Cliff wasn't scheduled to be here this weekend and he came up this morning and didn't leave until evening... He never stays past noon on Sundays...

We met a school friend of his and the guys wife. The guy and us went out to brunch and the wife had brought some friends and they went somewhere else.

He introduced me as his friend.... The wife didn't believe it at all... I don't think that the guy was fooled very much either...

He said something about finding true love when I just got back from the bathroom and that conversation stopped pretty quickly...

However I didn't react to it at all. I pretended that I didn't hear him.

After the guy left, we were with him from 11-1 we went out to Walmart and got dog food and dog treats for my dog...

Then we went out to the shooting range to talk to the people that run it and find out what it costs, when they are open, and what all they do there...

After that we stopped at the gun club and checked out their information... They are only open two half days a week. The Range is open from 10-4, 7 days a week...

He had brought the Miata up to wash it... It was a very nice day here... We put the top down, then couldn't get the window to zip back in...

Then we came home and had some adult time and then he headed home...

Labor Day weekend I am invited to his best school friends wedding with him. They came down here about a year ago and we all met for dinner... Todays friend was his second best school friend.

Why would they have invited us unless they thought that I was fairly important to him?

I crack my family and friends up about it; I call him my not boyfriend all of the time... Yes, I have called him that to his face and many times this past year... The only time I don't say it is in front of his family and his friends... hehehe...

His first best friend, that is his cousin, and her husband have seen us together since 2-2 1/2 months after we started seeing each other.... hehehe They have seen us together many times... And his best friend was up here in the hospital twice about a year ago... hehehe... I went to see her once each time she was there...

He sent me there. He knew that I was going... After the first time at the hospital she told him she likes me, I'm fun... hehehe She is also the one that emailed him at about 4 months into the whole thing... She told him, "I don't know what you are up to... But whatever it is, I like it. You are a lot happier person, these days..." That was after the third time she had seen us together...

That is why it gets so confusing for me... Then February of last year he almost told his Mom... That is a long story but it is funnier than heck... hehehe...

For now I think that I am going to wrap this one up...

Anyways, is the hairpin you mentioned the 'chocolate bunny hairpin'? Its a rather new EI from the recent Easter Event so the prices aren't updated into the price guide just yet. Well, its hard to get exact prices of these because people sell them in sets most of the time but I have seen the items go for about 50-500 a piece which is a big gap! O.o it depends on how hard it was to get the item as well, the last item is probably worth the most at 500G but for the hairpin, it was quite easy to obtain so I would say, 100-200G but this is my opinion and I can't really be sure since I have yet to sell mine as individual pieces either ^^"

Oh no! I like when people come up with cute names for me. I have had a lot just from this site alone ^^ So it means a lot when people actually think about a cute creative way to refer to you.

Yeah, a lot of people will be hoarding those Easter sets until they probably go up in price and that would be in a year's time maybe when lots of new members join in and feel like they want to get nice Easter outfits for the Easter event so by then, there will probably be more demand for the Easter EIs. I think 100G is fair because lots of people have been selling for that price as well.

I hope to do more business with you do because you seem to have a fair way of conducting your terms so I will definitely be buying more items from you in the future :) And I will also stop by to chat whenever I am here... which is most of the time ^^

While it is true that it isn't real life business it is also true that economic trends are similar here to those in real life... It is all about supply and demand...

While the people on Mene aren't everyone in the world they are a diverse and mixed variety of people... Meaning that in fact it is just like real life business...
All the same things go into making the Mene economy as what makes the RL economy...

Personally I think you are kind of bright to check into other economies because it does give you a larger knowledge base...

I actually finally decided to create a mule but I named it 'pra-prawn' instead so you might be seeing her around sometime when I log in as her ^^"

Pa-panda would be cute but I wanted it related to a type of food and I barely see people with usernames that include the word 'prawn' so I decided on something a little more funny :P

I think I have theories on this place and I'm not sure how business practices can be used to the maximum here just yet but I want to try and experiment with things when I do get enough gold. Like say for example, buying all the 'presents' available in the market and then you will see that the prices will go up if one person controls all the supply for it :P Its just a theory but it could work!

but right now, my funds are a little dry for that experiment and there is a risk of not being able to sell a single present at all :p

Has been tried on many different sites like Mene... Just like it real life... The one that has the most of an item is the one that makes the price for everyone else...

