreck chided as he slid out of the bed and got dressed before picking up the fruit plate to bring to the kitchen. |
Dimeria waved goodbye to Dimitrius and Ariala's retreating forms before smiling up at Erre, "Erre! Let's go see Lina! And maybe? If we're lucky? We can see Marreck and Emmie!"
- Dimitrius smiled as he walked beside Ariala, "Ari, love, I wish to return home for a few moments before we go speak of the furniture, if you will? I wish to speak to you for a bit to discuss some things." - Emelaide laughed as she slid from the bed and called out, "Mar, darling, I was not the one who was full of seduction today. It was completely and utterly your fault, although you won't find me complaining," she added with a laugh as she pulled on a light blue dress and flats before pulling her hair up into a crystal clip shaped in the design of snowflakes and ice crystals. Making her way out to the kitchen, Emelaide smiled as she pulled on a light jacket and waited for Marreck to finish with the dishes, "Ready for the torture of planning?" |
Erreminette laughed as she nodded and led Dimeria into the forest towards Winterglade with her arms wrapped around her chest to keep warm.
~~~ "We have to drop off Liah first." Ariala said, feeling like a child about to be punished as they reached the rope ladder. "Why's Ari sad?" Liah asked curiously after Ariala had climbed up the rope ladder. "I'm not sad." Ariala promised, putting on a warm smile for Liah's sake as they waited for Dimitrius. ~~~ "Yes, I'm sure it will be torture talking about the ceremony which will officially let me keep you forever." Marreck teased, giving Emelaide a kiss before sliding into a jacket and leading her outside. |
"Erre cold?" Dimeria asked softly as she looked up at Erreminette after feeling her shift a bit.
- Climbing up after them, Dimitrius smiled as Liah as he added softly, trying to explain her mood shifts, "Ari is just tired from all of the running around she has done today. She'll be alright by tomorrow." - Emelaide laughed as she lightly bumped her hip against his, "When you see all that it entails, my love, you will be ready to rip your hair out and send me packing for creating such a mess." |
"No, I'm alright." Erreminette assured Dimeria. "I'm just not used to the Winterglade weather yet." She smiled, glad she'd worn one of her thicker dresses.
~~~ Liah laid back against Ariala's shoulder and began to suck her thumb as Ariala brought the three to Liah's home and knocked on the door. "Ariala." Liah's mother smiled warmly at the blond elf before taking Liah into her arms who eagerly greeted her with a hug. "How are you dear?" She asked. "Pregnant." Ariala smiled as she caressed her stomach lightly. "Oh, Erreminette mentioned that. Congratulations to the both of you." Liah's mother said warmly. "Thank you but we must go. We have house plans to lay out." Ariala laughed softly to which Liah's mother simply nodded and left the couple. Taking Dimitrius's hand timidly, Ariala led him through the rope bridges to their temporary home. ~~~ "Frankly love, you're insane for thinking so." Marreck smiled, pressing a kiss to Emelaide's temple before leading her to the rope ladder. |
Ria nodded as she skipped along, "It's nice when you get used to it. Erre want Ria to try raising temperature?"
- Leading her inside, Dimitrius brought her to the fireplace and started a small fire. Sitting down upon the couch, Dimitrius gently pulled Ariala down beside him and wrapped his arms around her waist, "Ari, my love, what can possibly be going through that head of yours. How can you doubt that you will be a wonderful mother?" - After placing a kiss upon Marreck's lips, Emelaide climbed down the ladder as she laughed softly, "We'll see about that this evening." |
"No." Erreminette said quickly having heard about what had happened to Emelaide. "I'm alright but thank you." She smiled warmly.
