Akira frowned, "I know, I know...but, we have to disinfect the cuts" he said noticing her bones were broken. "Im taking you to the hospital.." he said knowing she won't hear him.
He picked her up carefully then walked into the garage, "car it is" he muttered to himself as he opened the passenger seat and laid her against the seat and quickly ran over to the drivers seat. |
Zoey mumbled being picked up again, her body was in so much pain. She was in the car now. Suddenly woken up by a bump looking over "n-no d-doc-doctor..." She knew that if she went to the hospital they would find out about her abilities and they might want to do experiments on her. "Akira please..-" she said a pleading whisper as she clutched his arm before passing out again. Her arm going limp back down to her waist. Zoey had a bunch of internal injuries that could kill her if she didn't receive medical attention fast.

Akira sighed, "Then how am i suppose to heal you?" he asked in a muttering tone.
He picked up Zoey, and ran back inside being careful that he didn't injure her more. I call my doctor then! He quickly ran to the phone, calling his Doctor Xenden, that knew about Akira's condition. You could say he more like a family doctor. "Thank you!" he spoke loudly in the phone before hanging up and running back to where he left zoey (on the bed). "it's okay...someone's coming, i know him well. He's a family doctor, he should be h-" he was cut short from the door bell ringing. |
Doctor's were always a big fear of hers. Someone finding out about her abilities and keeping her for tests and experiments. Zoey moaned in her state as she was moved again. Waking up at his voice, he was on the phone. "Akira.." she said softly. Looking up at him as he came over to her. "it hurts.." she moaned softly. Shutting her eyes at the doorbell, gulping down her fear of doctors. Akira wouldn't hurt her. She looked over to the door, wondering who it would be.

"Don't worry, he knows all about my family's.....well, he know i'm a vampire" he said, "and trust me he won't do any experiments on you" he petted her head, "Just stay here and don't move!" he said before running down the stairs and opening the door.
"Good your here!" Akira sighed in relief, "I think there's some internal bleeding as well." The two walked into the room. Xenden wore a doctor's robe, his long white hair covered the name tag he had been wearing. "It's okay, Zoey. Just let me look at your arm" he said. Xenden had unique ability, it was like healing without surgical items or have surgery. (XD sorry is the last bit didn't make sense) |
Zoey looked over at Akira and sighed. She couldn't really go anywhere. She heard them talking and coming up the stairs. Fear showing her eyes as he came up the steps. It wasn't in her nature to just trust doctors. He walked over to her and she almost jumped in fear. Trying to calm down she held out her arm to him, closing her eyes. Maybe if she thought it was Akira, she wouldn't mind it as much.

Akira walked over to the other side, holding her good hand gently. "It'll be okay, he won't harm you. If anything, he'll cure you" he spoke softly, kissing her cheek.
"You have broken your arm in multiple places. A warning, this may sting for a while." Xenden looked at Akira, then back at her arm, his hands gently around where the bone has been broken. He inhaled softly, a blue aura escaping the tips of his hand and wrapped around Zoey's arm. Some parts of aura seemed as if it dugg into her bone re-attaching the bone and was as if it sewed it back together. After a few minutes, the surgey-less operation was done. |
Zoey opened her eyes and took Akira hand, closing her eyes at the kiss. At least she knew nothing could happen to her now. She felt safe again. Looking from Akira to the doctor, closing her eyes. Suddenly squeezing Akira's hand tightly as he began to heal her, it did sting. It always seemed to hurt more when someone was fixing your injury then the actual injury itself. Letting a small gasp of pain escape before shutting her eyes tight. Staying as still as she can.

"You okay Zoey?" Akira said as he leaned down, kissing her once again.
Xenden nodded, "Yes, she should be okay. All she needs is to rest and drink lots fluids, preferably milk." he chuckled, "Milk does bring strong bones!" he winked, before gathering his things, "Now Zoey, is there anything else you'd like me to check up on?" he asked, gently touching her shoulder. |
Zoey had her eyes closed but looked up hearing Akira's comforting voice. Closing her eyes as he kissed her, being comforted by him. Looking up at the doctor once more, her arm a bit numb but no longer in shooing pain. Blushing a bit at his wink but nodding her head. He really wasn't a bad guy, it was the next part that scared her. Where an x-ray or something might be needed. This was the part she feared. Hissing as he touched her shoulder, apparently there was something there as well. Looking to the doctor apoplectic "I think there is something in my shoulder and my stomach hurts really bad.." she said softly looking up to Akira. She had internal injuries and they might be deadly...

Xenden sighed knowing that Zoey would have to go to the hospital, he didn't have the proper materials to see what was wrong with her. "Zoey...i'm going to check your stomach and shoulder and if I say go to the hospital you will have to go. They aren't going to experiment on you or anything" he said placing his two fingers over his heart, "Promise"
Akira felt the urge to punch that Richard dog in the face for doing this to Zoey. It was now clear to him that he grown feelings for her, which surprised him the most; he hadn't fallen for anyone in about fifty or even a hundred years. Akira only hoped that she heals fast. "Please, Xenden...help Zoey!" he cried holding onto her good hand gently. Xenden nodded, "Ill try my best" |
Zoey looked at him and gulped back her fear. Nodding her head, shutting her eyes tight. She didn't want to go to the hospital. How did he know about the experiments? Was he a vampire too, could he also read her mind? He must have fed long and good for him to be around all this blood. Just like Akira.
Not wanting to cry out she squeezed Akira's hand kissing it softly. She was terrified of loosing him, she was so in love with him. It seemed unreal how much she cared. "Akira in case I don't make it.." she said softly looking to him, letting the doctor check her out. "you have to know something.." she said looking into his eyes, suddenly closing hers and her hand going limp in his grip. Passing out from the pain she was hiding... |

