Dimitrius laughed as he watched Ariala run off in a tizzy. Smiling, he got up himself to put out his bedroom fireplace and start a new one in the living room. As he passed the bathroom, he walked in and placed a gentle kiss upon Ariala's neck as his hands slipped around her waist and pulled her against him, "I don't mind, love, there's nothing to be embarrassed over. I'm going to go get dressed while you're in here, feel free to shower; the water is hot. We can always have Emelaide dry your hair for you when we see her on the way to Aunt Lina's."

Ariala smiled, leaning slightly against him with her toothbrush still in her mouth. "Where are your towels, love?" She asked as she pulled her hair in front of her to hide her spitting into the sink before rinsing out her mouth and turning to face him. "All better." She declared, turning to face Dimitrius and giving him a small kiss. "Minty fresh." She said, smiling wide.

Dimitrius rolled his eyes and he returned her kiss, "Aye, but I'm not yet since you're monopolizing the bathroom. Towels are in the cupboard over there, washcloths are there too. Don't use all the hot water, though, alright love?" he teased as he placed a long, gentle kiss upon her neck and leaving the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.
While he waited for Ariala, he walked to the kitchen and began trying to find the kettle in the midst of all the confusion and chaos. He'd have to ask Ariala or Emelaide to organize it for him one of these days. |
Ariala walked over to the cupboard with a smile still playing at her lips from Dimitrius's kisses. I'm acting like such a child... She mused. Finding a towel, Ariala moved towards the shower and turned on the hot water for her shower.
Ariala exited the bathroom, wearing nothing but a towel. "I'm done in the bathroom." She said to Dimitrius as she passed him and made her way to the bedroom to wear one of her Winterglade outfits, a sapphire blue skirt and a thick yet seemingly light blouse. |
Dimitrius smiled as he left the kettle to boil and placed two cups on the table. Heading towards the bathroom he called out to her, "I'm going to take a quick shower, I just set the tea to boil. I'll be out in a few, then we shall go check on Marreck and Emelaide."
In moments, Dimitrius had the bathroom door shut and began to strip. *.*.* Soon his shower was finished and his teeth were brushed. Coming out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair pulled back in a low ponytail like usual, Dimitrius winked at Ariala before heading to his bedroom to change as he spoke, "I'll be out in a minute, love." |
Ariala flet a shy smile creep to her lips. Her face shown a bright red as Dimitrius walked into his bedroom. Shaking her head, Ariala moved to the kitchen to find tea leaves which was a difficult task in itself. Someday I'll have to organize all of this... She sighed to herself.
After digging through as many possible cupboards that she could find, Ariala spotted the tea leaves in a drawer near the fridge. "What a mess." She whispered to herself as she placed the leaves into their cups and poured the hot water on top. |
Coming out of his bedroom, his hands busy rubbing his hair with a towel to dry it, Dimitrius chuckled as he heard Ariala speak, "Forgive me, love. It's gotten to be a mess ever since Emelaide quit organizing it for me. You're more than welcome to do it yourself, love, if you feel like spending an entire day trying to organize it."
Bringing the towel back to the bathroom and placing it into the hamper, he fixed his hair before heading back out to the kitchen and sitting down opposite of Ariala. |
"Or I could be lazy and put it off." Ariala said, sipping her tea as she sat in the oak chair. "I'm quite into putting things off as long as possible when it comes to cleaning." Ariala admitted. "Its a character flaw. Though I don't have many." She said with a wink.

Dimitrius chuckled as he sipped his tea, "That is also an option, love, though I highly doubt you have any flaws at all. We can simply live in hectic chaos and always wonder where our dishes have run off to," he teased with a wink as he took another sip of his tea.

Ariala giggled quietly. "Which reminds me to ask, where are we to live after the wedding?" She asked. "I'd love to live in Winterglade but its so cold here and Elimlee is to hot for you."

Dimitrius thought about it for awhile, his thoughts roaming to all the Lands between Elimlee and Winterglade. As his mind was roaming, he thought about the meadow they were to have their wedding in and a thought struck him.
Grinning, Dimitrius took a sip of his tea before replying softly, "Why not in the forest along the border? I'm sure we can get a small section cleared and use the trees to build a nice house for us, big enough for our children as well. The yard would surely be big enough if we cleared enough trees, though we'd have to be sure to use each and every tree as to not be wasteful. And we'd only have to use the ones that were big enough to be used, the ones that are too small we can move or work around," he added with a wink, "So no clear-cutting, I promise." |
"That sounds great." Ariala said with a large smile. "I happen to know some workerss from Elimlee that will be more then willing to help. And if you could find some from Winterglade we'd be able to finish the house before the wedding." She said excitedly, clapping her hands together happily. "It'll be alot of extra planning to manage both the house and the wedding." Ariala said, her brow furrowed slightly. "Erreminette will help me, she loves design." She said, her mind working faster then her mouth could talk. She could already picture a cottage on the border. "Do you think Cindalina would help as well?" She asked Dimitrius.

Dimitrius smiled as he took her hands in his and placed a gentle kiss upon them, "Of course, my love. Cindalina would be more than happy to help us. As for workers, I know I can get a few guards from the Palace who I'm still on good terms with to help, as well as some schoolmates from the College. Between our two countries, we'll have the house built and the wedding planned with plenty of time to spare. One thing I must add, though, I'll leave all the options to you three women and just help decide the final choice once it's narrowed down to two or three. And while you three are working on those details, I'll help with the construction of the house. Is that alright, love?"

