i am so tired. i worked till 12 the night before, then woke up at 7am for volunteering then went to a concert and stayed up till like 2 or 3 and then woke up at 8! and now i have to go grocery shopping and then i am going to sleep for like 3 hours. then i have to clean everything. and i hit my head at work and its giving me a headache. |

Fuckin morons, I went down to the DVLA office because I had nobody to sign my photo and they've sent my application back to be because they haven't filled int he signing the photo section. ¬_¬ And I got a letter from the student loans company, I now owe them 20 grand because they're putting £25 interest on it every month. |

It's not really a bank, it's the student loans company. All they do is loan tuition fees and maintenance money to people who can't afford uni on their own. But this year they've refused a lot of people because they haven't got enough money because so many people now want/need to go to uni to be able to have any chance at a job. So while the government is going on about record numbers of people are applying and going to university and saying how fantastic that is people who want/need to go can't because they can't afford it on their own and there isn't enough money to lend them.
When I applied my sixth form told me it was interest free. While I was at uni the interest was £45 a month so yeah its not as much but still if I'd known that there would be that much interest. The majority of what I owe them is interest. I wouldn't have bothered and I probably could have figured out that I wanted to do this childcare thing before I wasted 3 years and 20+ grand. |
yeah well they dont tell you that when your in highschool. they just say that you cant get a job unless you go to university NOW. and they dont want to give you time to think about it at all. they all go on and on about how you have to know what you want to do in grade 9 or else you wont be able to because your not prepared. but if you dont think about it or have enough time do or are even fully developed, how can you really be prepared regardless?