~~~ Ariala laid her head against Dimitrius's chest, not wanting to look him in the eye, hating herself for letting him know about her insecurities. "I'm still so young. I don't know how to be a mother." She said softly, looking down at her hands. "And I only get one chance and I don't want to mess up." She admitted as a tear escaped from her eye and ran down her cheek. ~~~ Marreck laughed as he climbed down the ladder as well. "Race you to Lina's." Marreck grinned before taking off into a sprint. |
Dimeria nodded and decided with a smile, "Ria will try for Erre if Erre gets too cold. Erre just has to say the word," Dimeria added with a grin as she held her hands up, asking Erreminette if she would carry her.
- Dimitrius smiled as he gently caressed her back, his fingers slipping through her long, soft hair. "Ariala, my darling beautiful wife, how can you say such things? My darling, you will be a wonderful mother! Our child, and our future children, will be honored to have a woman such as you as their mother. Darling, you are kind, generous, yet you have a firm hand when you need to. You can chase away any child's fears, you are tender in your caresses, and you're doing wonders with Ria! My love, you will surely be a wonderful mother," he assured her as he gently brushed the tears from her cheeks. "And what of me, my darling? I have never been a father, yet here I am expecting a child conceived with the most amazing Elf in all of Antronesia. I'm scared too, Ariala, but I have confidence that your loving and tender ways will keep us both on course and we shall raise our child as best we can. I truly have no doubt that all of our children will grow up to be perfect members of society, and will surely take after their wonderful mother with grace and honor," he added with a smile as he brought her eyes to meet his. Placing a long, tender kiss upon her lips, Dimitrius smiled as he held her close, "No more fears, my dove, for you will be a wonderful mother and will spoil our children rotten with love and affection; this I have no doubt." - "No fair!" Emelaide called as she darted after him, "Mar, you're cheating! Getting a head start while racing your pregnant fiancee? That can't possibly be considered a fair race," she teased as she caught up to him and placed a kiss upon his cheek as they ran. |
"I'm perfectly warm." Erreminette promised as she scooped Dimeria into her arms as the village became more visible in front of them.
~~~ Ariala smiled as she rested in Dimitrius's embrace, letting him soothe her. "As long as you promise not to let me spoil them too much." She teased as she gave his cheek a soft kiss and rested her chin on his shoulder. ~~~ "Nonsense." Marreck teased as they continued to run. "If you can eat just as much, I'm sure you can run just as fast." He winked before taking the lead lightly. |
"Do you know where Auntie Lina lives Erre?" Dimeria inquired as she snuggled close to Erre, her head resting in the crook of her neck as she stifled a yawn.
- Dimitrius chuckled as he gently nibbled on her ear and whispered softly, "As if I could stop you, dearest.. I doubt I shall have any say in the matter for you are very persuasive when you want to be," he teased as he left tender kisses upon her earlobe, sucking softly between nibbles, his tongue lightly caressing it's tip. - Emelaide laughed as she followed him, "Nonsense! I'm eating for three, remember? Which means I now have the weight of three to run with!" |
"Yes, I know where she lives." Erreminette smiled at Dimeria. "You can rest if you want. You must be tired from playing with Liah." She said as they approached the village.
~~~ Ariala let out a small gasp as she tangled her hand in his hair, pulling his lips against her skin. "Clearly I'm not the only persuasive one." Ariala said softly before bringing his lips to her's to give him a long kiss. ~~~ "That's crazy, Em. You don't look any different." Marreck grinned as he gave Emelaide a wink over his shoulder. |
"I like Liah; Liah's funny. She didn't know about snow," Dimeria said sleepily through giggles.
- "Mmm," Dimitrius murmured softly, returning her kisses as he smiled against her lips and held her closer against him, "I rather like being able to persuade away your fears, my darling. I do not like seeing you so unhappy," he murmured softly against her lips between kisses. Nipping her bottom lip gently before giving her a proper kiss, deepening it tenderly as his tongue parted her lips to explore her mouth, Dimitrius's hand gently caressed her curves as he held her closer, a small moan escaping his lips as their kisses increased. "I love you so much, promise me you will not have these doubts about our future," he whispered softly against her neck as his lips left a trail of kisses upon her smooth skin. - Emelaide laughed as she caught up with him and inched ahead of him, "Wait a couple of weeks, my dearest Marreck, you will not be able to say such things. I'll have a bump the size of Winterglade in no time," she added with laugh. |
Erreminette stifled a laugh as they reached Lina's house and knocked quietly on the door.
