Vincent chuckled again, and shook his head. "Nope... so do I, my love." he said simply, kissing the side of her head. He was surprised when she suddenly stopped him from kissing her neck, but smiled as their lips locked. Aww.. but I love your reactions. he thought back, teasingly.
Allie looked over to him and smiled. He liked to win too, that's why he was teasing her, so she would become distracted as the fireworks went off. She held the kiss, deepening it a little bit. She growled playfully in her thoughts. She wasn't sure if they would stop when the fireworks did.. or did they have to roll for something else to happen?
Vincent smiled into the kiss, deepening it more as the fireworks finally started. He knew soon it would be his turn, so he would have to pull away from the kiss to roll, so he would enjoy it while he could. Once the last firework went off, Vincent trailed his tongue along Allie's lips ever so lightly before pulling away and smiling. He rolled, but only got a 2. He frowned, then shrugged, watching as no card popped up again.
Allie let out a small sigh as he deepened the kiss. She could do this for the rest of the day and wouldn't mind. When the fireworks stopped, so did he. She shivered as he licked her lips before he rolled. He got 2 and no card. "you get all the lucky ones.." she teased. She picked up the dice and rolled. She got 3.
Vincent waited. And waited. Then he waited some more before looking at Allie, shrugging. No card had come for her either. "My luck's rubbing off on you." he said teasingly before rolling. This time, he got a three, which left him still a few spaces behind Allie, who was pretty close to the finish line already. A card popped up, but it was blank. Confused, Vincent looked at it closely, checked the back, then looked at Allie. "It's... blank.."
(nice new avi :3 , I'm still waiting for a reply >/)
Allie smiled at him and watched as he took the card. Nothing was on it. She giggled and watched him roll. She kissed his cheek as he rolled. Nothing again.. this was weird. She shrugged and took the dice shaking them for a minute before tossing them on the board. They rolled for what seemed to be a long time, she got a four.. and the other was still rolling. When it finally landed it landed on a one. five.

Derien ran the entire way to Victoria's house, ignoring the strange looks he was getting. He got to her door, and knocked loud enough to be heard, but to not seem aggressive. As he waited for Victoria to remove the panels, he thought of what he should say. "Brought the blood!" seemed a little too goofy and platonic and "Are you okay?" was much too overprotective.
((rargh! Sorry we're so behind xxxarcxangelxxx! T^T I've been hella busy. How about we do a timeskip to catch up with everybody else once this day is over.)) |
(Back from vacation! Sorry for having to leave again. ^^;;
@briannamal; it's alright. ^^ i pushed us back a bit too due to vacationing. Time skip sounds good if you want to do that.) Vincent smiled, then shrugged and set the blank card to the side. Nothing like that had ever happened before.. but he blamed how old the game was. It was literally ancient, and it surprised him that the hand-painted board was still intact. When Allie rolled he watched, picking up the die that had fallen onto the floor before reading her card. "Flexibility is key.." Victoria nearly jumped at the sound of knocking coming from her door. She already knew who it would be, so she wasted no time in running to answer it. But not before running a hand through her somewhat messy hair in an attempt to make it look presentable. She then opened the door, smiling. "Hey.. come on in." |
Allie smiled at him and watched as the die fell to the floor. He picked it up and then read the new card. "Flexibility is key..." she repeated after him. She wasn't very flexible but every single one of the previous cards involved something or someone else. Maybe she wasn't going to be involved at all.
Vincent smiled shortly after reading the card, looking to the far side of the room. As if on cue, two trapeze swings appeared hanging from the ceiling, acrobats entering the room shortly after. The two acrobats took turns swinging from one pedestal to another, each doing flips and stopping to do smaller stunts in between.
Allie gasped and watched as the show started. This was a lot of fun to watch. She didn't know if she could do it. She turned and cuddled to his chest looking back at the act. She was having so much fun just being with him. She watched the act and applauded. She didn't even know if they could hear her.
Vincent watched the act with mild interest. It wasn't his favorite thing, but he did enjoy watching the acrobats' performance. He smiled at the end, also clapping a little before wrapping an arm snug around Allie. The performers left without much ado, and Vincent rolled. He got a 3. After watching his piece move, he waited. It took a few moments before a card popped up, which he then read. "Helmets are necessary."
Allie looked at him and smiled as he rolled. He got a three. They were tied on the same spot now. "helmets are necessary.." she repeated looking confused. now did that mean for them or the performers? She looked over to him and then down the hall waiting to see what was going to happen.
Vincent let out a sigh of relief as he realized it wouldn't be them, but performers again as he heard a canon fire. But only then did he realize that a canon had fired in his living room. A performer shot through the air, doing a few trick as he headed up. Vincent ran to a window, opening it for them as they went by so there would be no damage to his apartment. He then went back over to Allie, kissing the side of her face before handing her the dice.
Allie looked to the hallway and jumped as the cannon fired. She watched Vincent run to the window. She giggled softly as he sat back down. She closed her eyes as he kissed her. She took the dice and smiled as she rolled. She got two. What luck was that? She got one on both dice. She watched the pieces move along the board and then watched as the card popped up.
Vincent watched her roll shrugging as she got a two. He took the card, looked over both sides of it, then sighed. "Blank." He was about to grab the dice when he stopped and smiled at her. "You got snake eyes... you get another turn." She was only one away from the finish line, so it was obvious that she was going to win. At least to him it was.
Allie looked to him and sighed. It wasn't that much fun when the card was blank. She gave him the dice and then looked back to him. "no such thing as snake eyes.." she said with a smile. "fair is fair.. your up babe" she said with a smile. Maybe he would win, it would be good if she lost for once.
Vincent scooted back a bit as she held the dice near him, pointing to the side of the game board with the rules on it. Most of them were kind of 'duh' rules, but there was one specific one. "Snake eyes- roll again. Let's not make the game mad, alright, love?" he asked, with a sweet smile. He wanted her to win, but he also wanted himself to win.. either way, he didn't want to break the game's rules. He knew things might not end pretty if they did.
Allie looked over to him as he moved away. She looked over to the rules and sighed. He almost looked afraid. "what happens if we break the rules?" she asked him softly. This had peaked her interest. "it could be fun" she said with a smile. "it's just a game right.." she asked with a small smile.
Vincent frowned a bit. "I'm not sure... but let's not try. I don't think it would be a good idea." He then scooted back next to her, wrapped an arm around her and kissed the top of her head before gesturing to the dice. "It's your turn still."
Allie smiled a bit but nodded. "awwww alright.." When she was a kid she wasn't much a rule keeper. She always found cheats and glitches in video games and always won because of it. When she went to school.. she would break the rules for fun, but now she was older and more mature. She giggled to herself and took the dice, closing her eyes at the kiss. She rolled and knew what ever she rolled she was going to win. She ignored the rolling dice and looked to her piece moving along before landing on the ending box.
Vincent smiled as her piece reached the ending box, a huge booming noise coming from the large window behind them. Knowing what it was, Vincent turned and quickly opened the curtain to reveal fireworks going off outside. He then sat again, hooking an arm back around Allie and kissing her cheek. "Good game."
Allie looked over to him and jumped at least a foot off the chair. She giggled as she relaxed and followed his gaze looking out the window. She smiled as he kissed her cheek and she happily kissed him back. "yea it was fun" she said as the fireworks finally faded. "this was a really cool game.. I see now why you said it would be best to follow the rules." She said with a smile.
Instead of saying anything, Derien pulled Victoria into a hug. He held her there for a long moment, just enjoying the feel of her. Then, into her hair he muttered "I missed you."
