Dimitrius chuckled as he placed a long, tender kiss upon her lips, licking the berry juice from his lips afterward, "Good to know. But if I start having to run out all hours of the night for things the grocers may get a bit testy with us," Dimitrius teased with a wink and another light kiss.
- Arching her neck towards his lips, Emelaide giggled lightly, "Yes, of course, I shall keep all of us safe from my magic, when I'm able to focus, that is," Emelaide added as her fingertips lightly dug into Marreck's scalp, pulling him closer as added with a warm smile, forcing her magic to behave so Hathom didn't yell at them again, "Though I rather like not being able to focus when you're the one distracting me." |
"I'm sure they'll understand." Ariala teased as she reached out, putting her hands around Dimitrius's neck and pulling him close to her. "I love you." She murmured before giving him a long kiss, her right leg reaching out to hook around his waist as her tongue tenderly traced his lips.
~~~ Marreck felt a ripple of desire shoot through his spin at their closeness but carefully shifted so that Emelaide laid beside him with his arms around her delicate frame. "I don't want Cindalina to throw us out for misbehaving." He laughed softly before giving her cheek a soft kiss. |
"I love you too, my dearest Ariala," Dimitrius murmured softly against her lips as his hand caressed her bare thigh and played with the trim of her panties. "You and wee one," Dimitrius whispered against her lips between kisses as his other hand caressed her side, his thumb tracing the length of her stomach tenderly, "Promise me you'll always tell me if you feel sick? I don't want to have to worry as Marreck does about Emelaide... I know she tries to stay strong so she doesn't worry him, for he isn't used to her sick spells yet.. I just.. I need to know you'll tell me before you get too bad," Dimitrius added with a small smile as he rested his forehead against her own.
- Slipping one leg out of the sheets, Emelaide smiled as he shifted closer to Marreck, her leg entwining with his as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips. "What if I said I like misbehaving?" she whispered softly against his lips with a teasing smile between kisses. |
"I promise." Ariala said softly, matching Dimitrius's smile with one of her own. Cupping the back of Dimitrius's head, her fingers curled in his hair, Ariala pulled his lips back to her's for a flurry of kisses. "As long as you always satisfy my food cravings no matter what." She grinned between kisses.
~~~ "I already know you like misbehaving." Marreck laughed with a playful eyeroll as he nuzzled her neck gently. "But perhaps we can misbehave when we move out of Cindalina's." He murmured against her skin. |
"Deal," Dimitrius managed to whisper against her lips as he pulled her closer to him and linked her other leg around his waist and tenderly caressed her neck and cheek as he eagerly returned her kisses, "I love you Ari."
- Emelaide chuckled as she arched her neck towards him, her hair falling over her other shoulder onto his chest as she smiled and whispered teasingly, "Then perhaps you had best get a move on and find us a cottage to live in dearest. I very much like kissing you and I very much hate not being able to for fear someone will walk in on us due to my magic getting a tad bit out of control," Emelaide added as she brought her lips back to his for a long, final, passionate kiss before settling back against him, her cheek upon his chest. |
"I love you too, Dimitrius." Ariala managed in a breathless whisper as she pulled herself closer to him, her thoughts blurry as she lost herself in his kisses. Hearing the small buzz of the timer over the stove Ariala snapped out of her peacefully blurry bliss. "Food?" She asked with an excited smile, her stomach rolling with hunger from the smell of the garlic bread and vegetable stew.
~~~ "Any suggestions as to where I should look for a house?" Marreck asked as he ran his fingers through Emelaide's hair. "I woldn't have te faintest clue where to look and end up frozen in the middle of town." He said with a small smile. |
Dimitrius chuckled as he placed one last hard, tender kiss upon Ariala's lips as he agreed, "Food."
Slipping from her embrace, Dimitrius turned off the timer and got potholders out before taking out the bread and setting the sheet upon the counter. "Put those in the breadbasket for me and hand me a couple of bowls?" Dimitrius asked as he motioned to the basket mentioned before tending to the stew. - Emelaide giggled as she gave him a small hug, "Well, we don't want that now do we? Can't have us both sick, after all," she added teasingly. "As for where to look," Emelaide continued as she closed her eyes and nearly fell asleep as the calm washed over her from Marreck's soft caresses, "I would check with Rathenma Hirovitch near the Master's Villa. He'd know all of the available houses surrounding the College." |
Ariala nodded as she took out the breadbasket along with a few bowls and gently filled the basket with garlic bread. Putting the bowls beside Dimitrius, Ariala took a piece of bread out of the basket on her way to set on the table and nibbled gently, Lily squirming with delight from the food. "This is good." She smiled blissfully, aware of how silly sounded though she couldn't bring herself to care.
~~~ "I'll be back then, love." Marreck said as he gave her neck a small kiss. "Hopefully with a cottage." He added as he stood from the bed and gave Emelaide's forehead a kiss. "I love you." He said softly as he ran his fingers through her hair for a second time before heading towards the door. |
Dimitrius chuckled as he filled the bowls with stew and brought them to the table, "Well I would hope it's good, my love. I would hate for my cooking to be terrible," Dimtrius teased with a wink as he set the bowl before her and handed her a spoon.