~~~ "I promise." Ariala murmured, fighting to keep coherent thoughts under Dimitrius's kisses as she brought his lips back to her own. Shifting so that Ariala was on Dimitrius's lap, a knee on either side of his hips, Ariala deepened their kiss as her hands traveled low to Dimitrius's waist. ~~~ "And you'll still look just as beautiful I'm sure." Marreck smiled as he ran faster so that the couple was running side by side. |
Lina, who was baking all of Emelaide's favorite sweets at the moment, wiped her hands on her apron as she called out, "Coming dearies! Oh! Why Erreminette, pleasure to see you again. I see you have our darling Ria with you, won't you come in and warm yourself? Let me get some clothing for you, and perhaps you will take some of your own clothing as well as Ariala's back to Elimlee when you return?" Cindalina asked as she headed off down the hall without waiting for a reply, leaving the door open for Erreminette to come in.
Dimeria didn't stir as her Aunt jabbered off before Erreminette could even speak, far too deep in her pleasant slumber, completely tuckered out from playing. - Wrapping her legs tighter against him, as if reading her thoughts, Dimitrius stood and carried his wife to the bedroom, closing the door with his foot behind him. Laying her upon the turned down bed, Dimitrius's hand slid up her leg, the other pressing her hips closer to him. Slipping the dress from her slender body, tenderly caressing her abdomen as he lifted the dress, letting it fall to the floor; Dimitrius left a number of kisses upon her abdomen, chest, collarbone, and neck as his hand returned to her smooth skin and roamed and caressed her curves. "I love you," he murmured softly against her lips between kisses before lightly caressing her cheek with a tender smile, hovering over her as he looked down upon her beautiful face, "I love you so much. I promise you, you will be a wonderful mother. There is no chance in Antronesia that you shall fail, I assure you," he promised as he slipped off his shirt before bringing his lips back to hers in a number of kisses. - Pulling him to a halt, Emelaide wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned back against the nearby tree as she tried to catch her breath. Placing a long, tender kiss upon his lips, Emelaide grinned, "You spoil me too much, my dearest love. What ever am I going to do with you? Flattering me so.. Honestly, darling, you needn't say such falsehoods. I know very well I'll look absolutely vile once my pregnancy starts to show and my emotions go even wackier than they already are." |
Erreminette smiled as she enterede the kitchen and sat in a small chair, her arms still wrapped snuggly around the sleeping Dimeria. "Its a pleasure to see you as well, Cindalina. I'm afraid Dimeria couldn't stay awake long enough to greet you but I'm sure she'll come around. She was playing with my cousin, Liah, in the meadow." She explained.
~~~ "I love you too, Dimitrius." Ariala murmured against his lips as she pulled her husband closer to her. "I love you more then you know." She smiled as she removed the rest of the clothing that was seperating them and slipped beneath the sheets to make love to her husband. ~~~ "That's crazy talk, Emelaide." Marreck laughed as his own breathing became more even and he wrapped his arms around Emelaide's waist. "You wouldn't be the woman I'm in love with if you weren't so emotional. And, I promise you, you're going to look beautiful pregnant." He said as he caressed her stomach gently. |
Cindalina smiled as she emerged with an outfit for Erreminette to change into now as well as a few baskets of clothing for both her and Ariala.
