indeed. so i have 3 chapters left to read in my drivers ed book. and there was this sample test in the book and i got 100% on it. so i think ill be good to go for tuesday or wednesday for my G1... the written test. and then i just need to get in car driving experience and 8 months later take my G2 driving test. and if i pass, before christmas i will have my G2. good plan eh?

Yeah, sounds good. I can't remember how long I've been learnin, hopefully only a few more months and I can get my license. Then I just need to find a car I can afford to insure.

yeah true enough. its freaken hard. do you know that the average price of a car in canada is the same or higher then the average yearly wage of a canadian? seriously. just to buy! let alone insure or fuel. its retarded! how are we supposed to live at all? i suppose in debt is the answer the that last question. but that cant be the only solution.

Yeah I can buy a car for 600 but it'll cost me over 2 grand to insure it for a year. Just because I'm under 25 and a new driver.

yeah me too. well ill be over 25 by the time i get my g2, but because im a new driver that matters more then how old you are.

I'll hopefully have had my license over a year when I turn 25. It's actually more expensive insurance wise to have your full license than just a provisional here.

oh its not here. once you get your full licence its not at expensive. and the longer your driving without an issue, the lower it is.

Not sure, don't know how long the waiting list is but my theory test is on the 11th.

They had to cancel a lot over Christmas because of the snow.

ah ok that makes sense. they are backed up here because of the strike a few years back. there was like a year long strike so a lot of places are over booked. but i think they might be all caught up now.

thats amazing! i wont be. lol. but my birthday is april. so i think its understandable. lol. my original goal was before christmas. and if i get it before the summer is out thats even better. but i probably have to be ready for the test and call them to book it in like april, just to be sure i get it before the summer is out, since they are normally a lot busier in the summer with them.

Yeah, mines not till November so I should defo have done it by then. Hopefully have a car too. I can't wait till I have a car, my mum's already got me a sat nav cause I have no idea where anything is.

im really excited about getting a car too. just the ease of getting around and being able to visit people on my own terms you know? not having to wait for a ride. then things like my mom not willing to give me a ride to see my grandfather the weekend before he dies because she didnt want to.... that would never happen again ever. and i like the idea of that.

the only thing i dont like, is that i would end up being DD nine times out of ten because i dont like to drink and everyone else does.

Everytime I come back from my lesson she asks where I've been and I don't know I just turn when he tells me to. I'll always be the designated driver cause I don't drink at all. Not having to wait in the cold for a bus or goin on a bus and then a train or two buses. It'll be so good.
