Lol, I don't. XD The storyline was utterly ridiculous, but I guess a lot of anime are in retrospect. I do like the music though. :)

@pinwheel: That's true, sometimes it's those ones that are the best. XD I did like Gravitation back in the day, but looking back now I wouldn't rank it in my favorites. (Just a personal thing though. After watching old anime shows I realize that they weren't as amazing as I thought they were. :lol:)

I like a lot of the "classics". Animation back then was pretty awesome, not that now a days isn't. Though Gravi isn't a classic, just old. xD
Old stuff like Fushigi Yuugi is still one of my favorites. Ranma, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Card Captors... *can go on forever*

The anime was stupid. D: It hardly served a purpose and didn't go with the manga at all. I hate when anime's do that.
Murakami's got like 2 other manga's she's working on that I know of. The vampire one and the video game one, which I like best. 8D
I think she likes doing Megamix's better than the actual story. xD

@Pinwheel: I watched or read pretty much all of those. :3 Classic anime is great for nostalgia reasons. Plus, they tended to be a bit better (as far as story goes, maybe not with art due to budget/age) since back in the day fewer anime could be produced due to cost and even fewer of those were brought overseas. Not saying there aren't some good ones now, but there's also a lot of mediocre anime in the mix as well.

Not to sound like a snob, just something I've noticed. XD I appreciate shows in a broad range of "quality", though generally for different reasons.

It's interesting to watch anime's that are by creator's that have been around forever. Like CLAMP. The way they've changed is crazy. From HOLY CRAP AMAZING Magic Knight Rayearth to WTF NOODLE PPL xxxHolic. xD

Lol! Well with CLAMP you also have to factor that it's a group that does the stories/artwork and they've changed over the years, which is why the writing and artwork is not very consistent across their different series.

I think Mokona is my favorite. Her works are way too pretty.

@pinwheel: I heard that they changed a lot of people within the group though. I never really paid too much attention to the artists, I just focused on the manga/anime themselves. XD My favorite is an old manga no one likes with only so-so art, but I love the writing. <3

@Yume: It really depends for me. Often I like which one I saw/read first since that's just human nature, but that's not always true (I saw the anime of Fruits Basket first which is okay, but the "ending" for the anime is terrible). There are some where I definitely like the anime more, usually because of writing/flow, like Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, etc. But I think Bebop is one of those where the manga was made afterward...