The time that I saw it the most pronounced was on neopets with orange chicken. Two people with opposing ideas/sides bought up all of the orange chicken... Neopets is to big, so they didn't have all of them but they had a vast majority..

The two people started an economic war... I didn't buy orange chicken there for a LONG time...

I know that isn't exactly what your experiment is but the backlash of it all showed the results to be the exact same...

The market place at all of these sites will give you an really good general idea of how the market works in real life... The only real difference is the products for sale...

Anyway you being here and playing here has a twofold purpose...
1) You can have fun and make friends
2) You can learn about many different things for use in RL business

I was on neopets before and I still have an account there so I go whenever I feel bored because the games there are really fun! i love meepit juice break a lot for some reason and I can play that for hours!

I never knew anyone would conduct that experiment and especially on neopets because you are right about it being too vast! I mean, maybe it didn't work there because there is no need for that item? But if you buy all the 'presents' and store them until winter, the results could be promising ^^

My Neopets was my first game site...

I don't know if I will ever give it all the way up... I have 4 pets and each of them have a petpet.

I am a multimillionaire there. I want to say my home has about 25 rooms... Dang I can't remember, I haven't been there in a while...

I had my account before they started doing all this other junk so my house is the old kind not the new kind.

I have accounts at, at least 15 places similar to this one. I am active on at least 5 or 6 of them. By active I mean that I spend at least an hour or two at them. Another 5 or six I am on for a little while weekly...

The rest of them I go there a couple of time a month maybe and it is way more than 5 or 6 in this group... I didn't know I had so many accounts... hehehe

I still say that you can learn a lot hanging around in the market places on games like this... And the thing with the orange chicken thing on neopets did prove your point... It was just with 2 buyer/sellers instead of 1...

Zanny a year ago valentines past the owner of the time really messed up the economy by letting out a new pet and then putting 6 different types of them out and each of the 6 different types had 6 different colors...

What happened there was BAD... When the boss person lets just plain old to many of a similar item out at one time it really messes up the economy...

Prices on everything else sky rocketed as the the items became way to many for the system..

Those items became worthless, then Zanny gold became almost useless... It was terrible. It has taken this entire year+ to get the economy to even settle down some...

The owner at the time raked in a lot of cash just before he sold the place to the new owner... (On those stupid items that we had no idea were going to flood the market like that)

The new owner has been working his bootie off trying to straighten out the economy... As well as repair everything and replace many things and think up new things and make them work...

There is a lot to be learned on these types of game sites in their market places/shops... Economic trends work the same both in RL and in these types of sites... The only difference is the products...

Long long post katty O.O XD

Well, I used to be able to play a lot of neopets but then there were other commitments and it saw me stray away from the site. I'm not exactly a multi millionaire but I do have some amount of neopoints there and wow! 25 rooms is a lot! I have probably only a few rooms which I keep for my neopets. I don't really like the new room system because it makes a lot of the cool furniture unusable and which is another reason I got pretty upset and frustrated thinking about all the nice furniture there is that cannot be used together. Plus the 3D graphics gave me headaches >.<"

You really are active! O.O I only come here often and this place pretty much takes up most of my internet leisure time since I can hang out here for endless hours or just lurk.

The Zanny thing refers to Zantarni? Am I correct? If not, I really have no idea because I have never really ventured into other avatar websites as I feel it might be quite a hassle to start all over again ^^" I just simply love hanging out here and its all I need for now.

Anyways, the zanny thing sounds really scammish as it was really the owner who went crazy and just wanted to make money. I haven't been here long enough to see anything like that but so far, it seems like nothing of that sort ever happens here since the staff members are a very big part of the input for ideas here as well and the new owner is vey hardworking because it seems like he's always around to fix problems and make the site better than it was before.
