Vincent chuckled a little, still blushing lightly. He leaned down and kissed her again, gently wrapping his arms around her waist.
Allie shivered and blushed. She pressed her lips softly to his moving her hands to his face.
Vincent smiled into the kiss, continuing it for a minute or so before pulling away. He gently placed his forehead against hers, smiling. "Hungry, love?"
Allie loved kissing him, gently pressing their lips together softly. When her pulled away she smiled softly. She looked into his eyes and blushed as she thought 'yea, I am hungry, just not for food' She blushed deeper when she remembered he could read her thoughts. She looked at him "I am a bit hungry, haven't eaten in a while" she said with a small giggle.
Vincent looked into her eyes, not quite understanding what she said at the moment. Nt for food? But... He then understood, a blush spreading across his face. "I'll make breakfast.. be right back." he said softly, then got up and walked over to the door. Before he left he turned. "If you want something other than food later, we can arrange that.." he said, chuckling a little before leaving the room.
Alie smiled and watched him get up. Maybe he hadn't heard her after all. After he turned around with his comment a huge deep blush spread on her face. She admitted that she never wanted to stop kissing him. She stood up and thought she needed a shower. She looked over at the door and thought she could take a quick one before he got back. She decided against it and went into the kitchen.
Vincent headed to the kitchen, where he started getting out ingredients. He was glad he had bought food, though most of it was just for show, since it wasn't necessary to him. He decided on pancakes, which seemed simple enough to him. He was mixing the batter up when he noticed Allie enter the kitchen, and he paused to smile at her. "Pancakes alright?" he asked, pouring the batter onto the pan on the stove top. If she said no, he could just throw what he had started away.
Allie was walking through the hallway. A wonderful smell filled her nose. She was able to find the kitchen quickly. "I love pancakes.. that would be wonderful, thank you" she said with a smile. She then thought about last night. She showed him a lot of her abilities but never talked about them. "Vincent.." she paused. "I am a shape shifter..." she said as she transformed into a kitten and rubbed his leg with her head. She transformed back. "I can also control the wind.. that's how I was able to make that shield last night. She blushed at the memories but kept going. I can also heal very well.."
Vincent nodded, turning back to flip the first couple of pancakes, adding more batter into the pan. He wasn't too surprised, hearing about her abilities, smiling as she turned into a kitten, quickly petting her before she transformed back. He simply smiled, chuckling softly in response. "I guess that would explain the fangs... and the shield.."
Allie watched him control the pancakes. He was able to flip them in the pan without a spatula. When ever she tried to do that she failed. She looked at him and smiled "well the fangs are from my white tiger and cougar actually.." she said with a blushing grin. "didn't want to transform into a big cat in the middle of the kitchen." she said with a giggle.

Erina walked down the street, hands in her pocket had a hat on and in everybody's view she looked like a boy. She wasn't noticeable at all. She entered a small empty building. Lying on the floor was a violin, her violin at least for now. It had been there for a long time, it didn't seem to have an owner. She thought that someone left behind on purpose, like what her family did to her. She sighed. Unpacking the violin she hummed a gentle tune. She began to tune it skillfully. She began to play her song, a song that her mother sang to her to sleep before she had gone insane. Although it was a very lovely tune nobody could hear it, due to all the buzzing and noise on the street. She sighed.
Vincent smiled, flipping the pancakes again, then onto the plates he had set out. He chuckled softly, turning to smile at her. "Yeah... good idea." He then went and opened the fridge. "What do you want to drink? Milk, water, juice...?"
Allie smiled at him and watched in awe as he flipped the pancakes with ease. She smiled to him at the comment and then looked to the fridge. "juice would be great thanks" she said with a smile. "can I help?" she asked him kindly.
Vincent nodded, taking out some juice and pouring two glasses of it. At her question, he paused for a moment, then looked at their plates. "Umm... If you could take those to the table, that would be great." he said, smiling.
Allie nodded at him and smiled as she took their plates and carefully walked to the table. It would be embarrassing and rather sad if she tripped and ruined these amazing smelling pancakes. She put the plates on the table and walked back grabbing the syrup and the cups and headed back to the table looking behind him and smiling.
Vincent smiled, just watching her for a second, before opening a drawer and grabbing some silverware and napkins. He then followed her out into the dining room, setting the silverware and napkins on the table. Smiling, he sat down, pulling out a chair for her.
Allie watched him with a smile. She turned and followed him and then sat down "thank you" she said smiling. She looked over at him and smiled again. She couldn't help but smile every time she was near him.
Vincent smiled again at her, he simply couldn't help it. Seeing her smile was like seeing the light at the end of a long, dark tunnel... it was like his own, personal sunlight. He took a sip of his drink before starting to eat, not bothering to add syrup to his pancakes.
Allie smiled at his smile and looked down at her food blushing. "everything smells really good" She said softly as she added some syrup and then cut a small piece before putting it in her mouth. She smiled as she ate it. "this is delicious Vincent" She said as she took another bite.
Vincent smiled when she commented on the scent, watching her as she took a bite. He smiled brightly, seeing that she gave them a good reaction. "I'm glad.. Thank you."
Allie took a sip of her juice. It was wonderful orange juice without pulp. Her favorite. She smiled at him and then took another bite. It was really wonderful. "here try some with syrup" she said with a small smile.
Vincent hesitate, before taking the syrup and pouring a little onto his plate. "I'm not a big fan of it, but if you insist.." he took a bite, dipping it into syrup before taking it into his mouth. He smiled, nodding. "Not bad."
Allie then looked at him and watched his reaction. He didn't make a face. She smiled and nodded back "not bad.. your pancakes are amazing" she said with a giggle. She took another drink of her juice and looked up at him curiously.
Vincent chuckled, eating more of his pancakes, before catching Allie's eyes on him. He gave her a questioning look, taking another sip of his juice.
Vincent awoke that morning, remembering the rest of the night at the club. He hadn't really talked to Victoria or Myuu much, as he had left early, wanting to escape the thoughts of Épi. When he got home, Amber waited for him. "I heard," she said, with a sympathetic look on her face. "I guess you were the one who needed protection, huh?" "Are you trying to be funny?!" Derien had yelled at her, his eyes growing fierce. "Well, that's fucking hilarious, Amber! Good job!" By this point, Derien was right up in her face, yelling. He suddenly realized what he was doing, and turned silent, letting his head fall on Amber's shoulder. Amber wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. "There, there, big brother, she comforted. "It's always Épi, isn't it?" Derien said, letting go of his sister with a sad chuckle. "Never the one I'm really after..." Amber just looked at her brother. "But isn't it Épi that you truly want, brother?" Derien looked at her with his eyes full of hurt. "I'm going to bed," he said, and then walked off to his room.
Derien felt a reminder of that hurt, like re-opening a wound, and laid back down in his bed, covering his face with a pillow. "I do not want to live today," he muttered to himself, and laid there for a long while. |