Sitting down, Dimitrius dipped a piece of bread into his stew before taking a bite, "Do you like the stew?" - "I love you too," Emelaide said with a warm smile as she pulled the blankets closer to her and curled up around the warm place in the bed where Marreck had laid, closing her eyes as she rested, though did not sleep. "Marreck, is that you dear?" Cindalina called from the living room, not looking up from her sewing, "Can you run to the doctor's cottage and tell him how Emelaide is doing?" |
"It would be a let down to find out now that your cooking is horrible." Ariala teased before taking a spoonful of the stew, carefully cooling it off first. "But its delicious." She assured Dimitrius before nibbling on her bread again before eventually dipping the bread into the stew to eat it together.
~~~ Marreck entered the living room just as he pulled on his coat to see Cindalina. "Of course." He agreed. "As soon as you point me in the directions of the doctor's cottage." He said with a sheepish grin. He only knew of a few places in Winterglade which included Emelaide's home and Cindalina's home. |
Dimitrius laughed as he continued to eat, shaking his head lightly. "Aye, but my cooking is generally better than yours, my love," Dimitrius teased with a wink before taking another bite of his stew-dipped bread.
- Cindalina chuckled as she nodded and quickly relayed the directions, "It's not too far, love. Is Emelaide asleep? Hungry? How are she and the twins?" |
"Very true." Ariala agreed as she continued to eat. "But I'm learning." She said as she finished her first piece of bread and reached for another.
~~~ "She's resting." Marreck informed her. "But since we'll be staying in Winterglade for some time, Emelaide and I are going to rent a house for our stay." He said, hoping that they wouldn't offend Cindalina by wanting to move out. |
Dimitrius smiled as he leaned over and placed a tender kiss upon Ariala's lips, "Aye, you are learning, and I rather like the food you've been making. You should try a whack at banana nut bread," Dimitrius added with a wink as he took another bite of his stew.
- Cindalina smiled a small smile as she looked up from her sewing, "Oh dearie, you needn't do that! But if it is what you two wish, I know of a place you two can get for rather cheap. Old Sarvale's place, just down the road from the doctor's office, just went up for sale. It's a nice cottage, a bit bigger than what you've seen around here so far, and it's a bit pricey. But if you say that I sent you will get at least a quarter of the price knocked down. I know his son rather well," Cindalina added softly before shaking her head lightly to clear the memories of Jonathan. "But never mind that, my dear. You'd best run along if you wish to catch the doctor before he heads to bed," Cindalina added with a warm smile before returning to her sewing. |
"I've never had that." Ariala confessed as she continued to eat. "Is it good?" She asked before taking a long drink of her water.
~~~ "Thank you, Cindalina." Marreck said with a warm smile before heading out the door of Cindalina's home and trudging towards the doctor's cottage, careful to follow her directions so he didn't get lost. Marreck jumped on the balls of his feet as he knocked the doctor's door, Winterglade's chill taking a toll on him. |
"It's delicious, I think you'll like it my love. The fruit banana comes from the Summer Kingdom and when they are nearly fully spoiled you make them into this bread. The nuts are optional, but give it this extra something that makes it even more delicious. It should be in one of Auntie's recipe books. We can stop over sometime when you wish to make it and get it from her if you'd like," Dimitrius said with a warm smile as he finished his stew and took another piece of bread from the basket.
- It was a young nurse who opened the door, one who knew Marreck right away due to having been one of the nurses at Emelaide's beside more often than not over the years. "Well hello there Marreck," Shira said with a warm smile as she looked up at the Spring Elf before her, "Is Emelaide alright or do you need us again? You don't seem distraught or frightened, so I believe it to be the former rather than the latter," she added with a laugh, "Would you like to come in for a cup of hot cocoa and sit by the fire to warm up?" |
"It sounds delicious." Ariala said with a smile as she finished her secon piece of bread and ate a few spoonfuls of her vegetable stew. "I've never had a banana before." She pondered. "I wonder if I could grow them if I tasted one." She said before finishing her stew and taking a long drink of her ice water.
~~~ "Thank you." Marreck smiled warmly as he entered teh doctor''s cottage out of the cold winds of Winterglade. "I'm in search of a temporary home right now but Cindalina suggested I stop by to let you know that Emelaide is doing better." He said as he rubbed his hands together and blew on them, feeling the warmth of the cottage heat his chilled bones. |
Dimitrius smiled as he leaned over and placed a tender kiss upon Ariala's lips, "I think you'll love it. It's soft and very delicious. Would you like me to ask Cindalina to make some and send it over with Mo and another chipmunk? I'm sure she wouldn't mind."
