<_<; Ugh, that thing is hideous for it's bg. Uhm.. :digs for that sketch she did in Disney World:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ance_epcot.jpg |
But I liked it! XD
Oooh, now see, that's snazzy. So much so I used one of the most rarely used words ever. XD I love the tree. And all the details in the restaurant. |
If I remember correctly, that was in the France section of Epcot. I was hiding out under the under hang of that restaurant while it rained (we caught the edge of a hurricane while we were there) and was just drawing people. It took me about an hour and a half, all done in pen and a blue marker; hence the wobbly lines. Didn't help my paper was wet, either >>;;
|
You say that like I didn't know about the hurricane. XD My sisters were there for the whole hurricane.
But pssh what wobbly lines? And an hour and a half? Guh, my envy, she grows. I tell you, you're so talented.~ |
Ah, I forgot they were there. It was weird waking up one morning and finding all the lawn chairs and whatnot at the bottom of the pool though >>;;
Eh, it's not so bad. In life drawing classes you're pushed to learn how to draw gesture quickly. It becomes force of habit. Even my initial sketches are fast, it's really all the tightening up and detailing that takes so damned long. As for wobbly lines, look at the columns, the lightbulbs etc xD;; EDIT: Hey look, another one from then. And it doesn't look a thing like what I normally do. :'D;;;; Never finished, spent 30 min on it while watching the parade in Haramni Village in the Animal Kingdom section. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...rk/harambe.jpg |
XD I imagine so. Part of me still really wishes I'd gone, but you can't change the past~. I would have been a miserable wretch anyway.
xD; I was always fine with model drawing in our art classes, but when the teacher would do 30 second gestures most of mine would get furiously scribbled out in depression. Pssssh. |
xD Go look up at the edit to my last post, lawl.
And bah, I wouldn't let you be miserable while you were hanging out with meeee~ :'D :shot and bricked for good measure: xD nuh, everyone starts like that. I still can't do the full figure that fast. It's really good practice for body language and anatomy even. <3 |
I like that. And I still see plenty of Ise-ish elements, so nuh. :P
xDD If I could even tear away from controlling family long enough. When I thought I was going, I was really anxious about what to pack, because I wanted to look as cool as you. It's just evil. *sulksulkgloomcloud* |
xD The spontaneous color is totally out of my norm, as are the childish elements. But I actually kind of like it, too. It was fun to do.
xD Hah, I didn't look cool at all. I just grabbed things to keep my skin covered and to keep me cool. And I still wandered around in a ridiculous poncho, soaked or dripping with sweat. xD;;; Lol. :petpet: Just something you learn as you go <3 |
You should do something like that again some time. :3
Reminds me, my mom bought Matt and I some really, really cheap oil pastels, and we tried to make the best of them, but they were just painful. XD If you tried to colour one colour on top of the other, everything peeled off the page. Pssh, you still would've looked cooler than my sulky self, walking around complaining I thought I had heat stroke because I'm allergic to shorts, frizzy hair defying all laws of nature. I suppose so~. |
I had planned on a revised version that didn't have so much open space between the critters. I just have to figure out where that particular book went >>;;
xD; Oil pastels are a pain. I prefer chalk ones. There's something satisfying in their messiness, kind of like when I'd come out of figure drawing covered in charcoal to the point it looked like I'd been rolling around in soot. xD; You think my hair doesn't frizz? Mine is just easier to control with gel/mousse/texture cream because it's short. I just have to put it in while it's wet and blow dry it. Might turn stiff as a barbie doll's hair, but it works. Usually I can keep it from doing that, though not lately. I think it's requiring too much product because I haven't had it cut in months and it's gotten thick again. |
Do eet. Do eet. Do eet. *annoyannoy*
I like chalk pastels a lot. <3 I suck with them, but I really enjoy the practice; but I haven't owned any in years. D: At least you have ANY control over your hair. Mine tries to strangle me in my sleep, and nearly succeeds in the shower. And I really can make a noose out of it. |
xD at some point when some of my current projects are finished~
Aw, even the cheap ones are fun to mess with. My only bitch with them as that they break so easy. xD;; I hate trying to grasp and use tiny little broken bits. Lol, like I said, only because it's short. xD; Your hair would kill me for sure. I can't deal with long hair. I'm only growing mine out right now to cut it into some other new short style that I haven't decided yet. |
If you say so~.
xD You and me both. I just can't find or afford art supplies, really. xDD; I have had like, every hair style ever. This is the only one I look good in. ;o; |
I have like 10 of them running right now xD;;
:petpet: .-. You need to get out of that spot, you need at least stuff like that to help yourself. You haven't had mine? :'D :shot repeatedly: |
XD; I can't motivate to do anything...
Meh. *sighs, laying head down* xDD; this is very true... *strokes chin* Oh goodness me, I need to stop quoting the Kanye meme... D: |
Kanye meme? oo;
|
Lol... *points to signature* You haven't seen the video from the VMA that's all over the internet yet?! XDD
Oh man, let me find it... http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/kanye-...let-you-finish Don't bother reading the article or watching all the videos. XD I tried finding the shorter article from Comedy Central that Matt gave me, but I couldn't. |
I really just don't pay attention to these things, lol.
Talk about epitome of rudeness. |
He was kicked out. And poor Taylor just stood there patiently. Beyonce later invited her up to finish her acceptance speech when Beyonce won for another thing.
xD I didn't care much until Colbert dedicated an entire segment to it (he's already been long established to disliking Kanye West... XD). Apparently even Obama called Kanye a jackass and it was caught on recording. >o> |
Aw. I like Taylor Swift, too. >> Her songs have grown on me, country or not.
Lol. Pity I'm not fond of Colbert. His stuff just makes me shrug and change the channel. Unlike Dane Cook or Jeff Dunham.. xD;; |
I don't like her, but only because my entire family plays her CDs non-stop and it's really, really not in my taste.
Whereas Colbert and Jon Stewart are my gods, and I really don't much like the other two. XD;; |
:le shrug: To each their tastes. ^^
|
Of course. <3
I'm actually not one for comedy in general. @[email protected]; Anything remotely crude and I tend to turn up my nose, unless it's intelligently done, like with Robin Williams. |
I'm in preference of it. I don't mind crudely done humor to an extent. Robin Williams is the epitome of the dirty old man, too. xD;