"Z-zoey?" he cried out, his hand enveloped around hers. His eyes looked terrified and worried. His heart sank as Zoey didn't respond back to his calls. "X-xenden!" he yelled, wanting this whole thing to go faster. Xenden nodded, his hand gently punctured her stomach to see if anything was wrong, and indeed there was. "Shit!" he muttered, his hand trailing to her shoulder, it was badly hit. He was sure he could heal the shoulder, the only hard part was the stomach; there is obviously some internal bleeding going on and if he didn't act fast they may lose her. A blue-ish aura danced furiously around his hands that laid on her stomach. "This will hurt" he said making Akira squeeze her hand tightly. Sweat drops poured from the doctors head, his energy slowly draining at the hour long operation; but it was finally done. He sighed, wiping the sweat off his forehead. "She'll be fine, but it's VERY important that she rest and DOESN'T move that much." he said the aura dissolving into the air. "In about a week or two she'll feel better, if not..call me" he stated, and started working on her shoulder that soon healed. Akira sighed, his eyes stayed fixed on the girl. The hand that wasn't occupied slowly caressed her cheek. "It'll be okay" Xenden bowed, "Call me if anything happens, for now let her rest" he said before vanishing with the darkness that surrounded them. Akira stayed by her side. |
Zoey woke up when the doctor was healing her stomach "Akira... hurts.." she mumbled again before passing out from the pain. Waking up a few minutes later, she saw the blue color floating on her stomach and flying away with the wind. "Akir-" she tried to say again, but passed out. Her body was shaking from the added pain even with her being out cold. Opening her eyes again, just to see the doctor shimmer into darkness, "I.." her eyes closed again. A few hours later, she finally opened her eyes, looking around, she groaned trying to sit up. Her eyes shut again, groaning "Aki-" she whispered closing her eyes again. She was in so much pain. "Akira I have to tell you..." she tried to move closer to him.

Akira's eyes stayed on Zoey, "What is it that you want to tell me?" he asked, his hand still cupped around hers gently. He wondered if Zoey felt the same way about him as he did her. He wondered if he should tell her but Akira has always been the type of person to wait until someone says something.
With his other hand, he gently brushed her hair away from her face and a smile appeared on the vampire's face. |
Zoey groaned trying to sit up and look at him. She used her good hand to cup his hand in hers. Squeezing it as tight as she could, in her condition, it was as if it was a baby."I love you Akira.." she said softly kissing his hand, the closest thing she could reach without pain. She said it, it was out. Hopefully it wasn't a giant elephant in the room. Closing her eyes again trying to stay awake. "no sleep" she mumbled as her eyes closed and she fell asleep again.

Akira eyes widen, he couldn't believe what he had just heard. His heart that he had never knew he had started beating rapidly. His pale face turned a slight pink-ish color. He opened his mouth , but no words escaped the vampire's mouth; no audio, no nothing. Instead, he smiled. The vampire could finally say he was happy for many reasons that Zoey was okay, and that...well, she loved him and he; her.
Akira leaned in forward, and gently captured her lips with his. He pulled away for a quick second, summing up the courage to say what she said back, "I..love you to, Zoey" he muttered softly, his eyes fixated on hers. |
Zoey had learned the meaning of true love by meeting Akira, never did she know she could fall so hard so fast. Looking up at him, her breath caught in her chest as they kissed. It was filled with so much emotion. Kissing him back with so much passion. Tears his her eye, he loved her too. "Akira.." she said softly as she closed her eyes, the pain coming back.

"A-are you okay?" he asked noticing something a little off. "Are you in pain?" he kept asking not wanting Zoey to be in pain. Akira was still happy though, he had confessed his feelings towards her and those feelings were returned.
Yes, he was happy but still concerned for the fact that she is still injured. |
Zoey slowly opened her eyes and looked over to him nodding. "I'm alright, just a little sore.." she said honestly. Shaking her head no, "no pain, don't worry.." she smiled up at him. Her arm was numb at the moment but her moving was getting to her stomach. She pulled his hand to hers with her good arm. Placing his hand near her face, she pressed her lips to his palm and then every one of his knuckles.

Akira smiled at the action, using his other hand to stroke her hair. "I'm glad then, but please tell me if your in pain..okay?" he muttered softly, kissing the girl once again before pulling away.
"I'll go get you some water, okay?" he paused for a moment, his heart filled with joy with just a glance of the radiance of zoey. He just hoped she'll get better soon, "I'll be right back" |
Zoey looked over to him and closed her eyes as he played with her hair. It felt so good, so comforting. Frowning as he pulled away but looking to his eyes. "no.." she mumbled. Her heart beating faster at the thought of him leaving. "please don't go, don't leave me.." she said softly. Her lower lip trembling. He was the only good thing right now, he made her feel safe, even after all that just happened.

Akira chuckled, caressing her cheek "I'm not leaving you okay, i'm just going to get some water so you don't leave me" he said as he kissed her passionately.

Zoey looked over to him and shook her head. "please don't go Akira... please" she was pleading with him. She didn't need water. All she needed was him, she didn't wanna ever leave him again. If she saw Robert, someone help her, she would kill him. She was so mad at him now, not to mention Akira, she would have to stop him before he really killed him.

Akira gave in with a sigh, "Alright i shall stay with you then" he said, stroking her hair a couple of times before he kissed her cheek. "At least rest for me, okay?" he added, he didn't Zoey to be kept awake all night; he wanted her to rest and get better.