"Your cousin eh? That'll be good for Ria; I've been after her parents to give her a proper playmate around her own age for years now. I'm glad Dimitrius saw it before she got too isolated," she said with a smile as she set the baskets beside Erreminette's chair. "Would you like a spot of tea dear? I'm afraid I'm not sure when Marreck and Em will show up this evening, so it'll be nice to have a chat with someone until they arrive, if you can spare the time," she added with a smile, not wanting Erreminette to as if she was being forced into staying for tea. "Oh! Dear me, I right near forgot about sweet little Ria! Come, let me take her and put her to bed," Cindalina chuckled as she took the sleeping toddler from Erreminette's arms, "She's gotten so heavy! Guess Ariala and Dimitrius have been spoiling her rotten," she teased with a laugh before taking her off to the spare bedroom, returning shortly after once Dimeria was settled in bed. - Emelaide smiled as she tenderly placed her hand over his upon her stomach. "You only say that now because you haven't married me yet. Once we're married, and you see just how plump I'll get, you'll regret having said such things," she teased as she place light, tender kisses upon his lips, "But I can't say I mind hearing them. It'll give me something to remember when I blow up like a balloon from our dear little twins," she added with a laugh. |
Erreminette took the outfit that Cindalina had brought and went into a side room to change quickly before re-emerging in the kitchen. "I haven't anything to do today." Erreminette smiled as she settled at the table. "Ariala told me that Dimeria's been having nightmares. That's what brought up the idea of her playing with Liah." She said as she rested her cheek in her hand, her elbow set on the table.
~~~ "You're insane Emelaide." Marreck winked before dropping so that he was eye level with her stomach. "You two have a beautiful mother. Don't let her silliness make you think otherwise." He smiled before pressing a kiss on her stomach before standing upright again. |
Cindalina sighed as she put on the kettle to boil, "Poor Dimeria.. Dimitrius has said a word about them. Has anyone checked her room and made sure nothing was in there that she could mistake for something during the night? Poor dear, I'll have to see Maylynne about getting her something to help her sleep peacefully. Let us hope this new friend of hers will help calm things down. Oh! What kind of tea would you like dear? I have some teas from Emilee, if you would prefer one of those?"
- "Oh shush, I am not. Don't listen to your father, my dears, you'll see soon enough for yourselves," Emelaide laughed as she tenderly caressed Marreck's cheek as she pulled him gently towards her for a number of tender kisses, "I love you Marreck." |
"Any tea is fine Cindalina." Erreminette smiled warmly. "But yes, I heard that Ariala was eating in the middle of the night for her baby and Dimeria came to her crying. There was a teddy bear under the bed that Dimeria thought was a monster. I hope Liah will make the fears disappear though." She sighed.
~~~ "Dimitrius." Ariala sighed as she laid against his chest, her hair sprawled across the blankets. "How are we going to make plans for furniture if you keep distracting me so?" She teased before pressing a kiss against his chest. ~~~ "You know Emelaide." Marreck teased against her lips. "Its a horrible thing to lie to the children." He smiled between kisses. |
Cindalina sighed as she poured two cups of Raspberry tea, setting one at her place and one in front of Erreminette, "A teddy bear causing my little Ria tears? Dear me, the poor girl must have had quite the nightmare to have created such a fuss over a teddy bear!" Cindalina continued as she put a few cubes of sugar into her tea, "Poor thing, I hope Liah is a good influence upon her! Perhaps Ria's imagination will run wild during the day and not plague her sweet dreams during the night."
- Dimitrius chuckled as he lightly caressed her back and sides with his fingertips, the other hand lost in her long hair. Placing a tender kiss upon her forehead, Dimitrius inquired lightly, "Are you complaining my dear? Are you telling me you would rather choose furniture than make love to your husband?" Dimitrius inquired teasingly as he began to lightly tickle Ariala's bare side. "Perhaps I'm not doing my job as a husband. Tell me, what must I do to win your favor?" he asked her with a grin as he continued to tickle her. - Emelaide giggled softly as she eagerly returned his kisses. "Perhaps I should be the one saying that to you, my love," she teased between tender kisses. |