- Shira laughed as she went off and poured him a cup of hot cocoa before returning and sitting down before the fire, gesturing for him to sit as well, "A temporary home here in Winterglade? I take it poor Emelaide is not fairing well and requires the Glade Air for the remainder of her pregnancy? Poor dear.. Do tell me if either of you need anything, alright? I've been helping Emelaide with her sickness since she was a wee little thing so I am not unaccustomed to her mood swings and her temperature fluctuations," she added with a small laugh, "But truly, if you need any errands run, please do not hesitate to ask." |
"Are you sure she won't mind?" Ariala asked as she took another bite of her stew-soaked bread. "It sounds yummy." She said happily.
~~~ "THank you but I have to leave soon." Marreck smiled at the elf. "Thank you so much for your offer. I have to find a place for us to stay but I really appreciate your kindness." Marreck said before wrapping his scarf around his tanned neck. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Shira." Marreck said as he took a sip of his hot chocolate before setting it down on the table. |
"Love, we are speaking of you, I am sure she would not mind one bit," Dimitrius assured her with a warm smile before finishing his dinner and bringing the dishes over to the sink to wash before putting away the left over stew into the icebox to keep until Dimeria was awake, "I'll send Cornia over tonight to ask her. She usually runs around Elimlee this time of night."
- "Think nothing of it," Shira nodded with a warm smile, "But of course, of course. You had best go inquire before the best houses get taken. Young ones are always coming to the area for their lessons, so you had best go find something soon," Shira warned with a small laugh, "Would you like me to pour your hot cocoa into a mug to bring with you?" |
Ariala smiled happily as she picked up her dishes and brought them to the sink to wash the dishes. Once they were done, Ariala dried her hands on the dishtowel before resting one of her stomach where Lily lie. "What did you want to do today, love?" She asked Dimitrius as she turned abck to him and rested against the sink.
~~~ "That's kind of you but no thank you." Marreck smiled kindly at the winter elf as he slipped on his gloves. "I best be going." He said with a small wave as he made his way to the door. "Thank you again." He called back before slipping out into the winter cold. |
"Hmm, well, since it is nearly time for bed, I believe we had best get some sleep," Dimitrius teased as he wrapped his arms around her waist and tenderly pressed upon the small of her back, "But tomorrow, if you do not have class, we can go to the meadow to paint like I promised you when we first came there," Dimitrius added with a twinkle in his eye before placing a long, tender kiss upon Ariala's lips. "But, before we get some sleep, will you check on Dimeria and wake her up for dinner? I did not realize it was so late when I put the soup away."
- Shira chuckled as she picked up the dishes and took them to the sink to wash. "What a dear. Emelaide sure did well when she chose him," Shira mused to herself with a laugh as she washed the dishes. |
"Trying to make sure your sister doesn't sleep well tonight by letting her take a long nap?" Ariala teased as she gave Dimitrius a small kiss. "You'll be getting up with her in the morning when she's up at five." She laughed as she poked his stomach before walking over to Dimeria's room.
"Dimeria?" She asked softly as she approached the small elf's bed. "Wake up, love. You need to eat some supper." She smiled as she put a hand on the girl's side. ~~~ Marreck wandered around the small village until he saw a reasonably sized house with a wooden sale sign out front. Deciding to look inside, Marreck went up to the door and knocked softly, wondering what Emelaide would think of the house. |
Dimeria groaned as her hand reached out and sleepily clasped Ariala's hand, "More sleep please."
- Dimitrius chuckled as he went about heating up the stew for Dimeria before pouring her a glass of milk and setting it upon the table. - An old man the age of 83 in human years opened the door with a disgruntled, "What do you want? Why are you calling so late? Who are you?" Looking the boy before him over, the man gave another grunt as he added, "Oh, is you. That Elimlee boy Emelaide is running around with. Here you two are expecting, congratulations. So what brings you to Old Sarvale's place?" |
"No more sleep." Ariala cooed as she picked up Dimeria and set her on her hip. "Food." She encouraged. "We wouldn't want you starving." She said as she brought the small elf out into the kitchen.
~~~ "Sorry to bother you so late." Marreck said with a small smile. "Emelaide and I are looking for a place to stay for the duration of her pregnancy. And I noticed that this house is for sale." Marreck explained. |
Dimeria whined a "No" of sorts as she sucked her thumb and buried her face into Ariala's chest.
Dimitrius couldn't help but laugh as he heared Dimeria whine, "Did you just whine? Ria, my love, do not be so difficult. I know you are tired, dearest, but won't you eat something? For us? Then you may return to sleep." Nodding lightly in reluctant agreement, Dimeria didn't move but clung tighter to Ariala. Setting the food upon the table along with the milk, Dimitrius placed a tender kiss upon Ariala's lips before placing a kiss upon Dimeria's forehead, "I'll go change the sheets on her bed and draw a bath for Dimeria. She's burning up, her magic must be going through a change," Dimitrius whispered in Ariala's ear before going off to do just that. - "Ah, of course. Come in, come in, feel free to take a tour, I'll get the paperwork ready for you to look over," Mr. Sarvale said with a grunt before going to his study and searching through mounds of paperwork. |