"Perfect!" Ariala said happily as all the pieces in thier life seemed to fall into place. "I can't wait to tell Erreminette. I'll tell her when we go back to speak to the Lord and then she can borrow some of my Winterglade clothes to come back and we can visit Cindalina. I had to bring her there anyways to be fitted for her bridesmaid dress. Which of course i'm not even sure what its going to be yet. Erre will know." She said then shut her mouth quickly. "I'm rambling." She said with a blush reaching her cheeks.

Dimitrius smiled as he leaned across the table and placed a gentle kiss upon her lips, "I like your rambling, love. But if you're this excited to get Erreminette here, let us go check on Emelaide and Marreck and go fetch her, then we'll all join Aunt Lina for breakfast and you girls can speak of wedding matters while I go fetch my half of the construction crew," he added before finishing his tea.

Ariala smiled at his kiss as she stood and placed both of their cups in the sink. Tuirning on the hot water, Ariala began to wash the dishes and through dried each one before turning to search for the cupboard they'd be in. "Our house is going to be organized." She mumbled as she finally found the cupboard holding cups, underneath the counter across from the fridge. "You're a mess." She teased Dimitrius before giving him a small kiss. "I'll be right back with my things." She said before disappearing into the bedroom.

Dimitrius chuckled as he called after her, "Aye, but what do you expect from a man who lives alone with no woman to keep him in order? Be lucky the house is as tidy as it is!"

Ariala laughed as she returned to the kitchen with her bag over her shoulder. "Excuses, excuses." She chided with a teasing grin. "Now come on." She said, taking Dimitrius's hand and walking him out the door.
"Oh." Ariala said, her mouth forming a small 'o'. "Very bright out here with all this snow." She said but continued to walk despite the harsh glare. |
Grabbing his jacket before he shut the door, Dimitrius chuckled as he handed her his sunglasses, "I had a feeling you'd need these. Come on, Em's house is just down the road."

Ariala smiled as she looked through the somewhat large glasses. "You have a big head." She teased, pushing the glasses back on her nose as she followed Dimitrius to Emelaide's cottage.

Pulling her close, Dimitrius ruffled Ariala's damp hair before kissing it softly, "Only to fit my genius brain in, love."
Nearing a cottage, Dimitrius knocked softly before entering, "Em? Marreck? You two awake yet?" Motioning for Ariala to follow him inside, Dimitrius headed back towards Emelaide's bedroom and knocked on the door, "Em? How are you feeling?" |
Marreck woke to the sound of Dimitrius's voice, something that he didn't want to wake up to in the least bit. Sighing, he looked down at Emelaide. "Are you awake, love? Dimitrius is here." He whispered quietly.

Emelaide groaned as she snuggled closer to Marreck. Hearing Ariala's voice however, Emelaide sighed as she whispered, "Ariala's here, we'd best answer them."
Leaning away from Marreck for just a moment, Emelaide called out, "Come on in, Dimitrius, Ariala." Snuggling back next to Marreck, Emelaide chuckled as she whispered softly, "I'm going back to bed after they leave. It's too early to be up." -------------- Dimitrius smiled at Ariala as he placed a kiss upon her forehead, "Neither is Emelaide. We won't have a chance to check on them again to day though, so we'd best do it now while we have time." Hearing Emelaide's voice, Dimtrius opened the door and allowed Ariala to enter first. Following her, Dimitrius chuckled, "Morning, love birds. How are you feeling?" "Tired, what do you want?" replied Emelaide sleepily, not opening her eyes as she snuggled closer to Marreck. |
Marreck smiled as Emelaide curled up closer to him. He tightened his arms around her tighter. "Whatever you wish." He smiled into her hair before he heard Dimitrius enter and gave her a small kiss on the forehead.
"Good morning." He said somewhat sleepily to the couple. "Morning." Ariala smiled at Marreck. They looked positively adorable curled up next to each other as they were, she thought she thought to herself. |
Dimitrius chuckled as he watched the couple snuggle together, "Well, we came to see how you two were holding up, make sure you didn't fall back into the state you were in yesterday. Seems like you two are just fine though."
Emelaide rolled her eyes before glaring at Dimitrius, "Yes, we are. All I needed was a long sleep and I was fine, having Marreck around was an added bonus," she added teasingly as she winked at Marreck. Dimitrius smiled, "I'm glad to hear it. How are you holding up Marreck? She giving you much trouble? If you need another set of clothes, Ariala and I will be going over to Aunt Lina's after we run and fetch Erreminette, you're more than welcome to come have brunch with us and get some more clothing, Aunt Lina said she had a lot from her collection that should fit you just fine." Emelaide chuckled as she whispered to Marreck, "Lina never lets her collections out of her sight, I think you'll like her work. You can go if you'd like, I'm sure Erreminette is worried about you as well." Looking over at Ariala and noticing her hair, Emelaide smiled, "Hello Ariala, thank you for coming over to check on me. I'm doing alright, Marreck's been a spectacular doctor. But you know, if you don't get that hair dry soon, you'll catch a cold, would you like me to dry it for you? I promise, I won't burn you." |
